There’s no ‘civil war’ within MAGA over Israel. There’s only leftist infiltration.
The media has taken to claiming that there’s a “civil war” within MAGA over Israel. In reality, 78% of Republicans supported Israel’s strikes on Iran and 71% support its war on Hamas. The “civil war” was manufactured by media hacks, hoping conservatives will adopt their support for Islamic terrorists, and social media influencers who are in the pay of Islamic interests.
And the most revealing thing about the fake “civil war” is that those trying to get MAGA to go left on Israel rely on leftists to tell them what to believe about Israel. Tucker Carlson’s leading anti-Israel guests include Jeffrey Sachs, a UN official involved in the 2030 Agenda who had received millions from Soros and who denounced Trump and called ‘America First’ “Idiocy”, and Glenn Greenwald, a socialist living in Brazil who attended Marxist-Leninist conferences, defended Hamas, and hailed AOC’s ‘Tax the Rich’ dress as “revolutionary and subversive.”
Most recently, Tucker brought on Ana Kasparian from the leftist Young Turks podcast, headed by Cenk Uygur, a Turkish leftist Muslim, who used to defend socialism before announcing she’s now “unaligned”, to lambast Israel. Nothing says America First like leftist Young Turks.
The latest Turning Point USA conference featured a debate over Israel between Josh Hammer, a longtime conservative figure and Dave Smith, a ‘libertarian’ sidekick of Joe Rogan, who had ranted that President Trump was a war criminal who should spend the rest of his life in jail. Rogan, a former Bernie Sanders supporter, recently came out in favor of a government income.

The recent attacks on Israel by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and others similarly rely on believing leftist propaganda from the media. But if we’re supposed to believe the media when it peddles its latest famine hoax (after previously pushing famine hoaxes in Yemen and Afghanistan), why shouldn’t we believe it when it pushes those same lies about ICE?
The same media sources inventing fake starving kids in Gaza are the ones who were pushing the “kids in cages” on us at the border. And for the same reason. They want Americans and Israelis to surrender and stop fighting the invasion. And they’re using the most obvious button-pushing ‘won’t someone think of the children’ hoaxes and lies to force us to surrender.
If we’re going to take our morality from fake media human rights outrages, America First is going to survive for approximately 5 minutes before bowing to the bleeding hearts.
That is what happens when you accept the morals and rhetoric of the Left. And some on the Right appear to be willing to accept leftists as the arbiters of morality to a surprising degree.
Sohrab Ahmari, who retweeted Anat Saragusti, an Israeli leftist extremist, argued in an essay that “today, it is they — the Israeli left — who carry the Jewish conscience, who grasp all the dimensions of Jewish moral responsibilities.” This argument is the same one being made by the New York Times. It is the quintessential liberal argument for surrender in America and Israel.
What Ahmari was really admitting was that there is no conservative case against Israel, only a leftist one. To attack Israel is to uphold the moral supremacy of the Left and to exit the right.
In his essay, Ahmari pays tribute to the “birthright of Jewish universalism” and complains that Jews in Israel are trading “universalism” for ‘ethnic chauvinism’ by fighting to defeat Hamas. A true universalist wouldn’t fight for his nation or people, he would only fight for universal principles, and stop fighting the moment universalism and national survival are in conflict.
That is the position of the Israeli Left, the American Left and the position of national suicide.
This isn’t a conservative argument. Rather Ahmari is cribbing from Peter Beinart and the kind of Jews who tended to surround Obama. The implications of upholding a suicidal universalism over national self-preservation go beyond Israel’s battle against Islamic terrorism.
As Dave Smith recently argued, “you cannot be pro-life and pro-war.” If we adopt that leftist universalism being hailed by Ahmari and Smith, and accept that national interests don’t matter and the life of an Islamic terrorism is of as much value as an American terror victim (and it goes without saying an Israeli terror victim) then pacifism becomes the only moral position.
And we might as well surrender now and take our mandatory beheadings in good humor.
America and Israel are both fighting against ‘universalism’ for our rights as nations and peoples, against the moral relativism that equates the lives of our citizens with the lives of our enemies. If we cannot put our own people and our nation state first, then we have already agreed to die.
That is everything America First stands against. It’s everything Trump stands against.
Using the false flag of opposing ‘endless wars’, radicals are trying to sneak their anti-American position into the MAGA tent. They’re trying to trick MAGA into accepting a universalist position on Israel and then on America. Israel is the canary in the coal mine here. If we accept that Israel has no right to fight back against the Islamic Jihad, we will eventually accept that we can’t do it.
And not just Islamic terrorism, but anything at all. Including illegal aliens invading our border.
On Oct 7, Israel asked the question whether its nation has the right to exist. It didn’t ask it with aimless philosophy, but with military force. That’s the same question President Trump asked when he rode down that escalator. That’s still the same question being asked today.
The Left believes that every non-western nation, no matter how ruthless, genocidal or evil, has the right to exist, and that no western nation, no matter how liberal, has that same right. Many European nations are now ruled by those dedicated to their own national destruction. That is why the UK’s Starmer regime has taken to locking up anyone who mentions the Islamic invasion of the UK, why police forces monitor social media and why it silences journalists.
Only the worst kind of fools believe that the Left cares about the human rights hoaxes it puts about on ICE, Israel or mass migration in Europe. The same Left that whines over Poland’s border security or how much food is in Gaza also covered up the mass rape of British girls by Muslim sex grooming gangs, the cartel invasions of America and the mass murder of Israelis.

