“Congress has not provided authorization for military action against Iran”
The plan to save Iran is pretty bipartisan with Democrats tearing up with a small number of Republicans, and extremist online influencers getting together to warn against taking out Iran’s underground nuclear reactor.
Sen. Schumer initially issued an incoherent statement that didn’t actually take a position on anything that was going on, but expressed its support for both Israel defending itself and a deal wth Iran and promised to closely monitor further developments.
Then Schumer signed on to a statement by 5 senators, claiming that, “Intensifying military actions between Israel and Iran represent a dangerous escalation that risks igniting a broader regional war” and warning President Trump that they would not ‘rubberstamp’ any action (short of a deal with Iran that lets it keep its nuclear program) and declared that, “congress is an equal partner in preserving and defending U.S. national security around the world, and Congress has not provided authorization for military action against Iran – we will not rubberstamp military intervention that puts the United States at risk. Our foremost duty is to safeguard American citizens wherever they reside and to protect our troops serving on the front lines. The United States cannot sleepwalk into a third war in as many decades. Congress has a critical role to play in this moment.”
What’s funny is you can see that virtually identical rhetoric among some woke rights influencers online.
At this point, Schumer’s reputation in the Jewish community has long since become a joke, but it’s still worth noting that he signed on to a letter opposed to bombing Iran’s nuclear reactor and keeps claiming that the only answer is a “diplomatic solution.”

schumer, who threatened a couple of Supreme Court members with a “whirlwind” without any *authorization* to do so, should go on over to Iran, declare who he is, tell them, as he’s said before, “I’m the *ranking* Jew in the Senate.”
Then, he might decide that Mr. Trump needs to *act* without Congress.

Schumer’s reputation in the Jewish community has long since become a joke but among non Jewish left in the democrat party he is persona non grata. He is a man without a party. As a result of years of him attacking us on the other side we dont like him either. So even worse he is basically a man without a country. Chucks party is more likely to attack him rather than attacking Iran. That right there deserves a good laugh and a healthy smirk. But with all of that there he is thinking he is someone. Chuck is suffering from an affliction named misunderstandment. Sit down and shut up and maybe, just maybe, your party will let you live Chuck.
If some smart director made a movie about the modern democrat party no one would go to see it because it would be too ridiculous and unbelievable for most. And what category would it land in? Not Drama, not SciFi, not Comedy or anything else. I guess it could be filed under a new category that we see so often today, unertainment.

Doesn’t he realize that Congress, long ago, provided war powers without Senate approval for a limited period. Congress’ role for war is mainly money allocations. I believe Schumer was one of the lazy politicians who voted war power to the Executive. Schumer is counting on citizen ignorance to give some reality to his toothless warning. The dishonesty of our politicians is truly appalling and the ignorance of the citizens who allow it, even more so.
Will Rogers was right, “America has the best politicians money can buy!”

This is correct. The president has powers to counter act evil against our country and our allies without declaring war. Iran is a paper tiger. Schumer and the other Iran allies realize how one sided a show of force would be. The left has to protect their friends.

Es erstaunt mich immer wieder, wie viel Mitgefühl die aufgeweckte Linke für Terroristen und Massenmörder an den Tag legen.
