Zohran Mamdani’s hatred of Israel goes a long way back. As an undergraduate at Bowdoin, he founded the university’s chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, a group behind many of the violent protests on American college campuses today. He opposes the idea of Israel “as a Jewish state.” He does not object to the slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” which is an unambiguous call for extending worldwide the Intifadas (“uprisings”) that Palestinians conducted against Israeli Jews — the first from 1987 to 1990, the second from 2000 to 2005 — in which more than one thousand Jewish men, women, and children were murdered. “Globalize the Intifada” is a call to kill Jews — not just Israelis — everywhere. He has promised that as mayor he would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu if Israel’s prime minister were to come to the city. Yet there are left-wing Jews who are supporting Mamdani, apparently impressed with his support of “democratic socialism,” and unfazed by, or even sharing, his antipathy to Israel.
Stephen Weiss, a rabbi in Israel, lays out what a Mamdani mayoralty would mean for the Jews of New York, in an article here: “Will the socialist, pro-intifada Mamdani make New York inhospitable for Jews? – opinion,” by Stewart Weiss, Jerusalem Post, July
…Will Zohran Mamdani ruin New York?
Alas, it would seem so. Zohran Mamdani (the letters of the last name unscramble to “I, madman”) has won the New York Democratic primary and looks to be the front-runner in November’s general election. In capturing 56% of the vote – including no small number of deranged Jewish voters, no doubt former members of the “Indians for Custer” club – Zohran clearly defeated former governor Andrew Cuomo.
Though Cuomo and current mayor Eric Adams – an outspoken lover of Israel and friend of the Jewish community – are still in the race, Mamdani is expected to win the mayoral election. He has captured the fascination and touched the nerve of the young woke generation whose members love to focus on what they seemingly don’t have as they flash their “victimized, oppressed, and marginalized” card in demanding their piece of the Apple. Without paying, I should add. These are miscreant complainers who love free things, be it bus and train rides, college tuition, or rent-controlled apartments in the best parts of town. And, of course, they rally around the Palestinian-Hamas-Iranian flags and see Israel as the epitome of racist, white-privileged (even the Ethiopian Jews, who somehow don’t qualify as “people of color”) monsters who personify everything that is wrong with society. They pretend to distinguish between Zionists and Jews, even as they seek the downfall of the Jewish state and the demise of the Jewish army, which keeps our Nazi-like enemies at bay.
What is unfolding right in front of our unbelieving eyes looks like the sequel to Sinclair Lewis’s brilliant, dystopian 1935 novel It Can’t Happen Here, whereby a totalitarian dictator systematically takes over the US on a platform of instituting dramatic social and economic reforms. Lewis’s portrayal of a charismatic leader whose campaign promise to “share the wealth” ultimately brings bigotry, oppression, and financial disaster to the nation is suddenly chilling.
While this should certainly shake every good citizen of New York – and certainly Wall Street, which has much to lose – the Jewish community is dead center of the bull’s-eye. We are the enemy….
And as the window of hate opens further, the damage will likely spread well beyond the city to the outlying Jewish outposts now considered “safe zones.” Monsey, the Five Towns, Scarsdale, Great Neck, et al. will need their own internal security forces to protect them….
A note of hysteria has crept into Weiss’ article. Why will “the damage likely spread well beyond the city”? On what basis does he claim that suburbs with large Jewish populations will “need their own internal security forces” to protect them? Why does he assume the regular police in those suburbs will not be equal to the task?
The resistible rise of Zohran Mamdani spells nothing good for the Jews of New York City, who for the first time will have as their mayor someone who is openly and unapologetically anti-Israel. The writer of the article suggests that Jews in the city don “their vagabond shoes” and make aliyah. But it may be that Mamdani won’t win, because the centrist Democrats will withhold their support of Mamdani in the hope that the “Mamdani whirlwind” will simply disappear. Or it may be, if he is elected, he will — as someone who has no experience as an executive — be so overwhelmed with instituting his domestic policies that “democratic socialism” that promises to mightily disrupt and harm the economy of the city, and cause an outflow of its highest earners, that he won’t have time for pushing his pro-Palestinian agenda. Besides, as the city’s mayor he can emote, but he has no real power to affect foreign policy. Jews of New York, don’t pack your bags yet. And you don’t have to go to Israel to find a refuge from Zohran Mamdani. You can move, instead, right across the state line to Connecticut or New Jersey, and be safe from his malign mayoralty.
Wait and see what happens in November before packing your bags. Each new revelation about Zohran Mamdani’s economic and political views, and those of his father (who has claimed that Abraham Lincoln’s instituting reservations for native Americans supplied a model for Hitler’s concentration camps) chip away at his support. His victory in the Democratic primary was a surprise. Now, I suspect, his defeat in the general election will be another.

The terror-supporter’s hatred goes back further than his college days. It goes back to his birth in Africa. From birth, his terror-suppering father has been teaching, inculcating, that hatred since the arrogant goon was born.
A person with that much hatred, and as a mo, he must hate Christians and all infidels, can do no good for a city.