The First Commandment of the Left aimed at the Judeo-Christian world civilization is “Thou shalt not exist. Thou shalt commit suicide. Thou shalt allow your enemies to overrun you and destroy you.” The Second Commandment of the Left is “Thou shalt tell any lie to weaken the moral resolve and the courage of the defenders of civilization and get them to surrender.”
Democrats allowed the Left into their party and committed political suicide. Now leftists and their enablers are trying to sneak the same corrupt ideology into the Republican Party, the conservative movement and MAGA under the guise of leftists who claim to be ‘anti-woke’ but are just as committed to the destruction of America. You cannot be MAGA if you support America’s enemies. And you cannot be MAGA if you don’t believe America should exist.
The anti-Israel movement is also an anti-American movement because it’s a leftist movement. And there can be no compromises and no common ground with the Left. As generations of college students becoming radicalized on campus showed us, when you accept the premises of the Left, you become the Left, and then you become the enemy of everything you believed.

n June 29, 2025, I attended a church service at St. Moses the Black Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. St. Moses is an Antiochian church, also known as the Church of St. Peter, and harkens back to ancient Antioch, Syria (now Antakya, Turkey)—the birthplace of Christianity.

The most dramatic event in this modern period of martyrdom took place just a week before, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, when at least 25 Christians were killed and 52 injured when an attacker fired an automatic weapon into the Mar Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Damascus during the celebration of mass and then set off a bomb inside the church.

Syrians are calling this the worst attack upon a Christian church in Syria since 1860. This is saying a lot because, during the Western regime-change war against Syria from 2011 to 2025, there were numerous assaults upon Christian churches throughout Syria.
The latter were committed by the very forces which have now come to power in Damascus. I have visited ancient Christian churches in places like Homs and Maaloula, Syria, which were violently attacked by a mix of extremist groups—including the Al-Nusra Front of al-Qaeda which was rebranded as HTS and now rules Syria—during the war.
It was the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) of Bashar al-Assad and Hezbollah, which had successfully defended these churches from destruction. But, of course, with the overthrow of Assad, there is virtually no protection for these churches.

A Massacre Foretold
While shocking, this type of anti-Christian violence should not be surprising given the very explicit goals of the al-Qaeda forces now ruling Syria. As far back as 2012, the U.S.’s own Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) stated it clearly: The Western allies in Syria were backing al-Qaeda to overthrow Assad, and that the goal of al-Qaeda was to establish a radical religious Califate in Syria. And this is exactly what the rebranded al-Qaeda government has done.
Thus, as the non-profit group Global Christian Relief—an organization founded to protect persecuted Christians around the world—has reported:
In March 2025, interim president and militant Islamist Ahmed al-Sharaa signed a constitutional declaration placing Syria under Islamic rule for five years. Tragically, religious minorities, including persecuted Christians, have been targeted or affected by violence in Syria from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the Islamic militant faction that al-Sharaa once commanded:
“Syria had long been under the reign of Bashar al-Assad. Although he committed many human rights violations during his time in power, Syrian Christians and other persecuted religious minorities in Syria found relative stability and predictability under his authoritarian rule. When I visited Syria in January 2025, the new al-Qaeda government had yet to fully show its hand. While there were acts of persecution against religious minorities, they were limited in number and scope, allowing the new government some plausible deniability for what was happening. Accordingly, many Syrians, while concerned, were taking a wait-and-see attitude about the new regime, which was careful to go slowly with its extremist plans to curry favor with foreign governments.
But once most of the world had accepted the new regime and promised aid and an end to sanctions, and once the Western press corps had left town after their obligatory photo-op with the Sednaya Prison, the new government decided it could fully reveal its hand and begin its terror in earnest without international reprisals.

