The overall objective is to drive the Christians out entirely, or at very least reduce them to a tiny, subjugated minority, and to impose Islamic rule over the whole country. And to do the same thing in neighboring states.
“Fulani Herdsmen Kill 17 Christians in Plateau State, Nigeria,” Morning Star News, August 5, 2025:
ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Fulani herdsmen on Monday morning (Aug. 4) killed a Christian woman in a village in Plateau state, Nigeria, the latest of 17 Christians slain in the area since July 15, sources said.
The herdsmen raided Njin village at about 10 a.m., said resident Dorcas Ishaya.
“Fulani herdsmen are at it again,” Ishaya said in a message to Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “This morning at 10 a.m., Monday, August 4, they attacked Njin village in the Kopmur area of Mushere chiefdom, in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau state, killing a Christian woman.”
Area resident Ezekiel Tongs added in a message that the assailants robbed and torched properties.
“These herdsmen did not just attack the village but also carted away domestic animals from houses of Christians,” Tongs said. “Many houses have been burned down, and many Christians displaced.”
Nigerian troops were reportedly dispatched to the area.
Ishaya also said that two Christians were shot and killed in an ambush in the Bokkos area on July 15, “and their bodies burnt to ashes.”
A community leader from the area, Yohana Margif, said on Friday (Aug.1) that armed Fulani herdsmen have driven Christians from nine villages that they are now occupying….
Numbering in the millions across Nigeria and the Sahel, predominantly Muslim Fulani comprise hundreds of clans of many different lineages who do not hold extremist views, but some Fulani do adhere to radical Islamist ideology, the United Kingdom’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom or Belief (APPG) noted in a 2020 report.
“They adopt a comparable strategy to Boko Haram and ISWAP and demonstrate a clear intent to target Christians and potent symbols of Christian identity,” the APPG report states.
Christian leaders in Nigeria have said they believe herdsmen attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt are inspired by their desire to forcefully take over Christians’ lands and impose Islam as desertification has made it difficult for them to sustain their herds….

How come Trump isn’t shedding light on this? He certainly was very vocal on the killings of white south Africans a few months ago and now, hear crickets on these Christians being slaughtered..?

Trump is not a good person although he is much than Obama or Biden. He once complemented an Indonesian legislative leader as a “very good person”. The guy later is jailed for bribery.

True enough on your first statement. He burned me up on his first administration when he has some of his muslim friends come and enjoy an Iftar dinner in the White House, and also the time he had the former president of Nigeria (Buhari) on the White House lawn, and with many reporters standing around, spoke of how great this “man” was, and how much money he gives this “president” ever year (billions), and how much business they’ll do together in the future. Of course the very last thing Trump mentioned was how he wished that “man” would stop so many killings of Christians in his country (hundreds practically killed every day, in Nigeria).
Of course that “man” just smiled and gave a tiny nod. I was so furious through the whole speech Trump gave, that I didn’t want to hear a single word of that “other person’s” speech!
And it’s still online on Youtube for anyone that thinks they can stand it.

The violent and vicious Muslims of Nigeria who murdered seventeen Christians in their murderous persecution of Christians aren’t really going to get away with their destruction of Christians. As the apostle Paul had written each individual Christian is actually, in the View of God, a temple of God. For to Christians, it is written in the Bible “Don’t you know that that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” First Corinthians 3:16,17. [N.I.V.] As in “A man reaps what he sows.” Galatians 6:7.

This won’t end until Christ brings it to an end as He promised to do.
The years between 33 C.E. and 2025 C.E.(not yet 2 full days in God’s eyes) have seen much persecution of Christians and some may “give out in their faith,” but Jesus will keep His promises and “cut short the days” of the “end of the system of things” so some will “be saved.”
Those who die faithful, will have their reward in a resurrection.
I pray that the end is sooner than anyone expects.

Since the Nigerian government allows this beyond sick behavior, it will continue.

Just a daily action by Islam against Christians. It will get worse.
