The establishment media just saturated the world with photos of “Palestinian” children who are suffering from diseases, falsely claiming that they were starving. Now Hamas reminds us that there really is starvation in Gaza, but the Gazans aren’t the ones who are starving.
“WATCH: ‘Worse than ISIS’: Family publishes video of emaciated Israeli hostage Evyatar David,” Jerusalem Post, August 1, 2025:
Hamas published a video of hostage Evyatar David on Friday evening.
The David family has not approved the publication of the content at this time.
In the video, David can be seen crossing off days on a makeshift calendar hung up on the side of an underground Gaza tunnel.
Clips of a clearly emaciated David are interspliced with those of starving Palestinian children.
David is also shirtless, and all of his ribs can be seen. He appears to have been held alone for months.
His biceps look to be the same size as his forearms.
The propaganda video also includes clips of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir saying that no aid should enter Gaza.
It ends with a black screen that reads “They eat what we eat. They drink what we drink.”…
Former hostage Omer Wenkert said that the video proved what the hostages’ conditions were like.
“When I was with Evyatar in captivity, for 250 days underground, I saw the video, and now you all know: that’s what the tunnels we lived in looked like.”
“You all saw how he looks, the hunger, his physical condition. Hamas is starving people, not Israel. While I lost 37 kilograms, I didn’t see my captors lose a single kilo. Hamas is stealing the supplies.”…
somehistory says
It’s a wonder he has the strength to lift his arm to mark off the days. His clavicle, his shoulder bones are only covered by his skin
“he eats what we eat” is clearly a lie. Photos of the hamas members and the hamas supporters show no such bones covered only by skin.
May Divine Justice soon catch up with the monstrous sons of satan. who are doing such demonic harm..
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
Hamas must feel very emboldened when they promulgate pictures like this.
Sick stuff.
somehistory says
Jame, I believe the demons who made life for some Jews in Bible times miserable are behind all of this evil; and they, too, must feel emboldened by the seeming approval from so many of mankind..
hamas is not getting the condemnation from the world which it so richly deserves.
James Lincoln says
Yes, somehistory.
And thanks for your reply.
gravenimage says
This hostage may eat what his captors eat–but not in the same amounts.
somehistory says
Probably not the same, either. Remember the former hostage who said a piece of pita bread?
The food trucked in is a lot more than pita bread.
gravenimage says
Also true, Somehistory.
Westman says
As usual, this hostage story and photo are not seen in our state’s major newspaper.
But for protestors against Israel who know nothing about Islam…. guess the coverage.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I dearly hope he gets rescued – sooner rather than later. I’m not counting on either Hamas nor Gazans to voluntarily release him
Princess says
Israel must act immediately and begin a major operation to finish the job. The risk for the lives of the kidnapped should the IDF begins its long overdue major operation is very high, but if the IDF waits much longer, the kidnapped who have survived so far will die. It’s a lose-lose situation for Israel, but it should do everything possible and try.
Ernie says
I agree Princess . Israel should begin this operation NOW . And NO MERCI with HAMAS , PIJ , PFLP , THE Palestinian Authority etc . Crush , destroy them completely . You can do this Israel , what are you waiting for ? May HaShem protect and keep you forever !
Patrick White says
He eats what they eat, does he?
Well, well.
And we should follow suit. All Muslim prisoners in British jails should be supplied generously with bacon sandwiches and barbecued pork ribs.
Yes? I think yes!
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Absolutely
Although what I would do – give them halal vegetarian food that is expired. They can take it or leave it. That should do wonders to their health, and even mortality
somehistory says
Not regular bacon or ribs; but….salt pork and pigs’ feet. Fry or boil some sows’ ears for dessert.
OLD GUY says
Why waste good Bacon and pork Ribs on these animals. Maybe cheap dog food would do the job.
Wellington says
Hamas adherents are the equivalent of Nazi adherents, including the worst Nazi adherents, i.e., the camp guards at the death camps.
And yet foolish, exceedingly foolish, men like Carney of Canada, Starrmer of the UK and Macron of France are ready to recognize a Palestinian state, which will only reward Hamas and the barely better PA.
Again can be seen that evil is not the chief problem for mankind. No it is not. It has never been.
Rather, the appeasement of evil is the ultimate culprit. Never better illustrated than now while the West, led by fools, cowards and idiots aplenty, continue to suck up to Islam “at its finest” and as represented by barbaric Islamic rogues (excuse the redundancy) such as Hamas and the PA.
I despise Islam but I despise even more those in the West who have caved to the worst religion of all time. Yes, the worst fault lies not with evil but with cowardice and stupidity before the face of evil.
Barbara D. Martin says
Such a strong, damming statement of the evil of the “civilized” west! Appeasement NEVER worked; Britain should look to the failure of the disgraced Neville Chamberlain. Thank you for your comment; I shall share this.

