Robert, you wouldn’t be happy unless the US was dedicated to taking out the entire ruling class in Iran. And when the inevitable blood drenched civil war would follow, you’d quickly pivot from your original position proclaiming you never supported regime change in Iran. Just like you did an about face regarding your original support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Oh rubbish. The eternal desire ( and that is exactly what it is) to destroy Israel and Jews cannot be eliminated, only contained. That is what a ceasefire is to Muslims- a pause when they are weak. Then when they are strong they can abrogate the ‘ceasefire’ because their is no real treaty with dhimmi or infidels for peace and an end to conflict. Don’t blame R Spencer for pointing out the entire history of this.

Correct that ceasefire is only a pause and way short of peace. To get peace, you’d need the Moslems to renounce the central goal of Islam, which is the Cause of Global Sharia.

The US doesn’t have to take out the ruling class in Iran. All it needs to do is stop throwing them lifelines that would enable them to regroup and lash out at their populace. As for Israel, they are de-facto at war w/ Iran: the US should not tell them what they can or can’t do in the war, including toppling the regime
