The anti-Israel stance has fast become a left vs. right issue. At the core of it is the red-green axis that opposes the interests of the West, which is established on Judeo-Christian foundations. He is also in denial about the fact that Hamas is to blame for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. From using human shields to stealing aid, no amount of abuse against Palestinians suffices for Hamas. Australia will recognise a Palestinian state in September, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced, drawing condemnation from Israel.
Albanese said on Monday that his government would formally announce the move when the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meets in New York.
“A two-state solution is humanity’s best hope to break the cycle of violence in the Middle East and to bring an end to the conflict, suffering and starvation in Gaza,” Albanese said at a news conference in Canberra.
Australia’s announcement comes as Canada, France and the United Kingdom are also preparing to formally recognise Palestine at the meeting next month, joining the vast majority of UN member states that already do so.
Israeli Ambassador to Australia Amir Maimon said recognition of a Palestinian state will do nothing to end the war in Gaza, telling the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC): “We reject the recognition, unilateral recognition.”
Israeli President Isaac Herzog also slammed the Australian announcement as a reward for Hamas for its October 7, 2023, attack on southern Israel, repeating the Israeli government’s stance on all recognition announcements thus far……

There is no genuine ethic group or race who are the “Palestinians.”
Early in the last century a anyone living in that land, Arab or Jew, who lived in that land was called a ”Palestinian.”
Only after 1964 did the Arab/Muslims start to refer to themselves , exclusively , by the word “Palestinian.”
The reason for that is that they felt that by giving themselves that title they would appear to have some kind of valid claim on that land.
Indeed, never in history was there a “Palestinian state.” Any claim to the land is an invalid and false claim.

I had to look up the new Zealand political situation, infidel. I have never bothered much with it, maybe because it is such a tiny, insignificant country. Tiny population, lovely scenery, etc. all I can say is that if a conservative government is also supporting the Palestinians and being anti Israel, which I see as the only civilised country in that area of the world, then we are in big trouble. Australia, with our 27 million population, is also a tiny little ant. China is sure to totally dominate in our part of the world. We are like tiny any, new Zealand is even more insignificant.

Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Western European countries are on track to have the same problem that Israel has with hamas but they are too stupid to recognize it. It is as if those countries have Kindergarten dropouts as leaders. Islamic history began sometime after they were born. Apart from the muslims – who are significant only in terms of votes in Western Sydney, which an unpopular Labor government needs to keep – and their chardonnay-swilling leftist allies, most people are appalled. It was Labor’s need to court the muslim vote that made them permit the awful Sydney Harbor march in favor of the “Palestinians” – you can note that Brisbane banned a similar march (because they don’t need the islamic vote). The opposition Liberal Party has said it will block the move in parliament – and their base will hold them to it. If you want to hear the voice of Australian opposition on this issue, listen to Sky News where the coverage has been unrelentingly negative. The Albanese government will go down as one of Australia’s worst: in bed with the PRC, and an unreliable ally to our historical friends.

Hamas is now getting exactly what it always wanted. Prior offers of land for a Palestinian state were turned down by the Palestinians, and one possible reason for this is that any treaty entitling them to land would also require them to recognise Israel’s sovereignty over the remainder. Now, though, they get recognised as a state by the back door, without anyone specifying what their boundaries are, so they are free to work towards trying to get all of Israel, not just part of it.
