Dissidents and reformists inside Iran are numerous, and they have been calling for regime change for decades; many have risked their lives in protests. Last year, the Islamic Republic of Iran saw a surge in executions of women as it tightened its restrictions on the rights of women. The people of Iran have had enough. Netanyahu says that the Israeli attacks are paving the way for regime change, and the establishment media wasn’t short on opinion, ranging from skepticism to the usual anti-Israel activism:

In a cafe in northern Tehran last night, there was a party where regime opponents celebrated the Israeli attack.
The people of Iran are perhaps the only people in the world who are happy about an attack on their country.

Israel’s military campaign against Iran is giving its people a chance to topple the Islamic Republic, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Iran International, adding that the ruling system’s days were numbered.
“A light has been lit—carry it to freedom,” Netanyahu told Iran International’s anchor Pouria Zeraati on Monday.
“This is the time,” he said. “Your hour of freedom is near—it’s happening now.”
Netanyahu cast the Islamic Republic as an enduring threat to Israel through its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
“The tyrants of Tehran basically planned two weapons of mass death to exterminate Israel,” he said. “One is to rush forward with their nuclear program to develop atomic bombs to destroy Israel.”
“Second, they’ve programmed to build a vast missile, ballistic missile arsenal … Each missile carrying a one-ton payload, just slamming into our cities, killing our women, our children. They were going to build 20,000 of these,” he added.
Netanyahu framed Israel’s ongoing campaign as both a defensive war and an opportunity for the leadership in Tehran to be overthrown.
“This is evil against good, and it’s time for good people to stand up with the good, the good people of Iran, and good people everywhere against this madness foisted on all of us by this radical tyranny. It’s about to end,” Netanyahu said….

The third point above would be needless and an obstacle: better to let ground realities dictate what G20 and other international groups do. The fourth point is redundant at this point, and probably dangerous: he would be better off without members of the islamic republican army on his side, since many of them would need to be tried for human rights crimes
Other than that, though, he should work w/ the Israelis to put together a mechanism by which his team takes over, while the Israelis help them take out the rank & file of IRGC, Basij & other jihadist/shariah groups within Iran. Then put together an interim government, that manages things, while at the grassroots level, allows for political activity. Then after a while, hold elections, and then take things from there
In the meantime, while the US shouldn’t intervene, one thing that we should do – warn Iran’s neighbors – Turkey, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iraq & Pakistan – not to take advantage of this situation and try to exploit things, like attacking Kurds, Balochis, Azeris & so on
