Federal judge rules that family of Muslim migrant who firebombed Jews in Colorado can be deported

Justice. The man didn’t live in a vacuum. Nor did the ideas that led him to want to murder Jews.

“Family of suspect in antisemitic firebombing in Colorado can be deported, judge rules,” JNS, July 3, 2025:

The federal government can deport Mohamed Sabry Soliman’s wife and five children, as the 45-year-old faces 12 federal hate crime charges, including two for first-degree murder, for allegedly firebombing Jews in Boulder, Colo., last month as they marched in support of hostages in Gaza, a federal judge ruled.

Eight people were hospitalized due to the attack, and one died from her injuries.

“This is a proper end to an absurd legal effort on the plaintiff’s part,” stated Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

“Just like her terrorist husband, she and her children are here illegally and are rightfully in ICE custody for removal as a result,” McLaughlin stated. “This terrorist will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it.”

The district court ruling on Wednesday reversed a prior one from a district court blocking the government from deporting the defendant’s family, the New York Post reported.

Soliman arrived in the United States from Egypt in 2022. He overstayed his visa and was later granted a work permit during the Biden administration, according to the White House….

  2. Many Israelis are still alive because the homes of terrorist family supporters were demolished.after murderous attacks by family members on Israelis. I was first appalled by this action until seeing how these pay-for-play centers of support inspired others to commit terrorism.

    Terrorists must be forced to think twice about destroying everything they built with their life. The United States should do no less if family members are complicit in Islamic terrorism, particularly, if they are illegally in the USA.

    • Not so fast! If the family were part of the crime (under investigation), they should serve out their sentences before deportation.

      • Since they have been fighting to stay, they should go. No free food, housing, child care, clothes, medical, for this terror family, even if the woman knew what her terror husband was going to do.
        Four of the five children are under the age of adult and would need foster care, if the woman was tried and convicted.
        Just send them all home with instructions never to darken the doors again. And give the terrorist a shot and get it over with, pronto.

      • Probably a judgement call depending on circumstances. If they knew of it, incarceration won’t change their attitude but will cost the USA a lot of money and breakup the family.

        They were here illegally, so maybe it’s better to send them home where they can’t support another attack on US Jews. Their government is likely to keep them under surveillance.

        • Since they here were on visa’s from Egypt, Egypt should pay their prison costs. This should be done for all foreign nationals who committ crimes here. Maybe foreign countries would then think twice before sending their lowlife here.

  4. The Muslim migrant needs some lengthy prison time, before deportation. As far as I’m concerned, all devout Muslims need to be deported, all those who support those being deported, should be deported as well. Close all mosques in America, outlaw Islam in America, outlaw all Islamic organizations in America, deport all.

      I’ll go further than that: this should be a murder one capital case regarding Mohamed Sabry Soliman.

      Then, after execution, his corpse can be deported.

Allah in Quran 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], DO NOT TAKE the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another.   11. Good that that Federal judge has read the tealeaves from SCOTUS and decided not to sabotage the administration, while the murderer’s clan is sent back to Cairo

  14. Slightly off track but why didn’t someone with a CCW take that man out right off the bat.

    • Perhaps since it was a “peaceful march,” there was no one present who had the means to “take him out right off the bat.”

      How many in CO carry weapons for protection in this kind of thing? It’s a blue state.
      No one took out the murderer in Boulder a few years ago at the King Soopers store.
      The TdA ran roughshod over the apartment residents in Aurora a few months ago. No one ‘took them out.’

      • I agree but even in blue states like California with a lot of work (16 hour course, + range qualify + background etc etc every 2years) one can still get a CCW. Something like this would certainly motivate me to do so.

        • CO has firing ranges, companies which train people to shoot (one is owned by women) and there are likely many who carry.
          I was just saying that not everyone, every place, has the means to stop a terrorist.

          It was a peaceful march, by many elderly people. Probably no thoughts of someone setting them on fire entered their heads. They had been marching every weekend.

          And the people at the grocery store, shopping for their meals, probably had no thoughts of some goon coming in with guns.

          Most people do not think about those things, esp not when they are focused on some routine, or mundane things. Or even a peaceful march for the victims of terror.
          These things might inspire some to begin to take their guns along, routinely.
