In the UK, the Home Office Hides the True Cost of Migrants

Recently, in towns across the U.K., the indigenous British have come out in force to demonstrate in front of hotels filed with those claiming to be asylum seekers, demanding that their residents be moved. For those migrants, overwhelmingly Muslim, have been a source of crime and social disruption wherever they have been placed. And the sums spent on their housing — often expensive hotel rooms, no less, rather than tent cities — has enraged people who want them moved to much cheaper quarters or, ideally, to be deported back to their countries of origin. The immigration policy of the Labour government of Keir Starmer has been even worse than that of the previous Conservative government in its failing to adequately address the migrant crisis. …Those hoping for a policy of detention and deportation will soon be disappointed. Human rights laws can prevent deportation, and Labour reject automatic deportation for those who cross the Channel. So the migrants will still end up housed in towns and cities across the country.

There are already more than twice as many migrants in private housing, including houses of multiple occupancy, than in hotels. And accommodation like this may suit a government as cynical as this one better than hotels. Individual houses provide less of a focal point for protest than hotels, and the Home Office, working with Serco, has been building up its property portfolio for some time….

By placing more of the migrants in private houses rather than hotels, the government makes it less likely that protests will take place outside those houses. Fewer asylum seekers in one place — as hotels — make their presence less of a draw for protesters.

After the disorder last year, we learnt from press leaks that an internal government paper had said asylum hotels had “stoked community tensions” and were a “critical factor behind the summer riots.” Yet when I used the Freedom of Information Act to request a copy of the paper, the Government said while the information was held, it would not be released because ministers needed a “safe space” to think about policy.

In other words, the Labour government is determined to hide the full dimensions of the migrant crisis from the people whose taxes support all those migrants. That government refuses to release information by claiming ministers need the “freedom” to discuss their policies in private. In other words, they will “work in the dark,” while the British people continue to suffer from a political class that dare not grasp the nettle of migrants entering the UK, but instead, not only lets them in, but allows them to immediately be eligible for a cornucopia of benefits, including housing that is either free or heavily subsidized, free medical care, free education including vocational training, family allowances, and more. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of British people have been waiting for years to be put into the social housing that is now being filled by economic migrants falsely claiming to be asylum seekers.

Labour is even worse than the Conservatives in its failure to adequately address the migrant crisis. It continues to accept illegal migrants who arrive by cross-Channel boats, instead of at once deporting them. It continues to ignore the wishes of the people of Britain, who are incensed with the expense of supporting these migrants, and the denial of “social housing” to the native poor in favor of providing it to migrants. They have started to come out in large numbers to protest in front of hotels housing migrants. And they are now well aware that successive governments have been hiding from them the true extent of the migrant crisis, hoping that they can continue to keep a lid on popular outrage, while putting out misleading numbers about the numbers of migrants being deported, hoping thereby to soothe popular fears. It hasn’t worked; the rage is growing at the betrayal of the British people by those who rule over them and do little or nothing to halt the migrant tide. This fury can only continue, as the effects of that inexorably increasing number of migrants — mostly Muslims — become clear, resulting in a decline in the quality of life, as the large-scale presence of Muslims has created a situation that is far more disruptive, expensive, and physically dangerous, than would be the case without that large-scale presence.

Labour’s demise can’t come fast enough for those alarmed at the demographic changes in Great Britain. Keir Starmer has reached a nadir of popularity, not just because of his government’s failure to adequately address the migrant crisis, but because his government has made a mess in its halting attempts to revive the economy. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says all the right things about curbing migration, but when the Conservatives were in power, they were only marginally more effective than the Labour government that followed. Perhaps the voters will give their support to the Reform Party, now rising so steeply in the polls, that has made curbing illegal migration central to its policy proposals.

  1. I think the Reform Party is the Brit’s only choice, as previous political parties have been disastrous for the UK’s political health. Ya’ll need to deport the most evil civilization on earth, Islam, a civilization the leftists in the UK are in love with.

