Jeffrey Goldberg, the senior editor of The Atlantic and the unintended recipient of Pentagon planning secrets — see Signalgate — has written a piece explaining how the Arabs and Muslims, and especially the late Yahya Sinwar, convinced themselves that the Jews do not have deep roots in the land they call Israel, and so could be easily removed and sent packing to somewhere else — “back to” Poland, Germany, Birobidzhan, New York City, Uganda, the lands of the Khazars. Their mistake has been to believe their own propaganda, and they have paid dearly for it.

…Sinwar’s misunderstanding of Israel was, if anything, deeper than Iran’s misunderstanding of Trump. Hamas and other Palestinian groups believe that Israelis see themselves as foreign implants, and therefore can easily be brought to defeat. Sinwar’s misplaced confidence in theories of settler colonialism and Jewish perfidy undermined his strategic effectiveness. Sinwar was so convinced of his beliefs that he even sponsored a conference in 2021 called “The Promise of the Hereafter—Post-Liberation Palestine,” in which specific plans were discussed for the building of Palestine on the ruins of Israel. “Educated Jews and experts in the areas of medicine, engineering, technology, and civilian and military industry should be retained in Palestine for some time and should not be allowed to leave and take with them the knowledge and experience that they acquired while living in our land and enjoying its bounty,” one presentation read.
The theme of this conference, which was held in Gaza, was an echo of a statement made by Hassan Nasrallah, then the leader of Hezbollah, who said in 2000, “This Israel, with its nuclear weapons and most advanced warplanes in the region, I swear by Allah, is actually weaker than a spider’s web … Israel may appear strong from the outside, but it’s easily destroyed and defeated.” Nasrallah was assassinated by Israel nine months ago.
I asked Yossi Klein Halevi, a senior fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute, in Jerusalem, to explain the root of this misapprehension. “The only way you can believe that Israel is Nasrallah’s spiderweb is if you believe that we don’t have substance here, that we’re not a rooted people,” he said. “The problem with Sinwar is that he believed his own propaganda. He believed that we ourselves believe that we don’t belong here. Our enemies in the Arab and Muslim worlds don’t understand that their perception of Israel and of Jews is based on a lie.”
If nothing else, the wars of the past 20 months have proved that Israel’s adversaries are not adept at analyzing political and social phenomena as they manifest in reality. Walter Russell Mead, the historian, once explained that a weakness of antisemites is that they have difficulty understanding the world as it actually works, and don’t comprehend cause and effect in either politics or economics. Sinwar, Nasrallah, and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei himself saw Israel as they wished it was, not as it actually is. And in part because of this, they placed their movements in mortal danger.
Israel is not a colonial-settler state. Israeli Jews are deeply rooted in the land where Jews have lived, uninterruptedly, for 3500 years. Jewish history was made not in Tel Aviv and Haifa, but in Judea and Samaria, the place that Jordan renamed in 1950 as the “West Bank” in order to efface the Jewish connection to the land. The Jews of Israel have fought four major wars, in 1948, 1967, 1973, and 2023-present, wars that were in every case forced upon them, wars they had to win in order to assure the survival of their tiny state. With the possible exception of the Chinese, the Jews of Israel are the most deeply rooted of all peoples in their land, certainly far more so than the Arabs, who swept out of Arabia in the seventh century to conquer other lands belonging to other peoples, from the Atlantic to the Persian Gulf.

First , that reason why is because the Bible reveals, that God had given all this land that now composes the State of Israel, including all of the West Bank, to the Jewish people. This may be found in the Bible, as seen in, for example, Genesis 28:13-15. 35:10-12. Deuteronomy 32:48,49. Psalm 105:7-11. 135:4.Furthermore, the Jewish people should have this land by historic rights as shown in First Kings 4:20,21, 24,25. 8:55, 56.
Second, that Sinwar was fed disinformation from though young and impressionable years about the people who that land really belongs to, his ignorance is still no excuse his starting that invasion of Israel on October 7th 2023 and the horrendously evil brute cruel malicious and murderous actions of those Muslim terrorists of Hamas. The horrific behavior of his Hamas war criminal Sinwar approved of , so he was and still is guilty of that abomination. That Muslim terrorist top dog as we all know is now dead and in hell
Third, while Yahya Sinwar was still alive, there was still one way to cause God to turn His Back the Jewish State of Israel and Therefore let Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and those hostile despots of Iran destroy Israel . It would be for all of them to gather together and then change the laws of astrophysics, including those laws of astrophysics the control the sun, the moon and the stars. For God had declared in His Word, the Bible, in Jeremiah 31:35,36. “Thus saith the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day and the ordinances of the moon and stars for a light by night…The Lord of host is His name. If those ordinances depart from before Me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.”

The word “Palestine” is a fabricated term that was a made up for the land by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as an insult to the Jews because the Jews and the Philistines, many times, fought each other. For a long time after that “renaming ‘of that land, Both Arabs and Jews living in that land were both referred to as “Palestinians.” Then in 1964, many Arabs started to refer only to themselves as ‘The Palestinians” hoping that would give them some kind of valid claim to that land in the eyes of the different nations of the world.
