Less than four months ago, Jihad Watch reported that the Palestinian Authority keeps on keeping on with its “Pay For Slay” program (aka the “martyrs’ salary”).
Nothing has changed, even as propaganda continues to build which contributes to the international gang-up against Israel and the exoneration of the jihadists of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. This is going on despite the fact that Hamas is entirely to blame for the crisis in Gaza. Sites such as Palestinian Media Watch are keeping an eye on the Palestinians and reporting what they are actually up to, versus what they tell the international community. They employ the tactic of taqiyya in the way of jihad. Taqiyya is an Islamic doctrine that encourages dissimulation in the quest to conquer and subjugate infidels.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has once again failed to honor the public commitment it made to the United States and European donor countries in January 2025 to end its policy of financially rewarding terrorism. Despite pledging to halt monthly salaries to imprisoned terrorists and stipends to the families of so-called “Martyrs” (killed terrorists), the PA continues these payments.
Palestinian Media Watch can confirm through three different sources that in its most recent monthly payments, the PA once again paid salaries to imprisoned terrorists and allowances to families of “Martyrs.” At the beginning of August 2025, when the PA paid civil-servant salaries for June 2025, it also included these terror-reward payments – the policy internationally recognized as the PA’s “Pay-for-Slay” program.

Since 2011, when PMW first notified the donor countries that the Palestinian Authority pays over $300 million a year to reward terrorists, the international community has been demanding that the PA stop its Pay-for-Slay program. In January 2025, desperately in need of additional foreign aid and hoping for international recognition of a Palestinian state, Mahmoud Abbas announced that the PA would stop the payments.
In February this year, contradicting what he told the international donors, Mahmoud Abbas told Palestinians that he would never stop or lessen the rewards to the prisoners and Martyrs…..

Yes, before Trump disbanded USAID, Our tax dollars we’re going to fund the Palestinian Authority and Mahmood Abbas and pay for slay. I would not be surprised if our tax dollars are still being used for this purpose from another account that they did not find yet, but at least the main faucet was turned off.

Pay for slay is a real problem for Israel. It takes away the deterrent of the terrorist having his house destroyed by Israel in response to his terroristic acts. If the terrorist is killed or captured, his family is financially rewarded above and beyond the value of his house, and so the terrorism goes on and on and on.

There has to be a way that Israel can hack these payments. Considering what they reward, it is in no way stealing to do so.

In addition to shutting down all “Palestinian” security institutions, they should also shut down all of their financial institutions. Yeah, there will still be the issue of “havala” payments, but at least, the number of ways the Palis can be paid will be minimized
