S. S. Narrenschiff has taken off from Sicily to Gaza. The swab-the-decks boatswain of honor on this voyage is none other than the fiery Joan-of-Arc for the Gen-Z generation, Sweden’s attention-seeking Greta Thunberg, who in her wisdom — she’s all of 22 years old — intends to bring attention to the wretched condition of the lives of Gazans, and the cruelty of the colonial-settler ethnic-cleansing genocidal state of Israel. Apparently the Gazans in Greta’s view haven’t been receiving enough attention, despite the round-the-clock coverage of the Strip, which takes up more media bandwidth than the far greater humanitarian disaster in Sudan, or the hundreds of thousands of dead in the Russian-Ukrainian war, or the capsized boats, and mass drownings that result, in the Mediterranean and the Bay of Bengal. At the beginning of May, when this freedom-flotilla stunt was tried with a ship that left from Malta, a drone attack put the ship out of commission before it could get close to Gaza. Maltese authorities concluded that it was “a strategic military attack intended to disable the vessel and not kill those on board.” You can guess who was behind that. And we all remember the Israeli commandos who rappelled down from helicopters to stop the Mavi Marmara in 2008. I don’t think Ms. Thunberg and her ship of fools will make it to the Strip. More on the inimitable Greta and those accompanying her on her latest rendezvous with destiny can be found here: “Greta Thunberg, Liam Cunningham to embark on ‘Freedom Flotilla’ journey to Gaza,” by Danielle Greyman-Kennard, Jerusalem Post, May 31, 2025:
Climate activist Greta Thunberg and Irish Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham are said to be among the Freedom Flotilla Coalition’s crew voyaging to Gaza to deliver aid this weekend.
The crew will journey aboard the Madleen after a drone allegedly destroyed the organization’s last vessel from Sicily, according to the organization.
Yes, too bad about that drone attack. Goodness, who do you think could have been behind it?
Controversial European lawmaker Rima Hassan will also be joining the journey, she announced on X/Twitter.
How bad is Rima Hassan? Here’s how bad:
Hassan has previously made headlines for her claims that Shiri Bibas and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, were not murdered, that European dual nationals should be allowed to join “Palestinian armed resistance” and that Hamas’s October 7 massacre was “legitimate.”
Hassan, a French politician and Member of European Parliament, came under particular fire as among the 1,200 murdered by Hamas on October 7 were 30 French nationals. A number of French nationals were also held captive by the terror group, including Ofer Kalderon, who was released after 15 months in captivity and was initially taken with his children.
So Rima Hassan denied that the Bibas babies, 9-month old Kfir and four-year-old Ariel, were murdered by Hamas. She apparently wants the world to believe that they died in an Israeli strike. She also hailed the atrocities — the mass rapes, tortures, mutilations, and murders carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023 — as “legitimate.” Does Greta Thunberg really want to be, literally, in the same galère with Rima Hassan? The answer is yes.
And no antisemitic event would be complete without a word of encouragement from the squalid likes of Francesca Albanese, antisemite extraordinaire and the UN’s Special Rapporteur for Conditions In the Occupied Palestinian Territories:
Stay safe, my friends. I am painfully aware of the risks you are taking on behalf of all of us—of Humanity.
Diplomats & politicians around the world: The Flotilla Giants are taking the heavy lift. PLEASE make sure they are protected, will you? This is the least you can do. https://t.co/3QQ2hGgcH9
— Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt (@FranceskAlbs) May 30, 2025
United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese wished the flotilla well on their journey.
“Stay safe, my friends. I am painfully aware of the risks you are taking on behalf of all of us—of Humanity. Diplomats & politicians around the world: The Flotilla Giants are taking the heavy lift. PLEASE make sure they are protected, will you? This is the least you can do.”
If Francesca Albanese has given a shout-out to this ghastly affair, can Roger Waters be far behind?
The coalition claimed that its earlier attempt to sail aid to the Gaza Strip from Malta was thwarted after a drone struck the vessel.…
The coalition accused Maltese authorities of preventing the ship from pulling into port to repair the damage and get help for four people aboard who reportedly suffered cuts and burns in the drone attack. The accusation was the first mention of any injuries.
