It would have been more shocking to learn that UN reports were being taken seriously enough for large numbers of people actually to read them. The UN no longer represents human rights; nor does it even respect free societies. It has become a promoter of the Red-Green axis, and particularly allies itself with Sharia states (and primarily with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation). The UN also showcases China and Russia in its Security Council. Its Human Rights Council currently includes Nigeria (where Islamic terrorists are waging genocide against Christians), the Democratic Republic of Congo (where jihadists are also murdering innocent people), Cuba, and Mexico.
All free countries should pull out of the UN, and end their funding of it. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay into this sham of an organization that is now pleading for more money.

A United Nations report commissioned to discover ways to improve efficiency and cut costs at the globalist institution has revealed one insight: U.N. reports are not widely read. If at all.
Reuters reports U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres briefed countries on Friday on the report, produced by his UN80 reform that focused on how U.N. staff implement thousands of mandates given to them by bodies like the General Assembly or Security Council.
The former Socialist Prime Minister of Portugal said last year that the U.N. system supported 27,000 meetings involving 240 bodies, and the U.N. secretariat produced 1,100 reports, a 20 percent increase since 1990.
Overall the United Nations, with offices in 193 countries and 37,000 employees, is the world’s largest universal multilateral international organization and a well-paid haven for career bureaucrats.
Despite all the meetings, briefings, committees, and subcommittees churning out millions of words, one thing stood out for a despairing Guterres:
Many of these reports are not widely read.
The top 5% of reports are downloaded over 5,500 times, while one in five reports receives fewer than 1,000 downloads. And downloading doesn’t necessarily mean reading.
Reuters goes on to detail, Guterres launched the UN80 taskforce in March as the U.N. – which turns 80 this year – faces a liquidity crisis for at least the seventh year in a row because all 193 U.N. member states pay their mandatory regular dues in full or on time.
As Breitbart News reported, the organization cried poor and said it wants $47 billion in donor aid for 2025 as officials fear cuts from Western states in general and the U.S. after noted critic President Donald Trump’s was returned return to the White House.…

The UN supports groups like Hamas. Hamas is the very anti-thesis of what the UN stands for yet UN people not only work for Hamas but some even took part in the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre and mass rape of Jews. And then this organization wants Western countries to fund it! The UN is the most International body that demonizes Israel. Most of its Resolutions are against Israel. Not Muslim nations that subject 50% of their populations – that means women – to a lower second class in those nations based on Islam’s hatred of women in general. How can Muslim nations that make women second class citizens even be allowed to be members of the UN? And the hatred of Israel is so profound that the continuous wars against Israel by the Arab League representing UN nations never was penalized for invading Israel- a fellow UN member. That is forbidden by the UN’s own rules but nver applied to Egypt, Syria, Jordan or any of the others. And when Arab UN members threw out Jews in those areas they captured in 1948 and denied Jews the right to pray at their Holiest Site what did the UN do about that? Nothing, the UN did nothing for 19 years. Only the 1967 War of Liberation of Jerusalem and Judea allowed Jews their freedoms back. Jews were removed from Hebron the second holiest city in Judaism in 1929 before Israel was given statehood and they were not allowed back until Liberation Day in 1967. If the UN had their way, Jews would not be allowed to pray at the Wailing Wall or in Hebron TODAY! The US should leave that organization and ask it to move out of the US and then begin a real UN with Human Rights Rules for everyone, not just the favored which today means Muslim nations. If real human rights for every citizen in each country had to be in place the new UN would not be as big but it would reflect the real reason it exists. We can survive without Iran or Houthie Yemen or G-d forbid a Hamas run Palestinian state.

Personally I thought that hiring a railway engineer with financial interest in extracting oil from depleted deposits to run the Climate Commissariat would have been sufficient for everyone to stop taking them seriously, but apparently not. Hopefully learning that UNWRA employees were part of the force that committed the massacre of October 7 might make some difference. Probably not though, sadly, because stupidity rules the day.