This A.M., I discovered that Momdani has two X feeds – one is primarily for political self-promotion to bolster his mayoralty ambitions, but the other is almost exclusively a platform to advertise and attempt to validate what turns out to be his monomaniacal hatred of Jews and Israel. I counted at least twelve such tweets posted by him in less than 24 hours. Among them was a post declaring that it is a mainstream Jewish teaching to spit upon Christians; another cited professional antisemite Nicholas Fuentes as an authority. The tweets of this kind seem to just keep coming – Mamdani’s hatred of Jews is boundless and obsessive. He must not only be defeated in the election, but his ties to communist and jihadi groups should be reasons for denaturalization and deportation. The same may be said of his father and perhaps (and, hopefully) his Islamopandering mother as well. Good riddance to the lot of you.

If there is any Justice, he and his family lot will be removed.
I read where Tulsi Gabbard is calling for bo and his ‘thugs’ (Mr. Trump’s word for them) to be prosecuted. Perhaps he could be removed from the country as well.
I won’t hold my breath, but I keep hope alive.

If Mamdani wins in the general election I’d like to be among the first to welcome New Yorkers to join me in the Sunshine State. If you come , please leave socialism back in your NE digs.

If any of them voted for this slug, they can stay out of Florida. Perhaps if he *wins,* all of the mo’s in Florida will leave for NY.

I want New Yorkers to stay out of Florida. I saw Andrew Cuomo threaten to move to Florida if Mamdani wins: why? Mamdani would only run NYC: why can’t Cuomo instead move to Albany (where he previously lived), Buffalo, or even move to New Jersey or Maryland?
somehistory says
Absolutely, Infidel. I want them **all** to stay out. No cuomo is welcome. He can move to chicago and run for mayor there.

No worries. My family will take our money and go elsewhere. Florida has too many anti-semites for us to feel comfortable

In all my years of living in Florida (where I and my great, great grandparents were born) I never met anyone who had anything bad to say about Jews.
But, you have made a great choice.

His father is of the same ilk as Obama’s Communist father. Remember his love of the Islamic call to prayer?
Let’s hope that the two independents band together for the sake of the city. If they don’t, it’s proof of each man’s hubris and lack of patriotism.
Thomas Black says
The NYC general election does not use ranked-choice voting. There are also no runoffs. If either of those two voting systems were in place, Mamdani would lose. None of Mamdani’s three main opponents seem to be willing to drop out of the race. Given the current landscape, Mamdani will likely win with 35–40% of the vote.

All one has to do to determine the failure of “democratic socialism,” national socialism, islamosocialism, or any other type of socialism is to contrast how well the leaders live with how their followers live.

So did the Jews in New York finally find a democrat they won’t vote for.

Mamdani is the embodiment of the two primary factors which are destroying our nation and Western civilization: the indoctrination of the youth by our education establishment and the large Muslim influx we have permitted. In fact, after 911 instead of reducing Muslim immigration, it has been allowed to increase. Their large numbers particularly in certain areas of the country have reached the point that politicians of both Parties, including Trump must try to appease the Muslim voting bloc. One result is that it is no longer possible to have any type of targeted “Muslim ban” in immigration.
The only way to save our civilization here and keep us from going the way of Britain and the rest of western Europe is a complete immigration moratorium, a time out for at least several years
followed by extremely small and well vetted numbers designed in such a way as to effectively exclude Muslims.
We have been warned about mass immigration for many years by those at FAIR, CIS, Numbers USA etc. This dire situation is our fault and not that of the immigrants. The first thing that must be done is to put aside irrelevant psychologically crippling thought. Any time such a reduction is proposed there are always the following objections raised. In any discussion of illegal immigration, we hear: “But I know a very skilled mechanic who has been here illegally for many years”. Or “I know a maid or gardener who are here illegally but are really nice people”. Such objections are irrelevant in dealing with the current crisis. Then there is something we constantly hear “we are a nation of immigrants and illegal immigration should be stopped but legal immigration is wonderful.” Yes, we are descendants of immigrants, some quite recent, but times have changed; we should stop being like the proverbial general who is always “fighting the last war”.

Jihad never goes away or dies. They play the long game. Look at how their community had grown, flourished, and is being protected in USA, (and all over the world).
9/11 was the most brilliant and successful gambit in history. No community in the world has become more protected and continues to get more concessions than islam,

Ploome, I have come to realize that 9/11 was done exactly for that reason

With all due respect, I must disagree with Hugh.
If Mamdani is elected and even if he is too overwhelmed to be Head Anti-semite, he still sets the tone for hatred of Jews to thrive here.
The mayor here in NY has a great deal of control over the NYPD and can tell them to let up on the pro-Hamas “protestors” or to crack down on them. (During the Peaceful Protests in the summer of 2020, then-Mayor DeBlasio went around to certain precincts and personally told the COs to stand down on arrests except in cases of extreme violence, etc)
It is also highly likely that as mayor, he would appoint known anti-semite Jamaal Bowman as School Chancellor, who would have tremendous control over what is and is not taught in the public schools. He would undoubtedly have schools here use CAIR and other radical jihad “teaching lessons”

IF Mamdani wins will be a huge conquest for Islam. Mamdani speaks of fairness for all but actually it is to advance sharia law under the guise of fairness. For years Islam has invaded businesses such as banking and banking has jumped on board a full 100% to gain business however what they failed to do is uphold the Constitution.
The Constitution is very clear about foreign governments working within the united states, NO FOREIGN GOVERNMENT to operate inside of America. Islam is a foreign government, sharia law is a government. By allowing Islam to have sharia banking accounts is a direct threat to America’s own infrastructure in banking.
Islam is making itself a dominate place inside of America and that people is dangerous to the sovereignty of the nation. 2nd threat: China.
