President Trump’s strikes quickly took out Iran’s nuclear program without risking any American lives or further involvement. Despite that the strikes were greeted with outrage not only by Iran, but by social media influencers, the former Obama officials who empowered Iran, and by Democrats, including Sen. Chuck Schumer who claimed that he would, rather late in the game, move for a War Powers vote.

Schumer had spent multiple elections running on promises to push back on Iran only to now campaign for Iran.

Tommy Vietor, Obama’s NSC spokesman, warned that, “Iran might retaliate today, tomorrow or in months. Or a year from now, Iran or its proxies might blow up a bus filled with American tourists in Cyprus.”

True. Would that ongoing state of affairs be better with or without nukes?

Obama chose to make Iran more of a threat, President Trump chose to shrink the threat.

“I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security,” UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned.

Iran has promised to complain to the UN. Unfortunately it may find out, as we already have, that the UN is entirely useless.

  1. I’d like to pose a question to all the mental midgets who “condemn” Trump doing the right thing to protect the world at large. Just what plan do you have??

    Outside of spewing gibberish from your oversized potholes, which of you contributed anything positive to the situation??

    • The virtue-signaling Democrats partner with Islam’s Muslims against America, Israel, and Non-Muslims using discrimination, segregation, and terrorism to help gain ultimate power and control. Allah in Quran 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], do not take the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another.   3. The present Democratic Party (sure ain’t the party any longer of Truman and JFK) is pretty much aligned with the utter debacle which is the UN. How fitting because both are worse than feckless. Both are enablers of iniquity.

    I cannot stress this too much, to wit, the UN has become an utterly meaningless institution. The US should pull out of it and require it locate elsewhere from NYC. But this remains only the “minor problem.”

    The “major problem” is that the Democratic Party of the USA is now the single greatest enemy of America. Not Russia. Not China. Not the forever retrograde Islamic world. Not the Mexican drug cartels. Not… Not… Not…

    I simply do not see how any patriotic, informed and sensible American citizen can any longer vote for any Democrat. Mark Levin is correct when he states that the Democratic Party hates America, the very title of a work he published recently.

    Forget the UN if you want a strong America to survive. It’s a giant nothing, just small potatoes. Rather, focus on the real problem and that is what the Democratic Party of the USA has become.

    • I am 74 years old and I have seen that the Democrat Party of today is radically different from the Democrat party of my childhood. As a result I prefer to call the Democrat Party the Democrat-Socialist Party, because today this party is really a socialist and communist party.

      • The Democrat party was always socialist, and corrupt. But in the old days, they weren’t so obvious about it, and they got pushback when they went too far. Now, they’re entirely used to having their own way, and hardly anyone stands against them.

      Talking about Gutteres, it’s high time we asked the UN to leave. Their building can be converted into either hotel space, a convention center or at worst a parking lot

      • As to the UN building itself, I have long advocated for its seizure and refurbishment (after a total fumigation both chemical and digital) and for it to be converted into free housing for homeless U.S. veterans. And rip that stupid statue out! You know, the one of a revolver (a Colt Python I think) with its barrel tied in a knot. Melt it down and sell to ammunition manufacturers.

      Isn’t it interesting the Obama surrogate: Tommy Vietor, Obama’s NSC spokesman, decided to weigh in with such a prophetic commentary. Iran might retaliate: “today, tomorrow or in the future”. Wow, what prophecy? In typical Left Wing fashion, they conveniently omit the fact that Iran has been attacking America & American Interests since 1979 and certainly since Obama-Biden put together the feckless Iran Deal. Obama-Biden & Company are all stooges bought & paid for by Iran!

    • As far as the INTERNAL enemy is concerned, I think that I have to wholly agree. But the far greater threat not just to our country but to Western civilization is Islam. There’s no such thing as “RADICAL” Islam there is ONLY Islam. It’s a Satanic creation designed to assist in the end of all of mankind but especially the West and our Judeo-Christian society.

As a retired high school Teacher of History and Government, I have forever, through extensive research and my Masters Degree in National Security Studies, known that the UN is not what it self describes as. They should more appropriately be labeled as the Dictators Club. The folks who voted to ratify the UN Charter who were in the U.S. Senate when it happened were badly duped by communist actors inside our government and worse, globalist actors originating in the globalist Council on Foreign Relations. That shadowy group has been behind nearly every move to weaken our sovereignty and our freedoms. They ARE the literal face of the New World Order.

    The more appropriate course of action should be to withdraw from the UN and NATO, seize the NYC building, rip out that stupid statue of the revolver with its barrel tied in a knot! Turn the whole structure into free housing for U.S. Homeless veterans.

Put them to work on a chain gang in deepest Mississippi or working railroad repair jobs in Arizona—catching my drift here? Or just give them a airline ticket to Syria or better yet South Africa!

The truth is that Islam is an evil cult that reduces it’s followers to their most base instincts of inhumanity to support their “Moon God”!

    Islam is the problem; it creates Hamas, Hezbollah and all the various terrorist organizations.
    Eliminate Islam and the problem goes away! Then we can deal with the core of evil supporters from the Left!

    • I’m sure there’d be an astonishing backtracking if suddenly those countries found themselves bereft of American defense and American foreign aid, and saddled with American tariffs.

      And I think Medvedev was stating an expectation, not a desire. I can’t see Russia wanting another nuclear-armed power on its borders, especially as they have plenty of trouble with their own Muslim population.

  7. The most dangerous words about cancer are, “Maybe it will go away”. The same can be said about Iran’s Twelver Islam. The best outcome would be for Charles Schumer to go away and let real men, who don’t suck on the American teat for a lifetime, solve the problem of Iranian nukes.

    Schumer sounds Jewish but the relationship only holds if no personal sacrifice is involved.

  9. To all those worried about Iran’s retailiation.
    Was the Beirut barracks bombing in 1983 a retaliation ?
    Was the 1983 embassy bombing a retaliation?
    Were the murders of Americans durng the Kuwait flight 221 or TWA flight 847 hijackings retaliation ?
    How about the 1996 Khobar towers bombing that killed 19 Americans in SA ?
    1998 Embassy attacks in Kenya and Tanzania ?
    Countless attacks on Amerians throughout Iraq, form 2003 and beyond ?
    The Shia mullocracy will kill American’s anyway they can, retaliation or not.
    Thank God for Trump fighting back. IMHO, he is being far too soft and far too limited with regards of what we should be doing.

    Ich kann dem allen zu 100% zustimmen und habe zum Thema UNO und Demokratische Partei hier schon früher meine Meinung kund getan.
    Ähnlich katastrophal agieren neoliberale Links-Extremisten in den EU Ländern. Ihr Stern ist zwar am Sinken begriffen, immer weniger Zustimmung bekommen sie bei den Wahlen, um so aggressiver und restriktiver gehen sie gegen regierungskritische Meinungen und gegen oppositionelle Parteien und Bewegungen vor.
    Entweder zerbricht der Westen in einer Orgie der Gewalt oder er löst sich aufgrund seiner Dekadenz, ohne nennenswerte Zerstörungen, einfach in Luft auf. Wahrscheinlich wird dann das Recht des Stärkeren die neue Gesellschaftsordnung formen.
