“Al-Suwaidaa | Video clip shows members of the Ministries of Defence and Interior execute civilian inside Al-Suwaidaa National hospital,” SOHR, August 10, 2025 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
SOHT [sic] has obtained a copy of a video showing a horrific execution carried out against a civilian inside Al-Suwaidaa National hospital.
The footage shows members of the Ministries of Defence and Interior dragging the young man and then physically assaulting him before shooting him directly.
The video shows dozens of individuals wearing hospital work uniforms kneeling during the execution, reflecting a state of tension and terror that prevailed in the site. Following the execution, the victim’s body was dragged away to an unknown place.
This video is only one example of the violations committed against civilians in Al-Suwaidaa, where SOHR has documented the execution of 401 individuals….

It is only important because HTS, in contrast with Assad, Is much less likely to partner with Iran. On the flip-side of the coin, HTS seems to be partnering with Turkey..

HTS is as much a stooge of Turkey as Hizbullah is of Iran. Assad was more of a Russian stooge than an Iranian one, and was willing to make limited deals w/ Israel (unlike his father) to avoid confrontation w/ them while he was battling the HTS types in his country