    • Both Eddie and “England Invaded” would, I think, tell you how compromised Reform has become. Any political party there genuinely opposed to muslims is a fringe party, like “Britain First” or UKIP or Reclaim. Heck, even Tommy Robinson couldn’t win an MEP seat

  2. It’s the Age of Mendacity and it’s Ubiquitous. The elites of these Forums, Organizations, and European Union are all in bed with the devil himself, the United Nations are in it too. King Charles speaks of reporting to a he, that is getting impatient on waiting for the United States to bend to their ways. Look how appalled the elites were when J.D. Vance spoke for national sovereignty, freedom of speech and even freedom to silently pray.
    They call truth misinformation, and a lie the truth. They are Lucirferians, and waiting for their place in alien rule, when the truth is, the he, Charles spoke about is, not an alien but a fallen angel getting impatient because he knows the appointed time is about to hit, and then his time will most assuredly, be short. Misery loves company, and the more souls he can have with him, the happier he will be. One thing for sure is, the one’s that go with him, turned their back on God. They love darkness, and believe the lie.
    Sadly it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Then the world will see Him come with all His power and glory. Yes, Jesus will come but not as a prophet, but as Lord of lords, and King of kings.

    Reform not concerned about demographic change, consider mass deportation impossible, admit to being to the left of public opinion.on immigration will provide no answers. This is all by Farages’ own admission.
    A ‘ one in one out ‘ policy on immigration will serve no obstruction to the take over of the UK by foreigners.
    And Reform are in bed with Islamists.

    Reform have been busy booting out right wing people from their ranks.

    Reform only lead in the Polls because Labour are hated, Conservatives despised and this leaves Reform as the only horse in the race.

      Nicol Farage has denounced Keir Starmer for announcing that he intends to recognize a Palestinian state.

      If, as you claim, the Reform Party is “not concerned about demographic change, considers mass deportation impossible, admits to being to the left of public opinion on immigration,
      and is indeed “in bed with Islamists,” please provide evidence for each of these claims.

  5. Why does the UK govt want all these Islamists? WTF is wrong with them. I understand Humanitarian laws, but I don’t think that means you have to overrun your own country with people who will a) not assimilate. b)don’t speak English c) overrun your healthcare system because these people marry their 1st cousins and have for at least a 1000 years and the genetic diseases and mutations are off the scale d) believe that women are 3rd class citizens, e) believe in raping infidels women and girls f) bring absolutely nothing cultural or academic to your country and g) give them housing and welfare benefits denied to your own citizens.
    Ya’ll fixin’ to have a civil war.

    • Look into the Cloward-Piven strategy. It was initially meant to apply to America, but it is being used in ALL Western nations as we speak.

      The basic idea is to flood the systems (welfare, economy, jobs market, housing market, etc.) with SO MANY foreigners that you completely overwhelm them, cause them to collapse, and build a globalist communist system on the ashes.

      For the UK in particular, check out FABIAN SOCIALISM. Pretty much the same idea, but done more slowly and deliberately.

    I know multiple carribean illegals that have lived in apartments and houses provided for FREE – paid in full by the British taxpayers. And they’ve been there for DECADES now.

    This isn’t new or unexpected, just another step in the Cloward-Piven strategy to destroy ALL white Western nations. And it’s working.

    We really need to grasp the fact that white people are the absolute MINORITY in the world. All Western nations can be replaced with only a FRACTION of the populations of Africa, South and Central America, and Asia.

    If we do not fight NOW, there will be no chance to fight later. It will already be too late. The numbers are against us at a ratio of about 7 or 8 to 1.

    • Ironically, 250 years later the UK could take a lesson from the American revolution when we were outnumbered and out gunned on land and sea by the powerful British Empire. It should have been a no win situation but it wasn’t.

    • The numbers were similarly against the survival of Israel – but they seem to holding their own. Maybe we should look at what they are getting right.

    • UKIP, Britain First, Reclaim and Tommy Robinson should unite, w/ Tommy as the leader of this coalition. Each party can pick which constituencies in Britain it’s strongest, and do the seat-sharing that way for every election from now to 2029
