Buttigieg is a 2028 frontrunner.
According to some polls at least, ‘Pete’ Buttigieg, the failed mayor of South Bend and failed Secretary of Transportation, is the frontrunner for the 2028 nomination. Buttigieg’s only real asset, apart from some die-hard donors who believe making him president will be an Obama moment, is his slickness when answering questions. It’s what kept him around in the debate. But when he was asked about Israel, Buttigieg tried to play that same game, comparing Israel to a “friend” who needs “direction”. The Left wouldn’t stand for anything short of a declaration that Buttigieg was anti-Israel.
And he gave it to them.
Buttigieg announcing that he’s for an arms embargo on Israel and he would recognize an Islamic terrorist state in Israel.
That’s not surprising since the last time he ran, Buttigieg had endorsed ending aid to Israel. The media is making this seem like a big win and a pivot to build momentum for a fundamental anti-Israel shift by the Democrats.
In his foreign policy address, he falsely claimed that “the Netanyahu government is turning away from peace” and warned Israel, while, referring to himself in the third person, that “President Buttigieg would take steps to ensure that American taxpayers won’t help foot the bill.”
But there’s no question that the shift is underway. Most Senate Dems voted for an arms embargo on Israel. Pro-Israel voices among Democrats have virtually gone silent. The Left has shifted the Dems into their radical positions on so many other issues and is doing it also when it comes to the Jewish State. And no matter how many anti-Israel positions, the Dems adopt, it’s never enough.

I wouldn’t worry about him: I doubt that he’s a frontrunner. I think it’s more likely to be AOC. Not b’cos she’s a Marxist, but rather, b’cos she’s attractive (no point denying that) and she’s active on TikTok. People particularly Dems won’t listen to what she says: they’ll just gawk at her, unless someone more attractive emerges on the scene
One thing: the ability of the party to use “superdelegates” to rig their primaries seems to be gone. Obama’s hold on the party is no longer there, and is likely to get even looser once the DOJ starts going after his associates for their role in the Russia hoax. It will be a free-for-all in 2028, and the
Democrat Socialistscommunists would have a clear advantage in that most sane centrist Libs and other center-left people have bolted the party & become independents, if not RepublicansIn short, the party’s 2028 nominee will probably make past candidates like George McGovern, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis, Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich all look like conservative Democrats, rather than the deranged Leftists that they were

AOC is probably *worse* than is Buttigieg.

You meant Butt-igieg right. Him being considered as a candidate says a lot about what’s wrong with the world.

Amen. HE is the one who should worry about Judgement Day before the One True God who loves Israel but hates homosexuality.

If she becomes POTUS (God forbid), then Israel’s relations w/ the US will be worse than what it was under Biden, but in such a situation, Israel will simply stop sharing anything w/ the US and do whatever it wants on its own terms. They could even potentially wean away Russia, which is more of a merccenary country than genuinely devoted to islam (which their inaction during the Iran bombings showed)
Point is that aside from the arms deliveries (which Israel plans to address long term by eliminating its military equipment defenses on the US), the US had no leverage over Israel under Biden. UNSC votes were unsure, and Israel was genuinely isolated, except maybe for countries like Hungary. In such a climate, countries get desperate, and Israel would have been no different: it would have totally obliterated Gaza, moved into and annexed Lebanon south of the Litani, annexed Judea & Samaria, and after bombing Iran, done whatever it wanted to assassinate the ayatollah and everybody in the Iranian government, paving the way for maybe Reza Pahlavi’s return. It’s only thanks to Trump that Iranians are still under the ayatollah’s yoke

Hopefully, Israel will be smart enough to stockpile enough weapons so when the US attacks her, along with England, France, Germany, Australia and Canada…she can bring us to Armageddon.
I did not think another Holocaust would be possible

I really wish we’d get to the point where the majority of American Jews will smell the coffee & switch to the Right. We already have people like Dave Rubin, Daniel Greenfield, Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin who are perfectly at home in the GOP. Others like Dershowitz need to start defecting as well
Jews & Hindus should both desert the Dems en masse – a party that hates both of them

Infidel,
Dershowitz was a member of the Democratic Party until September 2024, when he became an Independent.
So far, he has not taken the leap to become a Republican…

Hope he gains the nomination. He’ll get every LGBTQ+ voter and lose most of the rest of the country. His “Stay-at-Home-Mom”non attendance as Secretary of Transportation will not win him real voters who want accountability, dedication and experience instead of hiding as he did as both a mayor and a Secretary of Transportation. His nomination will make things much easier for a Republican victory. Go Gay! – Go Mayor Pete! – Go Failure!

Perhaps he should give a thought as to how he himself would be treated in that “Palestine” he longs for, or indeed, in any Muslim state where the Sharia is taken seriously.

There is no one that the dems can run that could carry the popular, let alone the electoral vote. Fetterman has a head on his shoulders, but he plays the nebbish when he comes to Congress in a T-shirt and sneakers and probably cannot be considered for this reason. All others are slick losers of politicians (Newsome) or complete idiots (AOC). I (as Rick above) would be tickled pink if Buttigieg won the nomination.
My present personal choice for the next president would be Ron DeSantis.

AOC or Jasmine Crockett are the two top contenders now. Shows you how out of touch the democrats regally are. The problem is when almost 50 % of the population is on some type of government assistance, these people will vote to keep what they call “ their money “. If yiu collect any free money from the government, except social security, you should not be able to vote for yourself , taxpayer dollars. Get off the government tit, and then yiu have the right to vote again.
