Israel has three goals in its war with Iran: first, to destroy both Iran’s ability to enrich uranium to weapons-grade level and its current stock of enriched uranium; second, to destroy as many of its current stock of 3,000 ballistic missiles as the Israelis can, and to destroy Iran’s ballistic missile plants; third, to so weaken the regime that a groundswell of fury at what the Supreme Leader has done to Iran, investing trillions of now-wasted dollars on a nuclear program, while his country’s economy craters, and by constantly threatening to destroy Israel has brought great destruction to his country.

IDF Chief Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin on Monday announced that the air force has destroyed a third of Iran’s ballistic missile launchers, 120 in total.
Iran has about 3,000 ballistic missiles, and it is using them up a rate of at least a hundred a day. 85-90% of those missiles are successfully intercepted, and for another 5-10% there is no attempt at interception, because their trajectory shows they will land harmlessly in open fields. Many of those 3,000 ballistic missiles are being destroyed in warehouses on the ground in Iran every day by Israeli airstrikes; it has proven impossible to hide their locations from Israeli intelligence. And of those missiles that survive intact, many will likely never be used, because Israel has destroyed so many of Iran’s ballistic missile launchers — so far 120 out of what had been a total of 360.
Each launcher could have fired dozens of missiles over the course of the current war.

Iran has now lost the ability to produce more ballistic missiles, with the destruction by the IDF of its ballistic missile factories. Its daily volley of ballistic missiles has done little damage; in three days of war, only 16 Israelis have been killed. No strictly military targets have been hit, though the Weizmann Institute of Science suffered minor damage in one building.
Israel has complete control of the skies over Iran. Most of the attempts by Tehran to move either ballistic missiles by truck to launchers, or to move the launchers themselves into position, are being detected by Israeli intelligence, and they are then immediately struck by fighter jets firing missiles. And the Iranians realize with helpless dismay that 90% of the ballistic missiles they do manage to launch are either intercepted by Iron Dome defenses, or fall in fields where they cause no damage.
At current rates of using up its ballistic missiles stocks — estimated to consist at most of nightly barrages of 100 (with fewer than ten of those avoiding interception) — Iran has enough of a supply to last for 30 days. Of course, there is the remote possibility that the Iranians may have built underground a ballistic missile factory that the Israelis have not yet located and destroyed. But absent that, Iran will within a few weeks give new meaning to that phrase about ending “not with a bang, but a whimper.”

For the government authorities and officials of the State of Israel have a duty and responsibility to ensure the safety security and lives of the people who are citizens of that nation by launching strikes on the missile weapon centers and military strategy command centers in Iran as well as other military and weapons places of the aggressive and hostile Islamic terror/murder regime of Iran. It’s a matter of basic self-defense .

The Israeli air strikes on Iran are a necessary action to take. One of the many reason why this is so is because those savage villainous Muslim despots in power in Iran will listen to reason and never stop their Islamic quest of the jihad to destroy the state of Israel. Therefore, the use of a strong powerful military might against them is very appropriate and fitting.

I do hope that the Israelis get the JDAMs to blow up that Fordow plant that’s buried in the mountains, so that the last of Iran’s plants is destroyed. Thankfully, they’ve killed all but 3 of the scientists, and doesn’t look like those 3 will be able to re-staff
In the meantime, hopefully, Teheran has been evacuated by all civilians, and that Israel is at liberty to do anything there. The thing I’m most interested in is seeing at what point does the Iranian people’s opposition to the regime topple it, and allow for a new government. If it’s Reza Pahlavi, this is his plan for Iran as per wiki:
I like this plan. On JNS, a little while ago, I saw an Iranian human rights activist in exile Lili Mu say that she’s rooting for Reza Pahlavi, who she kept referring to as “his royal highness”, to return to the throne ie she seemed to be rooting for a restoration of the Pahlavi monarchy. It remains to be seen whether that’s what most Iranians want, but while I don’t want to weigh in on what is essentially an internal Iranian matter, I would like to see whichever government comes to power to not only abolish the islamic republic, but ban islam altogether, except in the privacy of one’s home. And even there, regulate islam as strictly as Uzbekistan used to under Karimov (not sure whether they still do)

Yeah, everybody is entitled to privacy in this aspect, but given that everything we all, especially the Iranians, know what islam is, that has to be an exception in this case
It will be hard for any head of state to do this if he is, in his own words, by conviction a shi’a muslim of faith. How exactly does he reconcile that faith w/ his differences w/ the islamic republican regime? Yeah, a lot of Iranians might love him, but at some point, this question does need to be addressed if Iran is to genuinely exorcise the ghost of islamic rule

One amusing footnote: at least 30 years ago I was in Filene’s Basement in Boston, which sold clothes– often very good clothes — at discount prices. (The store no longe exists). As I made my way through the women’s section to the men’s department, I practically ran into the Shahbanou, Farah Diba, who was looking through a pile of Ferragamo and Hermes scarves. She kept her head down, not wanting to be recognized. But I was there, and I did.