A victim in Gaza who is *really* being starved…
tgusa says
I have seen pictures of Jews looking like that before watching the History channel. You can see them in books and magazines of the past. Images such as those I thought were confined to a never to be repeated different time. That’s what I thought.
somehistory says
I too have seen them in books, magazines, documentaries, and have read of personal experiences of those who managed to survive. “Never again” didn’t really last all that long.
tgusa says
If you are willing to do that to another human being I question whether you deserve to be called human. Killing someone right away is more compassionate than forcing them to live on and on through it. Those that survive it I have great respect for but at the same time I feel sorrow for them. The memories never go away.
I have always believed that (if you have to) it is best to go down fighting right at the moment (you only have a moment) rather than the alternative.

My mother was a young girl in Mississippi during WWII. She recounted a story about her in the backseat of a car encountered a road crew that didn’t quite make sense to her. When she grew older and thought about that time she realized it was German prisoners of war that she saw. Well fed, well treated.
dumbledoresarmy says
This is absolutely appalling.
And people need to remember: the testimony of those hostages who were released, and those who were rescued, in the early stages of this war against Jihad Fortress Gaza, tells us that they were being starved from the begining, by their captors; that they ALL saw their captors – whether hamasniks or Gazan ‘civilians’ -eating more and better than they – those Jewish captives – were getting.
One girl had to cook for the family that was holding her prisoner. They weren’t starving at all.. but they gave her very little food.
All the hostages lost weight, right from the start, long before anybody began claiming that ‘children in Gaza are starving’.
Hamas began mistreating and abusing their Jewish captives, tormenting them sadistically in every imaginable way – sexual, psychological, physical, including by starving them and limiting the amount of (poor quality) water that they got, from the VERY BEGINNING.. FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY they were dragged down into hell.
Geert Wilders nailed it, just now, in a stunning post on social media – ‘Victims Don’t Hold Hostages. Savages Do’.
skeptiker says

Where have we seen pictures of emaciated Jews before?
dumbledoresarmy says
This made me absolutely furious.. furious with the diseased sympathies of those non-muslims in the western world… some of them, alas, within the Christian church (!) …. who weep and wail for the Hamasniks and their human shields (many of those human shields being very willing and eager to act as such, because of the Islamic teaching that if you die while waging Jihad you get special kudos from ‘allah’ and can even get your family members exempted from the much-feared ‘torments of the grave’)…. and have not one word to say on behalf of Evyatan and the many other Jews of Israel who were kidnapped – not on a battlefield, but from their homes or from a dance-party – and dragged down into hell, to be used as bargaining chips.. but ALSO to be beaten, tormented, starved, and used to wage psychological warfare, to twist knives in the hearts of their families and friends who are forced to see them suffering like this.
The Hamasniks are NOT starving like this, I would bet my boots. I bet NOT ONE Hamasnik is as skinny as this.
The Israelis should take pictures of the Hamasniks that they have most recently captured, and publicise them. For I bet that every single one of them – caught on the battlefield, where they were strong enough to carry heavy weaponry into battle – is NOT frail and thin and at death’s door from starvation… not like this poor young man for whom I weep and on behalf of whom I rage. I was in church this morning. We sang the hymn that has the line ‘bread of heaven, bread of heaven, feed me now and evermore’ and as i sang I was thinking of Evyatan and crying out to God – to his God and mine – FEED HIM! DELIVER HIM! Show the IDF where he is and make it possible for them to rescue him!
