“Catholic Slain in Muslim Attack on Pilgrims in Pakistan,” Morning Star News, September 8, 2025:
LAHORE, Pakistan (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Muslims on Sunday (Sept. 7) shot to death one Catholic and wounded another as they traveled to a Marian pilgrimage site in Punjab Province, Pakistan, sources said.
Afzal Masih of Samnabad locality of Lahore in Punjab Province, and his cousin Harris Tariq Masih were among a group of Catholics who were in a passenger van en route to the annual Feast of the Nativity of Mary shrine in Mariamabad, Sheikhpura District, when they were attacked by Muslims with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, said Aurangzeb Peter, a member of the traveling group.
“We were about 12-13 people in the van, including women and young girls of our families,” Peter said. “When we were on the Sheikhupura highway at around 1:30 a.m., three Muslim youths riding two motorcycles started teasing and catcalling our women passengers. They also blocked our way by zigzagging their bikes in front of our van.”
Afzal Masih, sitting in the front seat, asked the assailants to stop harassing the women, and the Muslims stopped the van and pulled him out onto the road, Peter said.
“They started beating him with fists and kicks and attacked us as well when we tried to rescue Afzal,” Peter told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News.
When the assailants noticed the posters and cross pasted on the vehicle and heard that all the passengers were Christians en route to the shrine, they started cursing in coarse language.
“They also called us Chuhra [pejorative term used for Christians] and said how could we dare to call them out,” Peter said.
The assailants left and the pilgrims resumed their journey, but when they stopped at a gas station for a tire pressure check, the three Muslims suddenly appeared with weapons as Afzal Masih and Harris Masih were standing with the driver. One of them, later identified as Muhammad Waqas of Farooqabad, opened fire with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, shooting Afzal Masih in the neck and Harris Masih in his right arm, Peter said.
Afzal Masih died instantly. He was 44….

Sounds about right. And at the risk of being accused of not being a True Christian® (whatever that is) I’ll just say that until Christians start defending themselves and the Faith the violence against Christians will never end. For every Christian slain, two moslems. For every Christian church burned or defiled, two mosques. It’s time that Christians stopped acting the sheep to the slaughter and make it perfectly clear to the Religion of Peace® that violence against Christians will have serious and lasting consequences. Only then will the violence stop.

There are many Muslims who strongly dislike Christians. Some Muslims even hate Christians to such spiteful malice- filled vicious extent that they even engage in murderous violence against them, as seen in this jihadwatch news report from Pakistan.
One reason for this is that in the mosques and madrasas the Muslim clerics, as the imams who speak many awful and unproven terrible things against Christians and Christian doctrine. So much so the many Muslims get all worked up against Christians and Christian teachings and some those Muslims commit violent actions against Christians. Such false religious teachers, as those Muslim clerics, who speak to people unfounded and invalid evil things about Christians and Christian doctrines have been described in the Bible. For the Bible informs the reader in Second Peter 2:12. “They speak evil of things they do not understand and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” [N.K.J.V.]
It also should be made clear that in this specific above Bible verse, as well as in John 3:16. The word “Perish” does not mean loss of being but loss of well-being. As in going to ruin by ending up in languishing in torment in a terrible place of suffering that the Bible calls hell. Luke 16:19-31.

The many apologists and propagandists for Islam, who live on the nations of the West ,repeatedly, tell Westerners that ” Islam is a tolerant religion , especially for Christians and Christianity” and the Muslims look favorably on Christians.”
As reveals in this article about the vicious Muslim persecution of Pakistani Christian the exact opposite of what those proponents of Islam keep on claiming to naive Westerns who don’t really understand the intolerant violent and deadly essense of Islam .
If this malicious persecution of those Christians who live in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was an isolated incident , that would be a one time evil , but all reoccurs , time after in different towns and cities in Pakistan and other Islamic nations around the world. Therefore the claim this Islam is tolerate , and also non-violent, is definitely a completely false claim.

I am Jewish, so forgive me if I am looking at this incorrectly, but… that poor Catholic man murdered by the Muslims has a markedly beatific look on his face, as if he knew he was going, and then went, to his death as a martyr for his faith. And I mean a REAL martyr, not a “martyr” in the Islamic sense, which usually involves murdering non-Muslims in as hideous and gruesome a manner as possible.

Why is it that the Muslim/islamic killers are always armed and the Christian are not. If a Muslim can have weapons why not Christians? Looks like its time for Christians and all NON-Islamic people to get armed and protect themselves as the Governments don’t seem too protect us.
