Leftist congresswoman says calls for Mamdani’s denaturalization are ‘blatant Islamophobia’

Ogles’ grounds for calling for Mamdani to be denaturalized is that “he may have procured U.S. citizenship through willful misrepresentation or concealment of material support for terrorism.”

Friedman thinks that’s “blatant Islamophobia.” It’s an open question whether or not she would consider any opposition to jihad terror and Sharia oppression to be “Islamophobia.”

A member of Congress is calling for the deportation of Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic candidate for New York City mayor and a United States citizen, and has written a letter to the Justice Department asking for an investigation.

Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, posted on the social media site X on Thursday a letter he sent to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, requesting an investigation into Mamdani claiming that “he may have procured U.S. citizenship through willful misrepresentation or concealment of material support for terrorism.”

In his request for the Trump administration to investigate Mamdani, Ogles cites as evidence rap lyrics ― from when Mamdani performed as “Mr. Cardamom” ― which said “Free the Holy Land Five, my guys.” The Holy Land Five were a group convicted in 2008 of illegally funneling money to Hamas, according to the political website The Hill.

“While I understand that some may raise First Amendment concerns about taking legal action based on expressive conduct, such as rap lyrics, speech alone does not preclude accountability where it reasonably suggests underlying conduct relevant to eligibility for naturalization,” Ogles’ letter continued.

In addition to Ogles, the New York Young Republican Club is also calling for the Mamdani’s deportation, posting on X that “The radical Zohran Mamdani cannot be allowed to destroy our beloved city of New York,” and cited the Communist Control Act, a McCarthy-era law from 1954, as a means to revoke his citizenship and deport him….

    And the whole thing regarding the fake ‘phobia’ is so incredibly stupid….and wrong. Anyone has a legal and moral *right* not to like….whatever they don’t like….and to fear….whatever they fear.

    Bakers make chocolate, lemon, white, sponge cakes. I don’t like sponge cakes. Others may have an irrational *fear* of sponge cakes thinking they are made of sponges.
    So people who bake, buy or eat sponge cakes accuse me, and those who fear, of spongecakephobia. (islam has no “o”. neither does cake..)

    Why is it that so many people (idiots all) condemn others for the so-called ‘islamophobia’? People have a moral and legal *right* to not like islime.

    And reps in Congress have a moral and legal **right** and a legal **responsibility** to question the mozscum running for mayor based on his words and his actions and question what are his motives

        • I second that. Islam should be mocked and responded to in a highly aggressive manner. All Christians are at war with Islam and all Christians need to realize they need to take an aggressive approach toward this vile cult.

          I try to remember to use only lowercase letters for islam, muslims, allah, etc.

          I purposely disrespect that putrid religion.

          I’ve seen a few others. I say if one wants to stay with *proper* grammar, that’s their decision; but I have no intention of doing the same when it comes to evil and those who practice it.
          I’ve also noticed that many use lowercase for Christianity and Christians.

          I don’t try to correct them as I believe they are doing so to express their feelings

    It is not about you of what you think precious. It is about the millions of non-muslim Americans that could be badly affected if this sharia loving islamist and his gang gained control. If she were a Jew in a muslim country speaking out against the national interest what do you think would happen to her? So since she appears to support sharia lets play muslim for a day. Its real easy. Sit down shut up and do the only job muslims require you for, breeding.

    She is a NYC transplant living in California. Today we hear complaints about Californians moving to other states but long before that California suffered from undesirables moving to California. She and others are the reason I had no other choice but to abandon my home state of California. How do you think I feel about that woman? Well I will tell you, I am not at all happy about it at all. Old California was a great place to grow up in and live. As a result of US foreigners moving there from other states its not great anymore. I dont despise her more than I do the islamist but it is close.

      He wants to take away from citizens the business of selling food, and place it within his ‘government’ control….like no more pork products or wine to go with dinner, etc.

    I can say first-hand, life was good there.

    • James, I am from SoCal but I was stationed up North in the Bay area during the 80s and it was one heck of a lot better up there back then. Used to ride my motorcycle up to Golden Gate park on the weekends. Sure it was quirky and a lot different than Orange county but lots of fun.

  13. When I’m accused of Islamophobia, I counter with, ” No …. I’m Islam-informed ….” which seems to thrust them into a polite state of thoughtfulness. If they continue to berate, then I say until they get informed with a similar level of knowledge as we have, it’s just a waste of time to try for a worthwhile discussion, but don’t hesitate to come back when they’ve done some homework. Therefore the true answer to the accusation of Islamophobia is Islam-informed

If I don’t consent to women being stoned, to sisters being murdered for family honor, if I condemn female genital mutilation and other forms of misogyny, and especially to the killing of Jews and other infidels—if I reject all of the above, it makes me an Islamophobe, and I am proudly one. It seems that brainwashing children leaves the brain atrophied and primitive.
