Abbas has had a foremost ambition since the start of the Gaza war: to rule Gaza. So he’s making a case for himself at the UN. Hamas has always been his political opponent.
Yet the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are both political jihadist organizations, neither of which care about the Palestinian people, whom they use as pawns. A major goal of Abbas, who has steadfastly maintained his Palestinian Authority’s pay-for-slay program, is to annihilate the Jewish state, in accordance with the Palestinian National Charter. The Palestinian Authority holds jihad summer camp for kids. Hamas does the same. So does Palestinian Islamic Jihad and others. The children are indoctrinated to kill Jews from the earliest ages, and they call it “resistance.” Even before the founding of Israel, numerous Islamic forces tried to block the creation of the Jewish state.
Israel is surrounded by enemies who seek its destruction, and for some mystifying reason, far too many Western countries are blinded to the fact that the Palestinians seek a one-state solution, that is, the total destruction of Israel, from the River to the Sea. Abbas has made no secret of it by his actions, and by PA programs instituted in the Palestinian territories to promote “martyrdom” and Israel’s destruction.
Abbas should be slamming Hamas’ use of human shields in Gaza (and not just Hamas), but he won’t, because Hamas’ use of human shields has enabled the propaganda that Israel is committing “genocide.” Abbas is benefiting from that label, but the Palestinian Authority is just as dangerous as Hamas. Joe Biden favored Abbas, nonetheless, to lead Gaza after the war, and in a joint press conference with Abbas, Biden offered more than $300 million for the Palestinians.
Now Abbas has declared “Palestine Is Ours” at the U.N. General Assembly.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president, has decried Israel’s “war of genocide” and settlement expansion, while condemning Hamas and saying the armed group would hand over its weapons in any postwar settlement in a closely watched speech to the United Nations.
Abbas addressed the gathering by video conference after his visa was revoked by the United States ahead of the 80th session of the United Nations general assembly.
Reinforcing the global schism over Israel’s war in Gaza, UN member states voted 145-5 to allow Abbas to address the international body remotely after the US barred more than 80 Palestinians from entering the country.
“What Israel is carrying out is not merely an aggression. It is a war crime and a crime against humanity that is both documented and monitored, and it will be recorded in history books and the pages of international conscience as one of the most horrific chapters of humanitarian tragedy in the 20th and 21st centuries,” Abbas said on Thursday.
Abbas reiterated a number of declarations he made at a special session led by France and Saudi Arabia on Monday, when France and several other countries formally recognised Palestinian statehood. In the speech, he called for an immediate ceasefire, unimpeded entry for humanitarian aid through UN organisations, the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, and the withdrawal of Israel from territory in Gaza.
He also issued a rejection of the Palestinian Authority’s rival Hamas, which he said would have no role in a postwar governance of Gaza – a key condition of Israel and the United States. However Abbas and the Palestinian Authority administer the West Bank but not Gaza, and do not have a direct role in negotiations over a ceasefire or postwar planning for Gaza…..

Abbas is the appropriate follower of his predecessor – and is. As evil, corrupt, and rich. How he receives support from residents of the West Bank’, surrounding Muslim nations, and Western Europeans is beyond me.

Abbas is a blatant liar and an outright falsehood speaker .For it was Hamas that attempted attempted many horrific actions of genocide against the Jewish people on October 7th 2023.
Hamas started this current war on 10/7/23 and is still attempting to commit genocide against the Jewish people of the State of Israel and against the entire Jewish race, that demonic/ Islamic goal is even in the charter of Hamas.

The other countries most likely think if Israel the country to pick on they will be safe. I see them as very mean and also evil. They should be thinking all should be protected.
