About that “two-state solution” that Hunter Biden claims is the only “realistic” outcome, he apparently does not know that 80% of Israeli Jews don’t think it’s a “solution” at all, but a threat to Israel’s existence. On what territory would that “solution” be built? Wouldn’t Israel necessarily be forced to give up territory in Judea and Samaria which it is entitled to keep, for three reasons: First, Jews have lived for 3500 years in that territory; it was not in Tel Aviv and Haifa, but in Judea and Samaria, that Jewish history was made. Second, the League of Nations’ Mandate for Palestine was intended to apply to all the territory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, territory that it time would evolve into the Jewish state, the state of Israel. Third, UN Resolution 242 recognized the right of Israel to keep any territory that it needed to have “secure and defensible borders.” There would be no return to the 1949 armistice lines. As the author of Resolution 242, British ambassador Lord Caradon, said: “I know the line. It was a rotten line. Much play has been made of the fact that we didn’t say ‘the’ territories or ‘all the’ territories. But that was deliberate. I myself knew very well the 1967 boundaries and if we had put in the ‘the’ or ‘all the,’ that could only have meant that we wished to see the 1967 boundaries perpetuated in the form of a permanent frontier. This I was certainly not prepared to recommend.”
On another occasion, to an interviewer from the Journal of Palestine Studies (Spring-Summer 1976), Lord Caradon again insisted on the deliberateness of the wording. He was asked:
The basis for any settlement will be United Nations Security Council Resolution 242, of which you were the architect. Would you say there is a contradiction between the part of the resolution that stresses the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war and that which calls for Israeli withdrawal from “occupied territories,” but not from “the occupied territories”?
Nota bene: “from territories occupied” is not the same thing as “from occupied territories” – the first is neutral, the second a loaded description. Lord Caradon answered:
I defend the resolution as it stands. What it states, as you know, is first the general principle of inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war. That means that you can’t justify holding onto territory merely because you conquered it. We could have said: well, you go back to the 1967 line. But I know the 1967 line, and it’s a rotten line. You couldn’t have a worse line for a permanent international boundary. It’s where the troops happened to be on a certain night in 1948. It’s got no relation to the needs of the situation.
Had we said that you must go back to the 1967 line, which would have resulted if we had specified a retreat from all the occupied territories, we would have been wrong.
Note how Lord Caradon says that “you can’t justify holding onto territory merely because you conquered it,” with that “merely” applying to Jordan, but not to Israel, because of the Palestine Mandate’s provisions allocating the territory known now as the “West Bank” to the Jewish state. Note, too, the firmness of his dismissal of the 1967 lines as nothing more than “where the troops happened to be on a certain night in 1948,” that is, nothing more than armistice lines and not internationally recognized borders.
Hunter Biden owes Prime Minister Netanyahu, whom he claims “has always been wrong,” an apology, especially about Netanyahu’s Cassandra-like warnings about Iran over nearly three decades. That apology, of course, will not be forthcoming. And if Hunter Biden were to study the 3500-year history of the Jews in their ancestral homeland, and the territorial provisions of the Mandate for Palestine, and UN Resolution 242 that recognizes Israel’s right to “secure and defensible borders,” he would come to understand both the injustice, and the folly of that “two-state solution” that he, like so many others, is convinced will cause all manner of things to be well. Instead, he ought to take careful note of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s lapidary formula: ““I think Palestinians should have all the powers to govern themselves, but none of the powers to threaten us.”

A two-state solution would be just fine under one of Trump’s earlier proposals, whereby all Gazans would be located to Libya (I say Yemen), far enough away that they cal do no harm to Israel.

You were too kind to Hunter Biden providing him with an accurate and true account (summarized version) of the ME with highlights from Mandate1920, War of Independence 1948, UN Armistice, 6-Day War 1967..Hunter still knows nothing as his father, as if he does (like the whacked out Profs who teach an impossible rendition of the ME to their non-ME studies students).

I did not know Hunter had any background knowledge of the Middle East history. His comments convey ignorance of history, culture, and facts on the ground today. Why is he even being given any air time – or print time?

That was my reaction! What in the world?! Who cares what this obscene, drug addled man has to say about anything, much less complicated world affairs?!

Hunter Biden’s lost all credibility as a foreign affairs advisor when he explained in his three hour long f bomb fueled by anger on how to actually make “crack” cocaine in detail. I also read the LAPTOP from Hell when it came out. So he can stop already now.

Anyone listening to Hunter Biden addressing serious topics is a complete fool.

That said, it’s hilarious seeing analysts say that the Dem primary of 2028 will be the widest open primary, w/ Hunter Biden right now looking pretty good
I remember during the 2020 elections, when Hunter’s work for Burisma was being exposed by the Trump campaign, how some Dem talking heads said, “Okay, so I won’t vote for Hunter Biden”. A time may come in the party when they’ll have to be held to that

The idiot media think Hunter might be running in 2028. From a vegetable president to a crack head nominee. The democrat party is truly insane.

It wouldn’t be surprising in the least if he runs, and perhaps even won , at this point. I saw the part of the interview where his cracked, numb brain actually said that crack was likely safer than alcohol due to it’s “purification process”. In a world where genitalia are removed from tweens and men are classified as women, muslims as pious and marginalized, etc. , why not legitimize crack as healthy?

Hey he will get the druggies vote. Hunter is a waste of oxygen and air time.

The best response to proposals of a two state solution is that there are already four Palestinian states. See https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2007/11/the_four_state_solution.html

Hunter Biden?! Really?! Why would anyone care about, let alone publish, this reprobate’s opinion on anything?

Hasn’t Israel offered a two state solution three times and the answer was “no” three times? This isn’t about land.

The other thing is: Judea and Samaria, the region that the book of Ezekiel – written in Hebrew long, long, LONG before the invention of Islam – calls “the Mountains of Israel” – are what any person with commonsense can see are “Military HIgh Ground”.
To hand that military high ground over to an Arab Islamic State of “palestine’ is to hand them, on a platter, THE perfect ‘launch pad’ for all manner of jihadi assaults upon the Jews of Israel.
And any western leader that, therefore, sets out to hand that high ground over to the local Arab Muslims, surely knowing at some level that such an onslaught WOULD be launched from it, should be accused of vicious old-fashioned Jew-hating sadism; of being prepared to tie the Jews of Israel hand and foot and hand them over to the Arab Muslim mobs, to be slaughtered, torturously, as were the Jews of the kibbutzim near Gaza, on 7th October 2023.
