Hamas knows that the recent declarations by so many countries at the UN that they now recognize “a state of Palestine” would not have occurred without the terror group’s attack on October 7, 2023. For that attack led to Israel’s war in Gaza — a war that Israel did not want and did not expect — and that war has in turn led to a worldwide campaign of vilification of the Jewish state, which former allies of Israel, including the UK, France, Canada, and Australia, have reacted to, alas, by that recognition. Hamas is ecstatic over what it rightly considers to be a key diplomatic victory over Israel. More on the terror group’s view of the October 7 atrocities can be found here: “‘Hamas has no regrets of Oct. 7,’ terror group official tells CNN after surviving Doha strike,” Jerusalem Post, September 27, 2025:
Hamas remains unapologetic about its October 7 attacks, terror group official Ghazi Hamad told CNN in a report published Friday.
Hamad, a member of the terrorist organization’s political bureau, survived an Israeli strike earlier this month in Doha.
The attacks on October 7 in Israel killed nearly 1,200 people, and more than 250 were taken hostage, in an event Hamad said the terror organization has no regrets about, despite the consequences for the Gaza Strip.
Hamad falsely stated in the CNN interview that the terror organization only attacked military targets and that it “never intended to kidnap civilians.” He added that the “Palestinian cause” has benefited from October 7, citing in the interview more international support in Palestinian state recognition and further worldwide condemnations of Israeli actions.
Those “military targets” he mentions were nineteen kibbutzim and a music festival, both full of civilians. And if Hamas “never intended to kidnap civilians,” then why did it not simply refrain from doing so? No one was forcing the terror group to kidnap 251 civilians from Israel.
“You know what the benefit of October 7 is now? If you look at the [United Nations] General Assembly yesterday, about 194 members opened their eyes to the atrocity and brutality of Israel, and they condemned Israel,” CNN quoted him as saying. “We waited for this moment for 77 years.”
The figure of 194 must refers to the number of countries that are members of the UN (there are, in fact, 193, but Hamad is conferring membership status on “Palestine”). About 157 of them have now recognized a “state of Palestine,” which is a diplomatic triumph. But some major countries have refused to do so, including Italy, Germany, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and, of course, the United States.
Another Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, also said that some countries’ recent recognition of a Palestinian state is the result of Hamas’s October 7 attacks in an interview with Al-Mayadeen.
Certainly the recognition of a “state of Palestine” by such former allies of Israel as the UK, France, Canada, and Australia has been the result of the October 7 attack by Hamas, which started the war in Gaza that, in turn, led to so many countries, in order to register their disapproval of the IDF’s conduct of the war, to recognize “Palestine.”
When asked by CNN if Hamad had any remorse for Palestinian civilian life lost in Gaza, Hamad made no apologies. The report also previously quoted Hamad as saying Palestinians “are proud to sacrifice martyrs.”
I wonder how many of those Gazans who died in the war were “proud” to be “martyrs.” Strange, isn’t it, that Hamas’ senior leaders show no inclination to become martyrs themselves. They are living far from Gaza, in Qatar and Turkey. And clearly not all Gazans want to be “martyrs.” 800,000 of them have just left Gaza City in order not to become “martyrs.” And many of the 200,000 still in the city would leave if they could, but are being prevented from doing so by Hamas.
CNN had also shown Hamad footage of Gazan civilians condemning the terrorist organization, the US news organization said, and noted that Hamad had “refused to look at the footage for more than a few seconds, pushing the iPad displaying the images away.”
Hamad doesn’t want to see what he knows is true: many people in Gaza are enraged with Hamas for having brought such destruction to the Strip. Some of them have even dared to be recorded denouncing the terror group. And some have joined local armed militias, such as the Popular Forces headed by Yasser Abu Shabab, that has at least three hundred men under arms, and has managed to keep Hamas out of their bailiwick in southern Rafah.
When asked about the hostages by CNN, and whether they were being used as human shields dispersed throughout Gaza City amidst the IDF incursion into the area, Hamad denied the claims and said they are being treated “with Islamic principles.” The terrorist organization had also been accused many times by Israeli officials of using their civilian population as human shields.
Of course the hostages are being used as “human shields.” That is the whole point of holding onto them. The late head of Hamas in Gaza, and mastermind of the October 7 attack, Yahya Sinwar, always moved about in the tunnels beneath Gaza with a group of hostages, under armed guard, accompanying him, their presence serving as a human shield. Hamas has long threatened the IDF that wherever and whenever it feels the IDF closing in, it will kill the hostages.
And civilians in Gaza are also used as “human shields.” That is why Hamas embeds both its fighters and its weapons in civilian areas and buildings, including apartment houses, schools, mosques, and hospitals. And it works: the IDF has made a tremendous effort to avoid hitting civilians, mainly by dropping millions of leaflets, sending millions of text messages, and making millions of robocalls, as a way to warn civilians of areas and buildings about to be targeted. The IDF has attained the scarcely believable civilian-to-combatant ratio of less than 1:1, which no other military in modern times has managed to achieve. West Point Professor John Spencer, having studied the Gaza War from its inception, has concluded that “Israel has done more and implemented more measures to prevent civilian harm than any military in the history of urban warfare.”
As for the hostages being treated well, as Hamad claims, “according to Islamic principles,” we know from those hostages who have been freed, or in a few cases rescued by the IDF, that they were subject to deliberate starvation, beatings, torture, and sexual assaults by their Hamas guards.
800,000 people have already left Gaza City out of a population of one million, thereby demonstrating that, despite Hamad’s claim, they don’t want to be “martyrs.” They want to live lives free of fear. And if Hamas is destroyed, they will get that chance.

