Iran’s warning is a commentary on how foolish the Islamic regime in Tehran thinks Westerners really are. This is thanks to the leftist leaders who are so easily manipulated and continue to take the regime at its word despite abundant evidence of its dishonesty.
Iran has long aimed to build nuclear weapons, has lied about the 2015 nuclear deal, and clearly will say and do anything to acquire a nuclear bomb. It doesn’t need to be provoked into building one.
“Grossi: Iran’s nat’ls say IDF strike on nukes may push nuke building,” by Amichai Stein and Yonah Jeremy Bob, Jerusalem Post, June 9, 2025:
Iranians told IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi that if Israel strikes its nuclear facilities, this could push them over the edge and they will try to create nuclear weapons, Grossi said on Monday in an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post.
“A strike could potentially have an amalgamating effect, solidifying Iran’s determination – I will say it plainly – to pursue a nuclear weapon or withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” Grossi said.
“I’m telling you this because they have told me so directly,” he added.
This is a typical Iranian refrain that could easily be dismissed as psychological warfare. However, hearing it directly from the world’s number one nuclear inspector, who has met with three Iranian presidents and many other top Iranian officials, is sobering. Further, while several Israeli officials have assured the Post that Israel can strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, Grossi openly expressed doubt about this possibility.Discussing what Israel might do if no new nuclear deal is reached in the foreseeable future, Grossi said, “What member states decide to do is their prerogative. I don’t advise the Israeli government. They will decide what’s best.”“But one thing is certain,” he continued, “The program runs wide and deep. And when I say ‘deep,’ I mean it. Many of these facilities are extremely well-protected. Disrupting them would require overwhelming and devastating force.”…

The fact is, if America lacks the guts and wisdom to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, then Israel must attack these facilities even if it means hitting the same bombed sites a few times to get maximum penetration.
We know Iran is preparing and America, specifically Donald Trump, rather stupidly thinks that a written ‘deal’ with a criminal Islamic terrorist regime will secure peace. It will not because Muslim zealots like mullahs of Iran glory in deceit and general dishonesty – and do not possess a Judeo-Christian concept of honesty and honour, so Trump displays utter ignorance of Islam. Netanyahu is not, so regardless of what Trump says must prepare to attack .

When I was a kid, I used to play the world conquest boardgame “Risk”, where one has to conquer all the territories on the map. Once, when I was playing and threatened to break an opponent’s hold on South America (where he had the entire continent & therefore the complementary troops that they get at the start of a turn), he threatened to wipe me out if I went ahead w/ breaking his continent. Stupidly, I was deterred 😨, thinking that he might have the cards to get enough troops to retaliate
If Iran’s nuke facitlities are damaged, how would they create nukes? In their kubideh shops? Either Israel or the US should ignore this treat and go ahead and do it

The window of opportunity to attack Iran’s nuclear program is rapidly closing.

Iran tells IAEA head that if Israel strikes nuke facilities, it could push them to create nuclear weapons
……………………………………..
So–Iran is only creating nukes because Israel is prevening them from doing so How does that threat to “wipe Isral off the map” fit in?
Of course, it does not–just more blaming the victim for their own savagery.

I’m pretty sure Iran already has nukes.

If Israel destroys Iran’s nuclear facilities then they can’t make a bomb!
