Netanyahu: France’s plan to recognize ‘Palestinian’ state ‘rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy’

A “Palestinian” state will be another jihad base for renewed attacks against a diminished Israel. If Macron really doesn’t know this, it is because he is drunk on the “Islam is a religion of peace” delusion.

France intends to recognize a Palestinian state in September at the United Nations General Assembly, President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday, drawing an immediate rebuke from Israel.

Macron, who announced the decision on X, published a letter sent to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas confirming France’s intention to press ahead with Palestinian recognition and work to convincing other partners to follow suit.

“True to its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine,” Macron said.

“I will make this solemn announcement at the United Nations General Assembly next September.”…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Macron’s decision, saying that such a move “rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy.”

“A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a launch pad to annihilate Israel — not to live in peace beside it. Let’s be clear: the Palestinians do not seek a state alongside Israel; they seek a state instead of Israel,” Netanyahu said in a post on X.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz described the move as “a disgrace and a surrender to terrorism,” adding that Israel would not allow the establishment of a “Palestinian entity that would harm our security, endanger our existence.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar condemned Macron’s “absurd and unserious” decision that Paris will formally recognize a Palestinian state….

“Israel’s attempt to base its security on Palestinian promises to fight terror failed entirely in the Oslo process,” he continued, referring to the 1990s peace initiative between Israel and the Palestinians that sought a two-state solution. “Israel will no longer gamble with its security and its future.”

In a diplomatic cable in June, the United States said it opposed any steps that would unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state even saying it could go against US foreign policy interests and draw consequences….

  1. Never count on France. It’s a fool’s errand. Possibly work with France at times but NEVER count on it.

    Yes, occasionally France can stumble into the truth, e.g., supporting America in the Revolutionary War, though even this done first and foremost because of France’s traditional hatred of Britain and because it had recently lost its North American colonial empire to Britain in the French and Indian war, 1754-1763, and wanted revenge.

    France has bungled so much over its history. Its utter collapse in a very short time in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871) and WWII (within a mere six weeks between early May and late June of 1940) serve as two examples.

    Has France produced a wonderful and sophisticated civilization over the centuries? Certainly. From Gothic cathedrals to Impressionist paintings and so much more. But, in the final analysis when analyzing political, diplomatic and military matters, France has been deficient and should never be relied upon, as here exampled by France recognizing a clearly terrorist and bogus state.

    Yes, never count on France. Acknowledge its achievements but never count on it. And a fitting epitaph I would argue because, indeed, France looks like it is dying.

    • Last week was the anniversary of the mass round up of the Jews of Paris in early morning raids. 13,000 (including 4,500 children) were packed into the Sports arena with no food, no sanitation, nothing. For three days of misery only to end in cattle cars to Auschwitz and mass murder. THE FRENCH POLICE AND OFFICIALS WERE PLANNING AND EXECUTING THIS HORROR.

Fresh off of liberating France and Western Europe from the nazis the USA President Harry Truman was the first world leader to officially recognize Israel as a legitimate Jewish state on May 14. 1948 eleven minutes after its creation. In 2025 the soon to be islamic republic of France prepares to recognize a Palestinian state. The quest for a Palestinian nazi state. How long has that been going on? Decades. The two are not anywhere near the same thing. The trouble with Macron and France is they think they are important on the world stage. I dont know why.

  5. The sad and avoidable thing is if France and the UK fall to islam we are going to have to go in to secure their nuclear stockpiles. What a difference 80 years make.

    • 80 years later the similar thing would be, if we have to do that, the indigenous French and UK people would be lining the streets cheering us on. For once in a long time we would be doing something that is supported by the people there and something that matters.

That the politicians of the nation of France have every intention of recognizing such a as a “Palestinian state” is further evidence that the Muslims on the country are very much engaged on the stealth jihad with their infiltration and influence In the French government is so strong that this new policy of folly is now being carried through.

    Hamas had proven not only the its words but ,more terrible murderous actions, starting on October 7th, that it wants to completely destroy the State of Israel and even commit genocide worldwide on the Jewish people. That Hamas jihad attack and continued further Islam terror/murder attacks reveals the terrible folly and total lack of wisdom in the very idea of a two-state solution.

    Therefore, that so called “two state solution” is not really a valid idea and not a genuine solution. It will definitely not stop this awful Israeli –Muslim land conflict.

    Thus, a “two state solution” is out of the question. It’s a policy which will only escalate terrorism in the Middle East ..This is because a “two state solution” not really a “solution” but an Islamic ploy of deception , a smokescreen and hoax and a fraud.

    To put all this in another way , October7th with those Hamas Islamic terror murderous jihadist attacks into Israel from Gaza exposes that even the idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel. Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. Therefore, those “peace talks” are a hoax.

    For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. This insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad . Such sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocket attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

    Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel. For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

    First, as for that term being nonsensical one devout Muslim who, truly, proclaimed “Islam is Islam.”

The folly of the decision of the French government to recognize a “Palestinian state” had much earlier been explained of what some call “the two state solution.” in the The Epoch Times April 3-9, 2024, A-14. Which informs its reader that ”Before October 7th 2023 there was a de facto three-state solution , given that Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza were all separate states ruled by their own governments, two of which were illegitimate without scheduled elections.

    It was not Israel, but the people of Gaza and the West Bank who institutionalized the “river to the sea” agenda of destroying its neighbor.

    Israel would have been content to live next to an autonomous Arab Gaza and West Bank that did not seek to destroy Israel in their own ‘one –state solution.’

Some very decent but naïve Westerners who don’t understand the despicable loathsome character of the jihadists of Hamas, when those people of the West discover that the terrorists of Hamas are stealing the humanitarian aid sent to the noncombatant civilians of Gaza and using it only for themselves.

    Those same Westerners would be shocked and then ask “How can those Muslim terrorist of Hamas being Muslim do such a terrible unconscionable as that, to deprive other Muslim, who are not violent, of the aid they so desperately need ?”