The horrific October 7th would likely have never happened had Israel not disengaged from Gaza in 2005.
Unintended consequences, no good deed goes unpunished, etc…

Muslims believe that if they kill or are killed in the act of jihad to make Islam supreme Allah will grant them the Paradise Garden(Quran 9:111), but everyone should know that Allah is a deceiver(Quran 7:99; 8:30; 3:54, etc.). So, Muslims eagerly commit violence and terrorism for Allah against Non-Muslims(Quran 9:5, 29, etc.).
Allah’s cursed Islam, a CRIMINAL-TERRORIST ENTERPRISE and a MURDEROUS-DEMONIC CULT OF BELIEVERS, Terrorist Muslim Soldiers for Allah, continually fund, promote, and practice ideological subversion, propaganda, bigotry, discrimination, deceit, industrial-scale slavery, human trafficking, intimidation, supremacy, segregation, hatred, incitement to violence, criminality, genocide, victimhood, censorship, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law, Sharia, and in Islam’s Quran(Quran 5:14,35; 8:60; 9:41, 88, etc.).
As taught by Allah, Muslims are terrorists for Allah. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Quran 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”
MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.”

So, Hamas only attacked military targets on Oct. 7.
You know, like that military operation, cleverly disguised as a music concert, not to mention all those combat toddlers.

These idiots want total dominance over everyone and don’t give a dam who gets in their way. They will kill their own family members to achieve their goal with no regrets. The sooner people understand that and we take these muslim/islamic leaders down the safer the world will become.

Hamas has no regrets for the dead, destruction and outright misery it brought upon the citizens of Gaza when it started this current war on October 7th, 2023.
The Muslims terrorists of Hamas hide in hospitals and also station their terror and weapon centers among civilians, including children in Gaza and then have the gall to blame the Israel Defense Force when civilians are killed.
That Hamas, meaning its top dogs of that terror/murder entity and their jihadists stooges have no regrets about the sever suffering and death they caused the Gazans of all ages, including children, is explained in the Bible ,which informs its reader that there are some men who are so very callous unfeeling, heartless because they have had “their conscience seared with a hot iron” First Timothy 4: 2. {K.J.V]
For those Muslim terrorists of Hamas that “hot iron” is Islam.