At that time, the Vatican estimated that 4,700 people had already been killed since the fall of Assad and that any doubts about the nature of the new government had now been put to rest. As the Vatican representative in Syria was quoted as saying, “the few certainties that existed [under Assad] are now gone.”
I personally know a number of Syrians, first hopeful and even excited about the fall of Assad, who are now realizing that the new regime is much worse. In Syria, it is now the time of much grinding and gnashing of teeth

I remember sporadically watching Tucker on CNN in the 90s, when he was on Crossfire. There, he’d offer a very weak defense of Conservatives (unlike his FNC firebrand monologs in 2020 against BLM & Woke racism against Whites). Her organization, she noted, had never operated in Syria prior to this year but said her organization “got an urgent call from a hospital from Sweida, and they needed basic medicines, surgical care, ICU medicine and equipment, first responder equipment and masks for morgue workers.”
The Fellowship coordinated with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to deliver medicine and equipment to Sweida. Eckstein said her group supplied “retired Israeli ambulances to Syria so the locals can operate them.”
The majority Druze city of Sweida was a focal point of the siege executed by Syrian Islamists loyal to new President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, a former member of U.S.-designated terrorist movements, al Qaeda and the Islamic State.
According to Christian Broadcasting Network, Christians were also targeted. Islamists reportedly murdered Khaled Mazhar, pastor of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Church in Sweida, along with 11 family members. An additional person survived the massacre of Christians because the Islamists thought she was dead.

In July, Israel launched military strikes against the largely Bedouin forces on their way to the southern city of Sweida to stop the massacre. Israel also attacked the Syrian Defense headquarters in Damascus to halt the bloodshed in Sweida. Eckstein added that at least “26 Druze villages were fully burned.”
Since Fox News Digital’s interview with Eckstein, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported at “least 30 villages were damaged by arson and destruction.”
Eckstein said the Fellowship first provided aid in Syria in April when Druze in Syria were targeted and killed.
“When we provided 1.500 food boxes to the Druze within 13 kilometers of Israel’s borders after the massacre in April, two days later Islamists burned boxes of the Fellowship,” Eckstein sid.
Israel and Syria do not have diplomatic relations. Syria is considered an enemy state because it has launched multiple wars against Israel since the rebirth of the Jewish state in 1948.
Eckstein said the Fellowship is “operating in enemy territory, and Jews and Christians are providing life-saving aid. Islamists don’t like it. We would like to see that it is in the Syrian government’s interests to receive aid and hope that more goodness will be brought to Syria.
“Now, Jewish people are standing with Christians who are being persecuted in Syria. It is really important to highlight that this is a case of good versus evil and is not just limited to Syria. It is important for Jews and Christians to stand together regarding Judeo-Christian values that sanctify life.”

TRUMP SIGNS ORDER LIFTING SANCTIONS ON SYRIA
Safwan Marich of the Israeli Druze community runs the Fellowship’s Emergency Response Center and told Fox News Digital that, in the Sweida region, “tyhere is a genocide going on. This needs no further explanation, especially for the Jewish people.
“Once the residents of the deserted village come back, they will understand the magnitude of disaster. Women were kidnapped by jihads, and children were kidnapped and missing.”
Marich has been in contact with his fellow Druze in Syria.
“This war is religious in essence,” he said. “There is a video of Daesh [Islamic State] going to one of the villages asking, ‘Are you a Druze or Sunni?’ And he answered that he is Syrian. He asked him again, so he answered Druze, and he was shot in the middle of the street. It is obvious there is a religious motivation behind this event.
“It is important for me to help the Druze because, first and foremost, I am a Druze. The Druze people are not aggressive and hostile, but they will not sit idly by when they are attacked. We have in the Druze tradition a commandment to help our brothers. To come to aid of Druze community wherever it might be in the world.

Marich also noted he is Israeli, and the other day a Druze officer was killed in Gaza. Twelve officers from the Druze community have been killed in Gaza since the war began.
“They died defending Israel and the Jewish people. We have an expectation that Israeli society will come through and stand by Druze community, and so we can defend our brothers in Syria. The state of Israel cannot afford to have Daesh on its borders and in the Golan Heights.”
He pointed to the example of Hamas on the border and its growth as a military danger over the years as a warning about radical Islamists gaining a foothold on the Syrian-Israeli border.
