Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), is member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, headed by a no-nonsense chairwoman, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-Va.). It was Stefanik whose relentless questioning in December of three university presidents — Claudine Gay of Harvard, Sally Kornbluth of MIT, and Elizabeth Magill of the University of Pennsylvania — led to the public shaming of all three and the resignations of two of them.
At the latest meeting of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, another three university leaders — Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, the chancellor of the City University of New York; Robert M. Groves, the interim president of Washington, DC’s Georgetown University, and Rich Lyons, the chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley — were subject to questioning about antisemitism on their campuses. I’ve never known antisemitism to be so rife in the western world as it is today, it is the worst its been since the days of Adolph Hitler. We have allowed an awful amount of foreign influence into our higher education system. It all begins with donations from foreign countries and individuals to the endowment funds of the Universities and Colleges. That money promotes influence on students through propaganda being spread on campus. The muslim/islamic countries have used that system to spread antisemitism across America to our young adults. As the saying goes always follow the MONEY.

But, the problem resides with tax supported institutions like Rutgers, Wisconsin, UCLA. Cut their funding.

I think Trump mismanaged his picks by picking both Gaetz and Walz for his cabinet, as well as Stefanik. Instead, he should have left them in Congress, and just picked Stefanik. She may have returned to her seat now, but next year, she plans to run for governor against Hochul, so her seat will be up for grabs again
