The White House presented the new deal as a ‘‘detailed and acceptable proposal,” but it does not suffice for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Of course this should not be a surprise to anyone. The Islamic Republic will not agree to any deal that has any possibility whatsoever of restraining the Islamic regime.
“A key sticking point is Washington’s demand for Iran to completely stop uranium enrichment.”An Iranian diplomat slammed the deal as a “non-starter,” as it “fails to address Tehran’s interests.” But what are those interests? To acquire a nuclear bomb, of course, and ultimately to wipe Israel off the map.
Iran cannot be trusted to be truthful in negotiations or to commit genuinely to any agreement. Iranian regime actors are routine liars, who follow the Islamic Shi’ite tenet of taqiyya as a means to advance the Sharia. Perhaps Trump is providing an opportunity for the world to see the truth about Iran.
“Iran preparing to reject US nuclear deal proposal, diplomat says – report,” by Parisa Hafezi, Reuters, June 2, 2025:
Iran is poised to reject a US proposal to end a decades-long nuclear dispute, an Iranian diplomat said on Monday, slamming it as a “non-starter” that fails to address Tehran’s interests and leaves Washington’s stance on uranium enrichment unchanged.
“Iran is drafting a negative response to the US proposal, which could be interpreted as a rejection of the US offer,” the senior diplomat, who is close to Iran’s negotiating team, told Reuters.
The US proposal for a new nuclear deal was presented to Iran on Saturday by Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, who was on a short visit to Tehran and has been mediating nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington.
But after five rounds of talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff to resolve the nuclear standoff, many issues remain unresolved….

I hope Trump and Witkoff understand that negotiations with Iran on the issue of uranium enrichment are doomed to failure, as the Mullahs intend to build and use nuclear weapons to bring their Mahdi out of occuktation and declare End Times. I’m doubtful, however, that either of them – Witkoff especially – are aware that the Iranian government’s plan is eschatologically driven. Iran’s nuclear program must be utterly destroyed for a holocaust to be prevented. I fear that Trump is going wobbly on this issue.

In late October 2024, Israel attacked and destroyed the SAM-300 [Russian made] Iranian air defense system guarding its nuclear facilities along with UAV and missile manufacturing plants. Of significance was that Israel warned the Iranians exactly where the bombings would take place. Despite this, Israel lost no aircraft. The time to have struck Iran’s nuclear facilities was soon after the total crippling of its air defenses.
Iran has since rebuilt some of its defense systems and enriched about 200 kg. of 60% U-235 and possibly enough 90% enriched U-235 to make a few atomic bombs. Each day the US and Israel wait, this enriched product will migrate to unknown places if it hasn’t done so already.

I realize Trump wants a diplomatic solution. But this a dangerous waste of time. Israel is fast losing the window to decimated or neutralize the centrifuges. Iran is playing Witkoff. Iran is very close to having enough enrichment to make 10 bombs. How come a person with no high powered diplomatic placement typing in the waiting room of a veterinary clinic gets this and these diplomats do not get it? Something is very wrong here?

Actually, Iran is playing this very dumb. They’re openly rejecting these things, which will only strengthen the case of the Mike Walz types in the cabinet who’d give Israel the go-ahead to attack. If Israel were smart, they’d have acted like Turkey, or even better, Syria, and verbally agreed to everything Trump asked. Then violated every agreement one after the other
So we may ultimately end up greenlighting Israeli attacks on Iran, but get completely taken for a ride by Turkey and Qatar. Since the Syrian regime is new, there is at least a rationale for a wait-and-watch attitude w/ them. But Erdogan has been in power since 2003, and the Qataris forever, so there is no reason for the US to suddenly start trusting them
Yet, here we are!

If Trump accepts any more stalling as a “good faith effort” dragging its feet to the “finish line” of 9 nuclear tipped missiles, Trump will go down in history as a fool and an idiot, just for a few goodies from the Saudis, Kuwait and Quatar. Remember no gonads no glory. The opportunity to strike is while the iron is hot.
