Yeah, I’m an old man and I don’t know (or care) what you kids today are listening to and calling music, but I think it would not be inaccurate to observe that for many of these “artists,” being on this ridiculous and self-righteous list is as much notoriety as they’re ever going to get, and that is likely their primary motivation.
“No Music For Genocide” is an ironic name, for there is no genocide, and here, likely no music.

MORE than 400 artists and labels have backed a campaign to pull their music from streaming platforms in Israel over the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Massive Attack, Kneecap and Primal Scream are among the hundreds of artists who have joined the “No Music For Genocide” campaign, which sees musicians’ music geo-blocked and removed from being accessed in Israel.
The coalition is urging major groups like Sony, UMG, and Warner to back the boycott, as those behind the campaign highlighted that the labels blocked their entire catalogs one month into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Launching the campaign, a statement from the No Music For Genocide organisers said: “Culture can’t stop bombs on its own, but it can help reject political repression, shift public opinion toward justice, and refuse the art-washing and normalization of any company or nation that commits crimes against humanity.
“This initiative is one part of a worldwide movement to erode the support Israel needs to continue its genocide.”…

There is no genocide in TGS. There has been a lot of Hamas cide though. I don’t even recognize any of those groups, but it doesn’t matter. Whoever wants that music will find a way to get it.

As most have written, I have never heard of any of these goons. I made myself wade through the list to find out if I had, being sure of what I thought: that anyone who would boycott Israel due to the lies being told and retold, is not someone I would have ever cared to hear.
The names of these idiots who want their fifteen, are enough to make me know they are unlikely to write, sing or play anything worth my time or a dime.
What they are doing is a good thing; and if there are muzzies in Israel who would care to hear them, too bad.
Didn’t a lovely girl from Israel, a young Jew, win some award for her singing? Or perhaps she would have won if not for the no-talent slob who interfered in the voting. Israel can make its own music with citizens like her.

The vast majority of them are third-rate, or even no-rate, because I’ve never ever heard of them. No great losses to artistry, there.
