  1. Going into Mexico to live and they demand you to pay taxes, learn to speak Spanish and respect their culture. What a joke what Mexico demands however they do follow their laws.

    Laws of Mexico: no special classes to learn Spanish, Ballots in Spanish only, all government business in Spanish only, Americans will not hold political office, foreigners will not receive food stamps and all who burben the system will be deported, land purchased will be restricted, and finally:COME IN ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE HUNTED DOWN AND DEPORTED.     • That is true pretty much anywhere in the world except America, where the worlds people seem to think we should accept, house, feed and provide medical services at the expense of the American citizens no matter who or what. That has got to STOP, we are struggling to take care of our own citizens.

  2. Maybe issue a new type of exchange visa (yeah, I know about the J1 student exchange visas, but this would be different). In it, a foreigner who doesn’t know English, like the Mexican immigrants in the US who don’t, can be exchanged for an American in that foreigner’s country who doesn’t know the native non-English language. Like the Californians who’ve just moved into Mexico about as calmly as the Mexicans whose illegal entry into their state they support

    Looks like they’re not too fond of the digital millionaires who’ve driven up prices there, and made it unaffordable for them. Maybe now they know how locals of Portland & Seattle originally felt when Californians started moving into their cities

    • One more reason to not let illegals to wire transfer money back to their real home “Mexico”. No illegal in America should receive Medicare(right now in California and N.Y. they do).No illegal should be given a anchor baby status to keep them here. Every illegal caught and found guilty of a felony crime even if they have live in America for 40 years should not be allowed to stay they must be deported .No drivers licenses for illegals in NY ,NJ ,and California over a million illegals have drivers license where issued over the last 10 years. Any state doing this should loss federal highway funds if they do not correct it Anyone knowing hiring illegals and knowingly using fake or stole SS# should face high fines and or jail time. No snap ,food stamps ,or other state or federal programs for illegals.

      • Or just tax every conversion of US dollars into Mexican pesos, and collect the tax. Since this is done in the US via Western Union or Moneygram (if not by credit cards), it can be easily implemented at the interface, and the Mexicans will have no control over it

  3. My daughter told me of a guy coming in to cash his employment check, but he didn’t have the required social security number and didn’t speak English. She told him “No,” which is basically a universal word for not now, buster.

    When I did farm work, some farmers would hire people from south of the border….they were paid the same as I…knowing they were here illegally.
    Then, a ‘raid’ of the farm would take place and suddenly, the field would be almost empty of workers. Many escaped to work another day; but all who were caught were sent home and the farmer paid a fine for having hired them.

    Most of them didn’t speak English. None of the Americans in the fields protested when the cops came and took the illegals away.

    Now, the people who want the illegals here to vote, protest. And all of these ones who have been here illegally for decades, and have even committed crimes while here, are held up with lots of boohooing and saying how the Americans have a gestapo.

    Two dems have a bill they want passed to unmask ICE agents and make them have their names prominent. I see that as wanting them to fear for their lives and the safety of their families, so that they refuse to do their jobs.

    In any case, the people in Mexico protesting against English-speaking Americans, aren’t looking to be voted into office. But they are very proud of their “culture,” including their espaniol. .

    • Nowadays, there are crop picking robots that can do that job for nothing (other than equipment maintenance and fuel). There’s less of a reason to hire illegals. Yeah, there are nuanced aspects like humans handling things like strawberries more delicately than machines, but for things like that, the farmers can do that themselves

  4. The shoe pinches hard when on the other foot. Mexico demands that the Yankee must assimilate. What happened to diversity? I always thought this would eventually happen. When Uncle Sam requires assimilation Uncle Sam is seen as evil. Those rioters in L.A. that were waving the Mexico flag need to go back. If they cannot find their way back, Uncle Sam can guide them.

  5. Watching programs on tubi.com and so many of the advertisements are in Spanish. One after another. they speak so quickly, it sounds like gibberish. If they spoke slower, some of it would be understandable.

    Mexicans don’t want English there, and they insist on having Spanish here.

    • You make a good point! Here in the U.S. Spanish is also recognized. In Mexico you had better know how to speak Spanish. U.S. must do the same. Come to U.S., learn English.

  8. If I were to move to mehico, I would do as what I would expect from anyone coming here from any foreign land: assimilate.

    BTW, most people moving there are Trumpfugees.
