When October 7 happened, the Western world was united in horror, but as time progressed, more Western countries (all with leftist governments), succumbed to the Palestinian propaganda that Muhammad Shtayyeh echoes here.
Hamas increased the numbers of dead Palestinian civilians because they used them as human shields. They launched a barbaric war on the citizens of Israel, a war that Israel was forced to fight to save its own nation from ultimate annihilation. It’s no secret that Hamas hid its ammunition in places such as hospitals and populated areas in Gaza. Hamas wanted dead Palestinians to parade for the world to see. They also knew who their chief material supporters were: Iranian, Qatar and Turkey. Although they faced decimation by Israel, they saw it as a battle in the way of Allah, with the ultimate goal of “martyrdom.” Hamas is an acronym for “The Islamic Resistance Movement,” and Islam’s aggressive expansionist ideology is what the “resistance” is all about.
Hamas also was fully aware that Westerners who supported the Palestinian “resistance’ were their water-carrying dhimmis, easily played and swayed. They employed key terms in their war such “self defense” and “the occupation,” when in reality, they had it backwards. Israel is the country that has been targeted for obliteration since its founding. Israel is the country that is victimized. Just as Christians were conquered by the sword throughout the Middle East during the extremely violent conquests of the Islamic caliphates, Israel is targeted also. But with Israel’s sophisticated weaponry and American support, Islam failed to conquer Israel via its October 7 operation that was dubbed “Al Aqsa Flood.”
The red-green axis of evil against Christians and Jews will continue their mission, using violence and deception. “Globalize the intifada” is the goal of the Palestinian cause and Islamic cause. Palestinians are used as human shields and made out to be victims of Israel. As the Organization of Islamic Cooperation repeatedly declares, the Palestinian “resistance” is the central cause to the Muslim ummah.
October 7 was not self-defense. It was a clever and extremely brutal Hamas (Islamic Resistance) attack on Israel, which indeed became “an important chapter in the history of the Palestinian struggle.” That “struggle” has always been about obliterating Israel from the River to the Sea. Israelis are the real victims in the region, but unlike the Palestinian Arabs, Israel does not parade its victimhood.

When former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister and Fatah Central Committee member Muhammad Shtayyeh recently was asked about Hamas’ massacre and atrocities against Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, he described how he woke up on Oct. 7 to “indescribable scenes.”
But the word “indescribable” did not reflect any horror or rejection of Hamas terrorists’ murder, rape, and torture of Israelis civilians. What was beyond description for then PA Prime Minister Shtayyeh was the sight of Hamas’ success:

Asked how he would define “the Oct. 7 operation,” Shtayyeh continued to marvel at it, praising it as “daring” and “an important chapter” in Palestinian history. Shtayyeh continued to endorse the terror attack as “self-defense.” When asked whether the PA had “condemned Oct. 7,” he answered that the PA had issued a statement saying that “the Palestinian people has the right to defend itself”:
Muhammad Shtayyeh: “In a meeting held on Oct. 7, we [the PA] issued a statement, and one sentence was added to the statement: ‘The Palestinian people has the right to defend itself.’ All the official Palestinian entities, our ambassadors, our ministers, the [PA] presidential office spokesperson, and [I] the prime minister, everyone, all of us were asked one question.
The first question that every journalist and every official element opened with was: “Do you condemn Oct. 7?” And we used to answer in the same way: That the Palestinian people’s tragedy did not start on Oct. 7, that the Palestinian issue is 76 years old, since 1948, and therefore these are cumulative events, and in any case we believed that the matter [Oct.7] is one of the chapters of the struggle, and one of the chapters of the conflict.” …
Al-Arabiya TV host: “How would you define the Oct. 7 operation now?”
Muhammad Shtayyeh: “Look, the Oct. 7 operation is a daring operation, unprecedented in history, honestly, and it is an important chapter in the history of the Palestinian struggle.

I thought 10/7 murders, rapes and kdnapings were for the benefit of the Jews (and Thais and others too) as it would reduce their tortures in hell as their life were shortened or it would entice them to Islam.

Ok, I got it, if muslims attack non muslim which includes murders, rapes, tortures and kidnappings, it is always the non muslims’ fault, muslims are always the good guys.

The innocent babies, the little kids, the elderly….the concert-goers….were all the victims of evil. Not many of those attacked were able to defend themselves.
