Instead of beating the muslims, the Indian Hindus beating the staff of a Christian school. The school is indeed responsible for the incident, but we should remember that Christianity is a minority in India, Christians may be oppressed by the Hindus and the muslims.
Judging from the news in JW alone, the Indian Hindus seem not much better than the British in UK, acting dhimmitude in front of the muslims, but oppressing the Christians.

I absolutely have. In fact, I have lauded Hindus whenever they do attack muslims. That said, most of my criticism has been for the ruling party there, which campaigns on the claim of protecting Hindu interests locally, but at their central level, proclaim their secular bona fides. When a party talks out of both sides of its mouth, it’s worth seeing what they actually do. The fact that stories like this are commonplace, and one sees muslims bullying Hindus not just in Bangladesh or Pakistan but even in India proper should dispel any idea that this party is a pro-Hindu party
Speaking of Christians in India, there have been enough incidents of Hinduophobic hatred by Christians. You had a bunch of Kerala nuns go to Chattisgarh to convert locals, usually fraudulently. A few days ago, a 5 year old girl who used a Hindu greeting “Radhe, Radhe” had her mouth taped by the Christian school principal, and police took no action (she has since been withdrawn from that school and a Hindu welfare group has sponsored her up to 12th grade in another school). Incidents like this mushroom throughout India, which is why a lot of Hindus disdain “Abrahamics” (implying usually muslims and Christians, but normally not Jews) for hating their faith. As I have pointed out in the past, the first 2 commandments are the culprits here
And I’ve not even started w/ the genocide in Manipur, where tribals converted to Christianity over the last 50 years are running an insurrection campaign against Hindus in that state, trying to make a 50% Hindu, 50% Christian state into a Christian majority, just like Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya, where Hindus can thence be bullied
