Not yet–I looked it up, and McDonalds in France for one has generally resisted these demands for going Halal (although they have had Halal chicken specials from time to time).

Why not do the halal on him – tie him up, take a very sharp & strong knife – the ones you sometimes see exhibited at Costco or other such stores – and then cut his throat, the way muslims cut up animals? Then ask him if that’s halal enough for him

In Acts 15, the Jerusalem Council concluded that one aspect of the Torah that should be required of Gentile Christians was that we should not eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols. So for those of us who think that the stark differences between Allah and the God of the Scriptures mean that Allah and Yahweh are not identical, there is actually a problem with eating halal meat, which, whilst it may not be sacrificed to Allah, is certainly killed in a way that acknowledges his alleged supremacy.
If McDonalds complies with this man’s wishes, they could lose more customers than they gain.
