French President Emmanuel Macron convened a high-level emergency security meeting at the Élysée Palace on Monday to address what he called the “strategic threat” of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration into vulnerable neighborhoods across the country.
This marks the second such meeting in recent months, following a similar session in May which, according to Macron, failed to produce meaningful action. Frustrated by the lack of progress, the president demanded that his ministers now present “concrete proposals” to curb the spread of Islamist ideology, particularly in impoverished suburbs.
The meeting was initiated by Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau and attended by top officials including the education and sports ministers. According to government sources, Macron was angered by leaks to the press regarding the classified security report that triggered the meeting. The report detailed what officials are calling a “quiet ideological takeover” in certain urban zones, warning that these trends pose a direct risk to the unity of the French Republic.
While Macron stressed that not all Muslims in France should be lumped together, he underlined the need to take ideological subversion seriously. “There’s a difference between legitimate criticism and deliberate blindness,” he said, cautioning against both panic and complacency….

To assert that Macron is an utterly feckless and useless politician would still be an understatement.
i do think that much of Europe is finally waking up to the disaster Europe has inflicted upon itself but just “waking up,” if indeed even this has occurred (hasn’t with those on the Left side of the political spectrum but then one should ALWAYS expect cluelessness from Western Leftists), is not nearly enough. A realization that Islam has been the one major religion which is inimical to liberty, equality under the law, women’s rights, and even common sense and basic graciousness, is an imperative. And that imperative realization has not year occurred and so meanwhile nothings like Marcon are pathetically trying to apply band-aids of one sort or another to a mortal wound.

They always throw in that part about ”not all”…..and so when, pray tell, can one *tell* if any of them could be trusted not to riot and burn things down if some were to be deported?
Sadly, for that *tiny minority* who might like to leave satan’s religion, the governments would have to do some “lumping” in order to get rid of their problems.

John McCain was friends with members of the muslim brotherhood (I don’t capitalize anything to do with islam), Obama assisted the takeover of Egypt (and Libya, IIRC) by the muslim brotherhood, and I am sure the EU has given them a helping hand as well.
Macron is as bad as Starmer. Macron needed to do something about the muslims in all of the “no-go” banlieues of Paris (and elsewhere in France) but never did, and Starmer ignored the gang-raping and trafficking of thousands of young British girls in Rotherham and elsewhere when it was his job to investigate and deal with those obscene crimes, but waited until now to pretend to do something about it – and still is actually ignoring it.

In the direction those two governments are going and at the rate they are doing it, good lord, what could go wrong? Will the future determine that those two countries get the Iranian treatment regarding nukes? Only time will tell. The world today is a mess and there is not too much that I can find that like about it. It is as if we are all being hounded and pursued by some unseen evil force. I wonder what that could be? /s
