The whole idea of veiling women has to do with removing the source of temptation for men. If a man remains tempted and rapes a woman, it is her fault for allowing him to be tempted. The responsibility is entirely upon her. Hence it is just to punish her. Once she has been raped, she is a stain on the honor of the family, which can be cleansed by murdering her. That’s the mindset.
“Pregnant teen who was raped is murdered by fiance in honour killing,” by Brad Hunter, Toronto Sun, June 30, 2025:
Teenager Oya Budak was violently raped and impregnated by her attacker.
But when her fiance discovered she was five-and-a-half months pregnant with the rapist’s child, he shot the 18-year-old to death in what’s being described as an honour killing.
The tragic teen was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest but succumbed to her injuries. Her baby also died.
According to Turkish media, Budak was raped by another man in Istanbul just weeks before her engagement. When her fiance learned of the rape pregnancy, he called off the engagement.
On the night she was murdered, cops say the ex-fiancé lured Budak to meet, pretending that he wanted them to talk. But when they met, he pulled out a gun and shot her in the chest and ear.
The suspect was arrested shortly after. The man who raped Budak was convicted of her sex attack along with several others and has been jailed….
Even her own family had not been aware of the rape and pregnancy. The accused’s family demanded that he call off the marriage to Budak. The 19-year-old accused killer has reportedly confessed.
Budak’s murder was the 209th femicide in Turkey so far this year. Women’s groups have accused the fundamentalist government of turning a blind eye to the crisis….
Femicides remain a deeply rooted and urgent problem in Turkey with at least 420 women murdered in 2024 by partners, ex-partners or other men from within their immediate circle….

I feel sad for this girl and her baby.
They are better off not being with this murderer who would likely have murdered her for some other demonic *reason.*

In Islam its always the woman’s, girl or child’s fault.

The wonder in this story is that the original rapist was arrested. Was Oya Budak so lucky as to have 4 witnesses to her rape?
Her ex-fiance – having called off the engagement, how was his honor at all affected? He could have gone for another virgin instead. It’s Oya Budak & her family who would have been stuck w/ her & her baby, so they would have had to handle her problem

I’m guessing the “others” arrested with the rapist said, “Not me! He did it!”, providing the adequate testimony.
Like you, Infidel, I am bewildered at why he wouldn’t simply move on. Then I tried to think with the logic a believer must use to swallow Islam and then, bingo! I realized there must be punishment for all perceived offense.
You see, she was at fault for causing herself to be raped and then not telling him for 5 months, right?, which reflected on his honor for being engaged to someone that “foolish” and then finding out he may have been the, “last to know”. I’m betting the “last to know” was the real motivation. Someone had to pay.

The west will certainly love to have such culture in their multi culture euphoria dream. (sarc)
The murderer and the rapist are Allah’s best people (not sarc).

I have two questions:
1) If there are so many honourkillings, are there any females left in islamic countries? Is this why they grope and rape european females?
2) Dont the islamic women see this? One would assume that they would raise their children differently.
