Muhammad, if he actually existed, was a warlord as well as a self-styled Prophet. Islam’s own doctrinal works, the Quran and Hadiths are explicit that Muhammad sacked unbeliever societies, took booty, women, and slaves. Religion, in no way justifies this Warlord behavior as something other than what it is.
Islam is proof that repetition can create conviction, whether true or false. The 5 daily prayers as repetitious exercises are very effective in rejecting unbelievers and keeping Muslims from stepping back and exploring the history and beginning as well as the current hypocrisy and divisions within the Islamic flavors. It is claimed in Hadith that early Muslims were burned alive in their homes for not attending. That is how important ritual was to holding members.
Offering men booty, women, and great eternal rewards for being warriors and martyrs is the undeniable sign of both Muhammad and Allah being a warlord and destroyer god, respectfully. Islam was developed to be the supporting religion of warfare. It may have begun as a religion of peace until rejected at Mecca, yet it developed into a revenge organization that went conquering with blood and horror until stopped by the West. Sura 9 which is actually the last “revelation”, is the last word in the demand to force the world to be only for the Islamic religion.
Islam is simply out of its depth in the modern world and belongs with the mythological religions of ancient Rome. Of course, a case can be made that having Muslims tied up by Islamic ritual can keep them fuzzy-minded and inefffective competitors in the capitalistic world.

One thing about one of the last superchat questions about Indian Christians being persecuted by Hindus, David pointed out that he gets mixed responses from Indian Christians, and he is right. Indian Hindus generally don’t have issues w/ Indian Christians, unless and until they start trying to convert people. As I’ve explained before, the reason it’s an issue is the first 2 commandments. It’s not enough if Hindus simply add Mr Christ to their beautiful parade of deities – Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu, Lakshmi, et al: those Hindus are made to disown, denounce their “previous” deities, discard/destroy any of their idols and totally distance themselves from family members who don’t convert. Those are the cases where there are Hindu-Christian tensions: otherwise, if a Hindu himself chooses to become Christian but otherwise follows a “live & let live”, he gets on fine w/ both Christians and Hindus. There are Hindus who’ve converted to Christianity but don’t choose to malign Hinduism, and they get on fine w/ both groups
Also, in India’s north east, which has 6 states very tenuously connected to India via a “chicken neck” strip of territory b/w Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. 3 of those states already have Christian majorities, 1 a Christian plurality, and in one more – Manipur, Christians and Hindus are 50-50 and Christians there have been conducting a genocide of Hindus since 2022. Yeah, one can present the “No True Scotsman” argument and claim that they’re not Christians, but the ground realities in Manipur are what they are. End result is the perception of Christians among Hindus being what they are as a result

Let’s see–Muhammed is described as being a caravan-raider, kidnapper, rapist, slaver, and mass murderer. Sounds like a Warlord to me… What does this pious Muslim not like about this?

Notice that Kony–who never had much of a following among Christians, and was never endorced by any Chrstian group–is now hianging out in Islamic Sudan. Before that he was in equally Islamic Yemen, No links to any Christian nation.
As for the Westboro Baptist Church, this group was even smaller–about 70 members at its height, all either relatives or in-laws of leader Fred Phelps. Neither the Baptist Church nor Southern Baptist Church nor any othr Christian denomination ever accepted his views, and his cult fell apart after his death.
And while I did *not* like this group, and in fact used to argue with them when they showed up in my neighborhood in San Francisco during the 1980s, they *never* preached violence, nor did they ever practice it. They were a pretty ugly–and not very Christian–group, but they physically hurt *no one*. Much as I disliked them, they could not be compared to Jihad terrorists.
