Seinfeld is right: “You will find the Jews and the idolaters the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe.” (Qur’an 5:82) This is saying that the Jews and idolaters hate the Muslims the most, but in practice, it usually results in Muslims hating Jews the most.
“Jerry Seinfeld compares ‘Free Palestine’ movement to KKK in surprise Duke appearance,” by Zoe Kolenovsky and Claire Cranford, The Chronicle, September 9, 2025:
Actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld denounced the “Free Palestine” movement as antisemitic in a surprise appearance at a Tuesday Duke event, likening it to rhetoric from the Ku Klux Klan during his introduction of a former Israeli hostage.
“Free Palestine is, to me, just — you’re free to say you don’t like Jews. Just say you don’t like Jews,” Seinfeld said.
“By saying Free Palestine, you’re not admitting what you really think,” he continued. “So it’s actually — compared to the Ku Klux Klan, I’m actually thinking the Klan is actually a little better here because they can come right out and say, ‘We don’t like Blacks, we don’t like Jews.’ Okay that’s honest.”
Seinfeld made the comments at an event with Omer Shem Tov, a former Israeli hostage who was abducted by Hamas at the Oct. 7, 2023, Nova music festival and held captive for 505 days. The event was sponsored primarily by Chabad at Duke, as well as the Provost’s Initiative on the Middle East, University centers and Jewish student groups. Seinfeld’s remarks came as part of a brief introduction to Shem Tov and the event’s moderator, N.C. State Sen. Sophia Chitlik, D-Durham….

Fully agree w/ him. In fact, Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno are the only comedians who remained comedians during the dark woke era of the last decade and a half

I, too, agree with him. No one is obligated to *like* another person or group of people. So, if you don’t, just admit to it.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Yeah, just like we openly admit to not liking muslims. (And no, I don’t draw semantic distinction b/w islam and muslims)

Devout muzzies **are** islime. I don’t draw distinctions, either.

I’ve always loved Jerry Seinfeld’s humor, love his love for Israel, his honesty on anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism originates from within Islam, the Quran, Hadiths, Sunna. Islam is a fabricated religion of lies, deception, and subversion. Muhammad does not exist!!!
Rarely says
Anti-Semitism certainly did not originate from within islam. Anti-Semitism evolved very nicely in Europe without any connection to islam. In fact islam imported European-brand anti-Semitism into its culture most recently. It augmented the dhimmi culture which had applied to Christians as well.

Genesis chapter 3 explains the origin of the hatred for God’s people.
It’s from the same *source* as islime.

I remember that Seinfeld episode where he resented another comedian converting to Judaism so that he could make jokes about Jews. When Jerry was asked whether that offended him as a Jew, he responded, “No, that offends me as a comedian” 😂🤣

Great article. It is very true that the supporters and leadership of the Gazans are happy to see their “clients” impoverished and then blame Israel.

How come muslims like the Jews (and other infidels too)? They are the worst creatures, worse than dogs and pigs.

Muslims LIKE the Jews? Since when?
dumbledoresarmy says
Above ‘rarely’ claims that antisemitism did not originate within Islam. Nonsense.
There IS a thoroughly Islamic hatred and rejection of Jews qua Jews that owes nothing to other forms of Jew-hatred.. though these days Muslims are quick to borrow themes from those other forms, and ally with other varieties of Jew-hater. Islamic Jew-hatred is hard-wired into the foundational texts of Islam: the Quran, Sira and Hadiths.
All one has to do to see this, is to read those texts, and – to see how they played out in actual mohammedan practice across history – consult Andrew Bostom’s monumental compilation “The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism”.

I’ll probably have to go w/ Rarely on this one. We saw how the Jews were overnight transformed from guests to slaves in Pharaonic Egypt, how the Babylonians persecuted them and how Cyrus II liberated them, how they were persecuted by the Macedonians under Selucus (that’s the whole basis of Channukah), and finally, their persecution by the Byzantines (something that Robert has himself lamented about the Byzantines even while writing that book “Empire of God”). So there is plenty of precedence for Judeophobia before the islamic era
On another note, if Jay Smith’s and Robert Spencer’s theories are correct that islam was created by the Abbasids b’cos they wanted a new religion to unify their empire, since in that era, they didn’t have constitutions, then it does beg the question of why target the Jews? There were the Byzantine Christians to their northwest, Zoroastrians right around them (since the capital Baghdad was near Ctesiphon and a lot of the work putting it together took place there and in Buqhara, which was nowhere near where Jews lived) and the Buddhists just east of them in Gandhara and Bahlika. Yeah, islam is rabidly against Christianity and they would, under this theory, seem to have bunched together Buddhists, Zoroastrians and Hindus all under the “Polytheists” umbrella. But it still begs the question: which Jewish kingdom/empire was a threat to them the way the others ostensibly were?

You missed my point. But I should have phrased my reply more clearly. I didn’t mean to argue that ‘antisemitism’ (broadly considered) arose from Islam! I wanted to counter rarely’s implied claim that Islam only ‘imported’ or ‘borrowed’ antisemitism from others. I was simply stating what is plainly obvious to anyone who looks at the Islamic core texts and history: that there is, right from the start, an *Islamic* antisemitism, an Islamic Jew-hatred, which is its own thing, distinct from the other varieties of antisemitism that existed both before and after the invention of Islam; and it is part and parcel of the Islamic package, it isn’t some kind of ‘add-on’ or optional extra or borrowing. Muslims are taught to hate and make war against all Infidels: but they are taught that Jews are to be extra-specially-hated. It’s almost as though Jews are the ‘ultimate infidel’, the ‘uber-infidel’. And as you noticed, that is particularly odd because there was no Jewish kingdom/ empire in existence at the time Islam was being invented… Jews existed in vulnerable diaspora communities scattered all over the place or (in their own ancestral homeland) as an oppressed indigenous minority under imperial rule. So why did the founder/s of Islam single out for such virulent hatred a vulnerable non-state minority?? Kind of smacks of a totalitarian bully mentality…
