The motives of non-Muslims fighting back or being critical of Islam are always apparent. They’re always horrible bigots.

But the motives of Muslims stabbing people is always a mystery. No one can really be sure of what their real motives are. As Obama famously liked to say “let’s not jump to any conclusions” with the unspoken addendum “unless it’s a police officer shooting a drug dealer in a Democrat district.”

What was the motive of the latest “Allahu Akbar” shouting stabber by the name of Abdelkader? It’s a mystery, folks. We’ll probably never solve it.

French police shot a man dead on Tuesday after he allegedly stabbed five people in the centre of Marseille.

Do we really need the “allegedly” in there? Were the people not actually stabbed? Is there a mysterious ‘second stabber’ out there? Are we concerned that the terrorists will come back to life and sue?

The suspect, armed with two knives and an iron bar, tried to stab people at random and “without provocation” in a violent rampage, said Nicolas Bessonne, the Marseille public prosecutor.

According to Le Figaro, the assailant was a Tunisian man under judicial supervision and prohibited from carrying weapons.

An interior ministry source told The Telegraph that no motives had yet been ruled out but that “we must remain cautious over whether this is terror-related”.

Let’s take a microscope and closely examine his motive?

But the man began reciting verses from the Koran before rushing towards them and ignoring their orders to drop the weapons, according to Le Figaro.

It’s a clear mystery. Will probably never be solved. May be mental illness. Or the price of tea. Anything but the things he was shouting after he stabbed a bunch of people and just before he rushed at armed law enforcement forcing them to kill him.

The profile of Abdelkader D., the 35-year-old Tunisian who injured five people in a knife attack in Marseille before being shot dead by police , is becoming clearer.

“At first, I met someone kind and pleasant ,” Sophie told us. According to her version, the man, originally from a small Tunisian village located not far from the Algerian border, arrived illegally in France in 2018 from Italy via the Alps. According to her, he passed through several administrative detention centers (CRA) in 2020 before being released during the Covid period and returning to La Rochelle.

He had also been previously arrested for shouting hateful things about Jews in front of a mosque. So not a thing to do with Islam.

“The attacker spoke words, but it’s not for me to say,” France’s Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau commented Tuesday evening. “Words were spoken in Arabic.”

Words were spoken. They were in Arabic. What do they mean? It’s not for Bruno to say.

  4. The man was clearly looking for gainful employment to support a growing family. He was very nervous when he was accosted by the surly French people. He was surrounded, and cried out in his native tongue for help. What do you mean you don’t understand!! He was terrified of the stares of others. His reaction – stabbing — completely understandable. He felt overwhelmed, overshadowed, and as the British say, ‘over here’.

    The inability to understand the legitimate fears are those of the Islamic faith are beginning to become irritating.

  5. Clear mystery? People meaning journalist better own up that this Muslim attacking people was not unhinged he was doing his jihad duty, slay them where you find them, them being all infidels and Jewish people.

  10. I think I have solved the world’s problems, and they have been staring me in the face for years, and I never even realized that.
    God is purported to have appeared to Moses and given him the Ten Commandments, but to a nonbeliever, the first four commandments are without foundation.
    The following six commandments are (indeed) wise words.
    “Honour your father and your mother.”
    “You shall not murder.”
    “You shall not commit adultery.”
    “You shall not steal.”
    “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.”
    “You shall not covet.”
    Occasionally, I’ve heard the comment said to someone unruly:
    ‘What you want is Jesus in your life.’
    What does it actually mean? Do you go around trying to look like Jesus? Grow your hair long? Try to perform miracles?
    Indeed, it means to follow his teachings. Such as ‘Love thy neighbour’ and ‘Blessed are the peacemakers’. The parable of the good Samaritan is a good one, and of course, ‘Let he without sin cast the first stone’ is another one.
    If everyone in the world followed those commandments and abided by Jesus’s teachings, there would be no wars, poverty, killing, etc.
    Voila!

    • As a Hindu, I ignore the first 2 commandments. The third one is something that has been routinely common in Hindu history, so while I don’t do it myself, I don’t hold it against anyone for doing it. As for the Sabbath, there is nothing in Hindu scriptures that explicitly call for it, but there are a whole lot of do’s and don’t’s about when to – or not to – do things

      I agree w/ the last 6 commandments, although within Hindu scriptures, those aren’t as neatly organized as they are here

    • That’s nice: PLEASE FAST FORWARD TO JESUS’ teachings in the New Testament since ALL OF HIS MINISTRY was based on the OLD TESTAMENT and he came to FULFILL his Destiny as the Lamb of God.
      There are many versions of this: One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” / “What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?” / He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” …

      So the essence of ALL THE LAWS in the OLD TESTAMENT IS LOVE THE LORD and love your neighbor as yourself. and of course know that Jesus is Lord. The NEW TESTAMENT and YESHUA is the final word on this.

      Also, they should be denied decent islamic burials or grave sites. Instead, cremate them, and throw their ashes into the sea. Same treatment as Adolf Eichmann received – there would be no shrines for jihadists – present or future – to which to pay homage

    I am french and I live in Marseille and walked few hours after in thoses very same streets. Please don’t forget to mention that the attacker stabbed the owner of his previous “hotel” and his former flatmate because he had been evicted. These are important details as well.

    • Evicted or not. That does not give him the right to murder the hotel owner or his previous roommate. So, when did France lose its moral and ethical campus? You seem to by protecting this terrorist by trying to make some reasonable argument to justify the murder. Why?

  18. Self defense has and is becoming a more important part of our daily lives. The lack of prosecuting and punishment for committing crime has been greatly reduced by our liberal justice system. When violent criminals and jihadist are put back out on the streets it makes our lives way more dangerous.
