Bravado is nothing new for Iran, or for other Islamic and Muslim-majority regimes. Recall, the late Saddam Hussein’s “Mother of all battles” tough talk. Saddam called George W. Bush the Great Satan “and foretold the deaths of allied soldiers by drowning in pools of their own blood.” In the same manner, Iranian Lieutenant-Colonel Iman Tajik is trying in vain to pump some resoluteness into pro-regime loyalists, and to save face following the magnificent tactical attack by Israel that has left the Iranian Islamic regime deeply shaken. Regime collapse is a real possibility.
“Lieutenant-Colonel Iman Tajik, Spokesman For Iran’s Operation True Promise III: We Control The Skies Over Israel; The Success Of Our Missile Attack Sends A Message To Israel’s ‘War Mongering’ American Ally,” MEMRI, June 17, 2025:
Lieutenant-Colonel Iman Tajik, spokesman for Operation True Promise III, said in a June 17, 2025 address on IRINN TV (Iran) that Iran has obtained “complete control of the skies of the occupied territories.” He claimed that Israelis have become “completely defenseless” against Iran’s missile attacks.
Tajik said that the previous night’s missile strike, which killed eight Israeli civilians, should have sent a clear message about Iran’s strength to Israel’s “delusional and war-mongering” American ally.
He added that the 11th missile salvo launched that night as part of Iran’s retaliatory Operation True Promise III included the Fattah missile, shook the bomb shelters of the “Zionist cowards” and caused confusion among Israeli air defenses, leading them to strike their own positions.
Iman Tajik: “Oh brave people of Iran, the 11th salvo of the pride-inspiring Operation True Promise III, in which the first generation of the Fattah missile was used, spells the beginning of the end for the legendary defense of the Zionist army. It [caused] the Zionists confusion and made them hit themselves. We congratulate you, devoted commanders and soldiers of the IRGC Aerospace Force. The strong and maneuverable Fattah missiles have crossed the missile defense systems tonight, and have shaken, multiple times, and bomb shelters of the Zionist cowards……

The most consistent factor in the strength of the Iranian Regime is its claim to be representative for Allah and the most consistent factor for men “believing” in the religion is they receive absolute civil power over women in religious, social, economic, inheritance, and even bedroom matters. Brute Kings?
Yet, there has been no special communication from the heavens that such legitimacy has been anything but assumed. We see only men who have studied the works of Islam and somehow anointed themselves with the godly power to dictate life and death upon the people – stunningly absurd is it not?
With the supreme power in the hands of an Ayatollah, attaching the word Democratic to Iran is a blatant piece of takiyya. This is a religious gang passing favors among itself, a mafia hiding under a facade of religiousness. Hanging the opposition from cranes and torturing, raping, women in its prisons is religion?
The glue that holds this criminal mess together is the repetition placed on the people 5 times a day to drill the notion into their brains that Islam and by association, their “Supreme Leader”, has a right to control their lives in every detail. It’s Stockholm Syndrome from womb to tomb.
It’s asking too much for the people to reject the Regime, without help, when it replies with murderous intent at the direction of the Supreme Murderer. It’s astonishing how no tyrant ever believed he was evil and religious tyrants, most spectacularly.
Maybe for Iran, attacking the military assets is the least efficient. Stopping the daily brainwashing might have more effect. Perhaps warning Iran to avoid Masjids, bombing them until unusable, bombing the religious seminaries of Qom, flattening Islamic shrines, etc. Simply overthrowing a Regime won’t change the Islamic undercurrent that will inevitably create another attempt to control Iran and destroy Israel.
Iranians need a chance for secular government. Why should Persions embrace an Arab war religion as government? Oh, yeah, man king stuff.

He should put that in his report to Khamenei and all surviving members of the Iranian government, so that they go outdoors in Teheran and hold one of their “Death to Israel” demonstrations in public. Will make it easy for the Israeli Air Force to send them to allah

I think that Iran’s claims to downed Israeli F-35’s is now five. But, one of the clips that they posted is of a video game. Other clips that they posted are AI generated, but very poorly, all getting the tail section of the airplane wrong in much the same way as AI generated people often have 6 fingers.
Needless to say, Iranians did not down any Israeli planes, nor did any crash. But, such Claims, including the capture of Israeli pilots. Shows the desperation of the IRGC in this very lopsided war.

During the 1967 Six Day War, Nassar made the same baseless claims that the Egyptian Air Force was striking targets in downtown Tel Aviv. The IDF wisely let him spread his B.S. (male Bovine Fecal Matter), leading the Egyptians to become complacent, believing their own propaganda. Once the smoke had cleared, the Egyptians found the IDF on the other side of the Suez Canal, which they could do nothing about until 1973. So, let them spread their baseless B.S., as it blinds them to their failures and the IDF’s advances on the battlefield!
