New in PJ Media:
We know the left hates President Donald Trump. We know the left wants Trump out of the Oval Office. And yes, we know that the left wants Trump dead: just look at leftists’ hysterical glee over the completely unfounded rumors that the president had passed away this past week, when he didn’t make any public appearances for a few days. On Tuesday, a notorious Trump-hating judge helped remove any lingering doubts that all too many leftists want to see Trump die in office when he ordered a woman who wants to murder Trump to be freed from custody. What could possibly go wrong?
It all started back in mid-August, when Secret Service agents in New York questioned a woman named Nathalie Rose Jones over statements she had made threatening the president. Washington’s WUSA reported that “in a Facebook post on Aug. 6 in which she tagged the FBI, Jones wrote she was ‘willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea.’ In an email sent Aug. 14, Jones allegedly wrote she was ‘available to kill this man’ in apparent reference to Trump. According to a detention memo, the email was sent to ‘several military, pharmaceutical and governmental recipients.’”
Jones also wrote to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: “Please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American People from 10-2pm at the White House on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.” Clearly, this lady was a few bricks shy of a load, but she was also potentially dangerous. Agents would have been remiss to ignore what she was saying.
During her conversation with the agents, Jones “told investigators she had traveled to the District to ‘plan a dignified arrest ceremony’ for Trump and to pay her respects for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter at the White House.” She also called Trump a “terrorist” and a “Nazi,” which basically means that Nathalie Rose Jones is a fairly typical Democrat, but in light of her other statements, there was legitimate cause for concern. She said she would kill Trump at “the compound” if she got the chance, and had a “bladed object” with which she would “carry out her mission of killing” Orange Man Bad.
In light of all this, there was really no choice. The day after the agents questioned her, Jones was arrested. Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya then ordered that the would-be assassin be “held without bond and undergo a competency evaluation.”
Upadhyaya explained: “I see some very troubling conduct combined with travel to the District of Columbia.” You can say that again. Upadhyaya also said that she had reviewed sealed files indicating that Jones “suffered from mental illness that gave her pause without a doctor’s evaluation.”

There has to be a way to get these Biden era judges off the bench. Injecting personal feelings and remarks to every case they oversee is not upholding Constitutional law, that in itself should be able to remove them.

Federal (Article III) judges are life appointees: “The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.”
Over the history of the US, several judges have been impeached for various reasons:
Committing crimes (e.g., bribery, perjury, assault);
Engaging in corrupt or grossly unethical conduct;
Being mentally and physically unable to perform judicial duties;
Failure to upholding judicial ethics and the Constitution.
In 1805, Judge Pickering was impeached by the House and removed by the Senate for chronic drunkenness, unlawful rulings, and signs of mental instability
In 1862, Judge Humphreys was removed for supporting the Confederacy
In 1989, Judge Hastings was removed, He was acquitted of bribery in a criminal trial, but was nonetheless impeached by the House and removed by the Senate.
In 2010, Judge Porteous was removed for lying under oath. and “ethical corruption.”
Judge Boasberg released Jones because although he stated that she was mentally ill, he felt that she did not have the means to carry out her threats, but that is not the legal standard. Her on line rhetoric could incite others.
But the matter is now complicated, because a federal grand jury refused to indict Jones. Jones was visited by the Secret Service in her apartment in New York, but not arrested. She was only arrested when she traveled to Washington DC afterwards to attend a protest.
Despite the kinks in this case, Boasberg’s animosity towards Trump shines through his expected judicial temperament and should be grounds for impeachment. But a majority vote in the House to impeach and a 2/3 majority in the Senate for removal is required for removal.
So, despite lots of horrible federal judges in the history of the US, only the few mentioned above have actually been removed from office due to the high bar for such removal.

Time to lower the bar.

There is, but it requires I believe 2/3 of the Senate to impeach & remove them from office. Something neither side is ever gonna get
Maybe like that judge who was hauled to jail for letting an illegal escape from the back of her courtroom, more judges could be subjected to that treatment. Also, in any follow-up case, they’d be automatically banned from being a judge in those cases, since they would be one of the parties in such a judgement

Is USA still a country of laws?

Obama and Biden appointed federal judges are arguably the single greatest link in the American Republic of today.

Oops. Meant “weakest” and not “greatest.” Hadn’t yet had my morning coffee. Yeah, that must be it.

This so-called ‘judge’ injected his **non-doctor’s* opinion that the woman was no danger.
If she managed to pull-off her stabbing the President to death, would this fool blink twice?
Claiming that she is no danger was proven by the lack of arrest until the next day….saying the Secret Service didn’t take her seriously as his *reason* ….cowardly, as he really doesn’t care if she poses a danger to the President.
His lack of ethics and his disdain for the man are so obvious. He and bo…two of a kind.

It is amazing how are laws and Judicial system go way out of their way to protect the criminals and not the victims. And we the tax payers and victims pay for it all.
James Lincoln says
So, just how bad does a US federal judge have to be in order to face some degree of accountability?
Has not U.S. District Judge James Boasberg reached that threshold?
