One correction to Robert, when he described the province of Kafiristan, in Afghanistan. It was a remote area independent of the Afghans until the 1890s, when an Afghan amir Abdur Rahman Khan conquered the area and converted it to islam, then renaming it Nuristan. There is no Kafiristan today, so Dave could indeed get it started here
Kafiristan was actually a part of a larger area that included parts of what’s today north west Pakistan. The people in question here are the Kalash, who are descendants of the Macedonian troops who accompanied Alexander the Great on his conquests of west Asia, getting up to India. When Alexander left, some of his troops remained and settled there, and their faith became a fusion of Hellenism and Hinduism. Today, that religion is considered a sect of Vedic Hinduism, but only has that handful of followers in Pakistan: there are none in India proper

When you talked about the practice of humiliation you mentioned the gangs in the UK, but you forgot to mention October 7th. Same playbook.

The guy blaming evrything on soccer just show yet again how stupid and bereft of intellect these Islamic leaders are. They make these bizarre claims all the time.

And never mind that, generally speaking, nations with big soccer followings are not backward–it is possible to be well educated, innovative, and even well off–*and* a big soccer fan.
By the way, my husband–all of the above–also covers soccer games here for several leagues and sites. This has never held him back.
