It’s not clear why they think that new Syrian regime is “apostate.” Apparently, the Islamic State is taking al-Sharaa at his word that he is no longer a jihadi. Other assessments differ.

CNN — ISIS has claimed two attacks on Syrian security forces – the first since the transitional government under former jihadist Ahmed al-Sharaa took office.
The terror group, also known as Islamic State, said it had killed and injured seven members of “the apostate Syrian regime” with an explosive device that was detonated on a road in southern Syria. It said the attack took place in the remote desert area of Talul al Safa in the southern Syrian province of Suwayda.
A military source in the Suwayda region told CNN that a reconnaissance unit from the Free Syrian Army was ambushed Wednesday while tracking ISIS movements in the area. One fighter had been killed and three injured.
Units of the Free Syrian Army are supported by the US military in what is called the al Tanf Deconfliction Zone close to the borders with Jordan and Egypt, where the US has a small outpost.
The source added that the Talul al Safa area is “extremely rugged and dangerous area, as ISIS had been exploiting its terrain for a long time.”…

I think they’re trying to help the HTS regime gain credibility in the West that they are an anti-jihadist regime. If ISIS is attacking them, it has to be true, doesn’t it?

This may be a surprise to some, but every devotee wants to be the top devotee. And there is no honor among them.

Islam always hated the human race. This evil religion distorts the truth and ruins many lives. I feel sad for non-Muslims, some ignorant Muslims who don’t know the teachings and for the future of humanity. All of what islam does is terrorizing all humans. I am suspecting that this was an invention of hidden, human-hating extraterrestrial aliens. I have not seen another religion and belief other than islam that is worse than cancer. It clearly demonstrates that humans are capable of unending evil.
There is a hadith that says islam will retreat to Arabia like a rattle snake and cease to exist. I doubt that most Muslims believe in that hadith, even though it is included in the reliable sources. They seem to believe in the supremacy of islam forever. But sooner or later islam will end.

First, the news source is CNN by reporters Tim Lister and Eyad Kourdi. I haven’t depended on CNN for accurate news in years.
Second, Paragraph #4. I can’t tell what country the reporter is referring to when describing the location of al Tanf Deconfliction Zone.

Jordan and Egypt do not share a border. Israel is between them. Furthermore, al Tanf is in Syria just north of where Jordan and Iraq share a border. Egypt is between 620 – 888 miles away.
