Sources said on Thursday that the Taliban’s Education Ministry has removed 51 subjects from school curricula on the orders of their chief minister Hassan Akhund.
Sources said that letters issued by the ministry describe the subjects as “anti-Islamic.”
Among the titles struck from grades 1 through 12 are: “Imam Ali (may God honor his face),” “National Flag,” “Freedom,” “National Unity,” “Teacher’s Day,” “Mother’s Day,” “National Anthem,” “Women’s Rights,” “Human Rights,” “Customs,” “Humanitarianism,” “Spring,” “Jirga,” “Folklore,” “Public Prices,” “The Buddha Statues of Bamiyan,” “The Role of Social Media in Public Awareness,” “Democracy,” “U.N. Human Rights Commission,” “Peace,” and “Individual and Social Independence.”
Taliban have not publicly commented on the reported changes.
The move follows earlier revisions to higher education programs. In a letter obtained by Amu TV this month, Zia ur-Rahman Aryoubi, the Taliban’s deputy minister for academics, wrote to university administrators that 18 subjects had been removed from various fields of study for “contradicting Sharia and government policy.”
Another 201 subjects, the letter said, would be taught only after “critical review and revision” to align them with Taliban interpretations of Islamic principles….

What more could be more important than knowledge for the boys and men only.
Women will be taught the penalties of Islam should they try and go outside of the punishment box. Mothers will be the teachers to obey and not fight back, except all you have been given and be thankful.
Cattle and the dirt have more rights than women according to the Quran, men don’t tell western women that until they are married, by then they may be taken to home country to meet the family then it’s too late.

Totally. Russia got bogged down in Afghanistan which shoujld have shown us the way: Bomb from the air until it’s all rubble and never put soldiers except spies and assassins on the ground. Never let any Afghans immigrate to the US. Once it is rubbleized, declare victory and walk away. Of course we did the exact opposite of this.

The Soviets got bogged down b’cos they were trying to make Afghanistan a communist republic. As long as they were just bombing the Afghans, they were doing fine. But the other part of what Brezhnev was doing was exactly what Bush tried to do: transform Afghanistan in their own image. Which was bound to be a disaster

Might as well transform a cats into a dogs .America could not change them in the 2000s to a democratic republic ,the Soviets could not change them to a communist republic in the 1970s and the British could not make them a colonial ruled nation like India in the 19 century. Best to cut them off from the rest of the world and let them be the cave men they want to be .Maybe some Moslem majority countries will try to convert them into something else. Maybe China could spend it wealth and people trying to do what the British tried to do in the 19th century. One more example why Islam does not create anything good. Image if they stayed a country of majority Buddhist they might have advances and be will trading partners and maybe not a countries of may feudal style Moslem warlords fighting over piles of dirt and rocks.

Regarding the anti-female essence of Islam, one example of this is with Afghanistan.
For some time back way before Joe Biden gave always Afghanistan to the Taliban. An international news reporter asked an official Taliban representative about the Taliban respecting the human rights of woman if they ever did take over the land of Afghanistan again.
That Taliban spokesman answered that question asked of him about the basic human rights of females, both girls and women, he declared” We guarantee all their rights within the limits of Islam.”
All aware people who understand Islam know that the last four words of that statement has an obvious meaning.
Which is that with Islam the rights of females are very limited. As in within the Islamic view, they have little to no rights at all.
As this has been so well explained by Brigitte Gabriel in her book, entitled THEY MUST BE STOPPED in Chapter 9 of the title “Islam’s Contempt for Women” which informs its reader on page 171 “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islamic ideology.”
In addition, on the next page it further reads” Women in Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.”
The tragic and sad reality is that Islam is a religion of brutal, cruel, harsh and even, at times, murderous misogyny.

The Taliban have banned women from the university because the Islam is a religion of oppressive misogyny and their regime in Afghanistan is based on Islam with its Sharia.
The Taliban want the women trapped in Afghanistan to under the darkness tyranny and oppression of Sharia. Therefore, they ban them from receiving an education.
As Thomas Jefferson had, so wisely, declared “Enlighten the people, generally, and tyranny and oppression of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.”
