“‘Imran bin Husain narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: ‘In this Ummah there shall be collapsing of the earth, transformation and Qadhf.’ A man among the Muslims said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! When is that?’ He said: ‘When singing slave-girls, music, and drinking intoxicants spread.’” (Jami at-Tirmidhi 2212)
“It was narrated from Abu Malik Ash’ari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘People among my nation will drink wine, calling it by another name, and musical instruments will be played for them and singing girls (will sing for them). Allah will cause the earth to swallow them up, and will turn them into monkeys and pigs.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah 4020)
“Narrated Aisha: Abu Bakr came to my house while two small Ansari girls were singing beside me the stories of the Ansar concerning the Day of Buath. And they were not singers. Abu Bakr said protestingly, ‘Musical instruments of Satan in the house of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) !’ It happened on the `Id day and Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, ‘O Abu Bakr! There is an `Id for every nation and this is our `Id.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari 952)
“Hifazat demands end of music teacher recruitment, calls for hiring religion teachers instead,” bdnews24.com, September 6, 2025:
Hifazat-e Islam has branded the government’s decision to recruit music teachers at the primary level as part of an “anti-Islam agenda” and demanded that the gazette be scrapped in favour of appointing religious studies teachers.
The Qawmi madrasa-based group argued that such a policy would create employment opportunities for madrasa-educated individuals.
In a joint statement, Hifazat chief Allama Muhibbullah Babunagari and Secretary General Allama Sajedur Rahman warned of a mass movement if the government failed to revoke the gazette and introduce one recruiting religion teachers.
“The recently published gazette by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, which recruits music teachers instead of religion teachers, promotes an anti-Islam agenda. We will not accept any such agenda in the education system,” the statement read.
The Hifazat leaders added, “Islam prohibits the use of musical instruments, and music is not part of basic education. In a Muslim-majority country like Bangladesh, no government has the right to impose music education on children without the consent of Muslim parents.”…
“Instead of appointing music teachers, the government should recruit competent and qualified teachers to improve standards in basic education, including religious education.”…
The group expressed hope that the government would swiftly replace the music teacher recruitment rules with provisions for religion teachers.
“We do not want any confrontations to arise between Islamic scholars and the interim government,” the statement said.

Bangladesh has slipped into the dark ages and is doomed. The only way it can come out of it is by removing all the Islamists by force.

Yes Islam wants everyone to live in misery except the so called islamic leaders who will live in splender. Islam the religion of love and peace will bring Slavery, Sexual abuse of females, Violence and Murder to the forefront of the world population.

Doesn’t the Quran allow Muslim parents to kill their children without punishment? Stunting the children’s minds and souls with lack of music should just be a minor problem.
If you’re planning to raise warriors for Allah who have no empathy for infidels, cutting out music will help them be admiringly brutish. Maybe also cut down on bathing and encourage boys to remind their sisters, often, of their inferiority. How can men bring back sex slaves and kill infidel grandmothers if they have empathy for women?
My standard measurement for humans is, if they hate all music, they are both mentally ill and dangerous.
The world certainly needs more Muslim “scholars” to turn the world into a visage of North Korea with leaders killing each other over who is the most correct Caliph.(sarc) I’m betting Bangladesh stays poor and periodically violent.

Good old George Harrison, with his “Concert for Bangladesh”. He might see the irony
of his having tried to help a country ,that would bow to a mob, that wants to ban teaching music!
As his song goes “Bangladesh, what a mess.”
He was as clueless, at the time, as most Westerners about Islam.

No, actually, at the time, there was a genocide going on of Bengalis – mainly Hindus, but also Bengali speaking muslims, by the Pakistan army. Which is why he and Ravi Shankar did that concert to raise awareness about that issue. That’s one of the few times in history that celebrities have stood up for the right cause
The mistake in 1971 was India’s. They should have forced the Bangladesh government to restore all property of Hindus, and guarantee them equal rights. Maybe not annex them, but make them a stooge state, like Belarus is of Russia today. And whenever anything happened to disturb that, India should have openly and militarily intervened. It’s not like they was shy: in 1975, they moved in and annexed Sikkim. Real problem was that Indira Gandhi, India’s leader at the time, was secular and too much of a narcissist, and so didn’t look that far ahead
I don’t blame George Harrison for raising this issue. I blame the Indian government for mismanaging the aftermath

Islam has been created to take the joy out of being Human in as many aspects as possible. The lack of joy and the bleakness of Islam drives people mentally ill. How can it not?
Melodiousness is good for the growth of the brain. Maybe those wiser in controlling behaviour instinctively knew this and that is why Islam out of all systems makes sure children get desensitized from the very beginning by experiencing live slaughters but no happy music. Everyone needs to become Islaminformed!
Why don’t the scientific discoveries sing out about how enriching listening and learning what melody can do to balance the psyche?

Many Islamic factions seem to be accepting western ideology , Lets not give in to this man made false religion pagan cult that glorify Idols for example the black stone in Meca and many others

Jan–with all respect–what factions of Islam have changed Islam to accept Western values? Citations, please.

Graven, I am aware of only one – the Jadid school in the Russian empire, which is today the norm in not just Russia (Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Dagestan) but also in places like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan. It explains why those countries are much safer than, say Afghanistan, even though once upon a time, they used to be parts of the same empires – from Samanid to Timuride. I normally would never visit any muslim country, but if I was forced to pick one or two at gunpoint, I’d pick Uzbekistan or Tajikistan over any of the other 50 odd muslim countries
