On July 21, 2024, the International Court of Justice (“ICJ” or “Court”) delivered its advisory opinion on the Legal Consequences arising from the Policies and Practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. On its own terms, the Court’s opinion is damning in the breadth and scope of its findings against Israel. In particular, the opinion found Israel’s continuing presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT; shorthand for the West Bank, east Jerusalem and Gaza) to be unlawful. The Court stated that Israel must end its presence therein “as rapidly as possible” and that Israeli settlements must be dismantled, while also opining on obligations of third states regarding the situation (para. 285).

The International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) July advisory opinion on the legal consequences of Israel’s policies and practices in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is a landmark ruling. The ICJ’s findings are legally and morally persuasive, and set out obligations on all states, and on the United Nations itself. Two of its important conclusions are with respect to apartheid and reparations.
The court found Israel’s measures in the West Bank that impose and maintain separation between Palestinians and Israeli settlers are a breach of Article 3 of the UN treaty prohibiting racial discrimination. Article 3 obligates governments to prevent, prohibit, and eradicate all racial segregation and apartheid….
That tells you all you need to know about that UN-created kangaroo court, the ICJ, with Israel perennially in the dock, and convicted over and over again. The ICJ accuses Israel of apartheid, but there is no apartheid in Israel. That accusation properly applies only to a difference in treatment of citizens of Israel, not to the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria who are non-citizens.
In Israel, Arabs sit in the Knesset, serve on the Supreme Court, go abroad as diplomats. A recent head of the largest bank in Israel, Bank Leumi, was an Arab. Jews and Arabs are treated in the same hospitals, play on the same sports teams and in the same orchestras, work in the same offices and factories, own businesses — everything from restaurants to high-tech start-ups — together. Only in one respect are Israeli Arabs treated differently from Israeli Jews: Jews must, while Arabs may, serve in Israel’s military. This information has made not the slightest impression on the ICJ, which is determined in every way to malign the tiny and embattled Jewish state.
The ICJ further blots its copybook by declaring that Israel “must end the occupation,” by which it means that 700,000 Israelis must be uprooted from their homes in Judea, Samaria, and east Jerusalem. But Israel does not “occupy” those territories. For 3500 years, Jews have lived in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem. It was in recognition of that long history that the League of Nations decided that the Mandate for Palestine, which in time would become the Jewish state, would include all the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The only reason that area was not incorporated in Israel in 1949 was that the Arab Legion of Jordan seized and held on to that territory in the 1948 war. In 1967, when Israel won Judea and Samaria, it did not claim a new right but was able, after 19 years, to enforce its pre-existing right to Judea and Samaria. The ICJ, as a matter of international law, is flatly wrong. It ignores the 3500 years of Jewish history, and the Mandate for Palestine’s territorial provisions, and finally, it even ignores UN Security Council Resolution 242, which recognized Israel’s right to hold on to territory won in the Six-Day War that it needed to retain if it was to have “secure and defensible borders.”
Neither the 120 members of the International Association of Genocide Scholars — those “international experts on genocide” who have wrongly been represented as speaking for all 500 of the IAGS members — nor the ICJ, a creature created by the UN, have proven any intent by the Jewish state to obliterate the people of Gaza. Every bit of evidence suggests, rather, tremendous efforts by the IDF to minimize civilian casualties, including the warnings conveyed to civilians about areas soon to be targeted, and to provide thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to the people living in Gaza,, including the more than 100 million meals delivered just since May.

I’m not sure how many people today remember Apartheid in the last century. But while it may have been unfair to Blacks, what it did do is segregate the different races, so that there wouldn’t be inter-racial strife. Looking at South Africa today, I’m no longer convinced that they had the wrong idea
However, whatever that case, there is a strong case of segregating muslim populations from non-muslim populations in any country that has both. The grooming gangs in Britain, the “lover-boys” in the Netherlands, the love-jihad in India,… all make an emphatic case for restricting muslims to their sandboxes, and infidels to other sandboxes. The same is true about Israel: it would be pretty stupid of Jerusalem to have localities where Jews and muslims are randomly mixed. At best, those areas would see love-jihad like incidents routinely, and at worst, October 7ths would be a daily occurence
The ICJ, in its blind pursuit of “justice”, no longer recognizes humanity. The sooner all these UN institutions are terminated – all of them – UNGA, UNSC, WHO, UNESCO, UNHCR, ILO, blah blah blah, the better!

If the International Criminal Court is really interested in justice it would be acting against war criminals who ,top dogs,, chiefs of Hamas who had their Muslim terrorists stooges murderous actions of attempted of genocide, against the peaceful Jewish citizens of the State of Israel on October 7th 2023.. Likewise, the ICC would also issue arrests warrants against those Muslim despots of Iran, as Khamenei,, who send Hamas and Hezbollah with deadly weapons, Iran’s proxy, , for those dangerous and deadly jihad entities have every intention of committing genocide against the Jewish people.
