Behboudi, 24, was killed by her husband last week after returning from a sports competition in northern Gorgan, according to reports. She was the mother of a 4-year-old daughter.
Sources said the killing was motivated by Behboudi’s sports activities and online presence.
She had posted a photo of her hands on her private Instagram account after winning an arm wrestling competition, which angered her husband.
A source said Behboudi had previously been subjected to domestic violence, and tensions with her husband had escalated in recent weeks.
According to information obtained by IranWire, the husband took their young daughter to Behboudi’s mother’s house the night of the killing, then brought his wife to their home under the pretext of going out.
He strangled her, then cut the veins in both her arms and broke both her wrists to make the scene appear like suicide.
In initial confessions, the suspect said he told his wife’s body, “Let’s see how you want to arm wrestle now.”…

Islam gave him so many justifications: she had fun, she bared her hands, she may just possibly have bared a centimeter of her arm, she left the house, she’s setting such a bad example for her daughter by winning instead of cowering, and she could probably outperform him and outrank him. She may have even won prize money of her own.
He’s such an islam-sanctioned barbarian that he couldn’t stop at just slashing her wrists; he had to break them. He also clearly wanted to feel the life leave her body as he strangled her. This, even though it exposed him as her killer.

Women that men are suppose to protect and support their wives, daughters ,granddaughter ect are most endangered by the males in their own family unit .It is encoded in Islamic law that women are inferior beings treated like property ,in many cases treated worse then family pets. In the early ’70’s at CU, I was forced into a “woman’s studies” class instead of English 101, presumably because I was a “backwoods” Southerner. The entire course was wailing about working women being held back because golf tee times were too early for real business deals. The Muslim religion was never mentioned. I was shocked out of my mini-skirt when I visited Libya!!!! Could have been killed like this woman… had no idea!
