Canada: University of Toronto professor calls Charlie Kirk murder ‘too good’; now on ‘leave’

Following the violent assassination of Charlie Kirk, University of Toronto professor Ruth Marshall posted on X: “Shooting is honestly too good for so many of you fascist c****.”

Creepy doesn’t begin to describe Marshall’s mentality, particularly in light of the fact that she is a professor on campus, imparting her views to youth.

Marshall subsequently deleted her post. According to the National Post, “the university took immediate action upon learning of the concerning social media posts.” Marshall is now on leave.

Her anti-evangelical stance is evident in her work. The University of Toronto has currently denied access to her pages in the Departments of Political Science and the Study of Religion.

Such people are domestic terror threats.

As Trump rightly stated:

Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives. Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died.

According to a survey of 68,000 college students at 257 universities, one in three students support violence against opposing speakers. With professors such as Marshall on the loose and influencing young minds, it’s no wonder.

Ontario’s premier was responding to Dr. Ruth Marshall’s X post following the political assassination of Charlie Kirk on Thursday.

“Shooting is honestly too good for so many of you fascist c****,” was what was posted on her X account just hours after the American commentator was shot and killed while speaking to students at a Utah college.

“That is disgusting,” Ford told The Toronto Sun on Thursday. “Sick people.”

This professor was not alone in offering disturbing comments following this heinous slaying. There were many bizarre responses to this evil from Canadian political and media personalities.

But the ones by the associate professor for the study of religion and political science at the St. George campus sparked much shock and disgust.

“University of Toronto Political professor on the death of Charlie Kirk: “If you’re wondering why the kids are getting so radicalized in our universities now,” posted The Pleb Reporter. “These are the vile teachers who are brainwashing them.”

It also shines the light on why many conservatives are nervous to express their views – not just for the risk of being shot or worse, as the professor tweeted, but just in terms of losing status, marks or future opportunity….

    Encouraging the murdering of those with opposing viewpoints is, at best, insane and evil.

Freedom of speech is one thing but when one goes the extra mile to show their immoral ignorance is another thing. This is NOT a teacher, this is hate mongering with brain washing techniques. Where is the humanity in adults?

    The past two days have made it clear that demons are real. They walk among us and openly admit they want to murder us. They exist, therefore, god must exist.

    I am not the only person these demons are awakening and pushing towards the light.

    They have no idea, as evidence by their continued gloating and threats, that rather than frighten us into submission, they have ignited us.

    I will be like Charlie, and stand in the face of their diabolical machinations with patience, respect and tolerance.

    I will also vigilantly report their extreme and dangerous bloviations to the appropriate parties.

    There once was a time when all people with a platform….professors, teachers, celebrities, etc….would have condemned the murder of someone giving his opinion.
    Now, too many celebrate the deaths of those with whom they disagree; and those same ones, want to keep terrorists and serial murderers alive. It’s an insane and demonic society today.

Welcome to the failed state of Canuckstan where the country’s identity is now embodied in such mindless ideology that this professor emulates and teaches to our students; it’s part of the legacy of Justin Trudeau and the collective stupidity of Canadians in general many of whom would agree with this “teacher” because they have long forsaken anything like open dialogue and critical thought in their promotion of Liberal/Marxist “solutions” and “justification” of violence to keep their evil agenda alive; Charlie Kirk was far from being fascist in that he believed in God and family and political action as a means to restore justice and peace to society; he was fighting against society’s all pervasive death cult and all that was and is anti-life, which is more than most of us have ever done or will do!

  7. We will wait to hear whether the University of Toronto has the integrity to fire her. But their doing so is in fact highly unlikely. What has been done so far is just window dressing to minimize the damage to the university itself. Some sort of “academic freedom” or “freedom of speech” consideration will ensure that this vile creature stays right where she is, poisoning minds.

    The University of Toronto was my university. This isn’t the first and it won’t be the last of my reasons to be ashamed of it today.

  8. We in the U.S.A. have 1000s of these same minded people teaching our children from grade school to college. The question is what can we do to stop them from brainwashing our children with their vinum spewed out every day? Truly, I would like to know?
    The only thing I can think of is to charge them under the Hatch Act. Then fire them ASAP. And we should classify Anti-Fa as a Terrorist Organization. And arrest those that are affiliated with Anti-Fa.

  18. Just as many before him have done Charlie gave his life for his country and culture. If you think about it that way it is a bit easier to take. We are at war with the left. Have been for awhile but most of them are too cowardly to pick up a weapon and fight us. Those types rely on the small number of crazies to do what they are too cowardly to do. And even when the crazies act out it is in a cowardly way.

  24. I can’t read these wicked people anymore. Scott Presler on Truth Social was compiling posts like this. There were so many. Again, I had to skim past because it’s horrifying and soul rotting.

    What shocked me was how many of them are teachers and also medical professionals! How can you feel any confidence being treated by someone that you know wishes you dead?

    Are we to the point where we have to ask our medical professionals their political affiliations and see their social media posts every time we have an appointment?

    I’ve always been rather hospital-phobic. I haven’t seen a doctor in probably 30 years. Thankfully, I have been so far health… as far as I know. But the Covid years and now this sort of behavior doesn’t give me any confidence!