That claim about injuries suffered had not been mentioned at first because there were no such injuries. That tale was added to the subsequent retelling, to make the drone strike seem more harmful to the passengers and crew than it was. The drone was carefully aimed at damaging the ship without harming anyone on board. And that was what happened.
Greta is on the ship, and with Rima Hassan, her atrocity-denying BFF, they are heading to Gaza. But before they arrive, either this ship too will be hit with a drone that will require it to return to its trinacrian port, or it will be boarded by Israeli commandos, in the same way that the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara was boarded in 2010, and then it will be towed to an Israeli port. That ship will eventually be retrieved by its owner and taken back to Sicily. The ship’s passengers will be promptly deported from Israel by plane. At Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Greta Thunberg — who has promised to take planes only in case of “emergencies” — will step out of her Scandinavian Airlines plane, to be greeted with flowers and huzzahs from her ever-decreasing claque of admirers, including a bunch of local Muslims and the ambassador from “Palestine.” Svenska Dagbladet will carry only a brief item — three paragraphs — on her return. A hectic vacancy, a diseased sympathy, a hollow triumph — that is all that Greta Thunberg’s dismal life has become.

the idiot thunberg is no “Joan of Ark.”
thunberg, given way too much attention, is all over the map as to what she protests, and for what she stands…
“Joan” may have been mentally ill, with schizophrenia or some other problem where she heard voices. Or it could have been what she claimed it was. Who’s to say? But at least, she had one focus.
thunberg is all about gaining attention and in this latest thing, she’s on the side of evil. The kids in gaza don’t need her interference, as she can’t cause hamas to give up….if she wanted to do that.
And if the kids are hungry, the blame is on hamas.
And people like thunberg.
Hoi Polloi says
I read during her earliest antics that the most common opinion regarding her was that she should be in school. It’s too late now for her to make up so much of what she missed. She’s probably forever manipulable now.
somehistory says
Child abuse by her parents and those who encouraged her to think too much of her thinking.
She and her comrades want to blow out the blockade Israel has set up to prevent ammo, weapons, etc. from getting in. I remember some years ago when others were doing the same thing and when Israel responded, they were blamed for what happened.
Israel will have to stop her boat. What then? she may be easily manipulated, but she will do her fair share of assigning the blame….for whatever….to Israel.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I think Hugh was being facetious when he referred to her as “Joan of Ark”. Few better phrases to mock her
Reuven says
Israel should seize the boat, give everyone on board long prison sentences for supporting terrorism, sell the boat, (someone will buy it) and give the proceeds to the IDF
basi says
That would be appropriate action, Instead of imprisoning them, (which act may get the world of crazies baying in the usual rabid fashion) it would be better to release them, to the HAMAS occupies area so they get a taste of what they are fighting so hard for!!! I bet the dogs who form Hamas would treat some fresh meat with gusto before throwing them off a roof.
Wellington says
Is it possible for a person to be more insufferable than Greta Thunberg? Perhaps but then perhaps not. Close call here.
E T says
Mark Carney, Yuval Noah Harari, Bill Gates, Anthony Fauci, Nihad Awad……
Wellington says
Definitely “contenders.”
Stive says
Greta thunderberg should be seized off the ship and dropped in Gaza as her new home.
Big Dude says
I pray for a painful end to darling Greta and her friends. Big dude to Greta.. burn in hell you twerp
Hoi Polloi says
Got that one young and played on whatever problems she already had. Momagers and Dadagers are a scourge and should be prosecuted. She’s now an adult, fair game, and thinks it’s heroic to grandstand like this? I watched her cry and didn’t feel empathy or sympathy.
It’s interesting that the left clearly believed they found someone relatable in her. Their judgement is very poor.
Transmaster says
Israeli commandos need to scare the crap out of Greta literally, I mean pissing her patties terror. Israel is going to be the ogre no matter what it does, so be the nastiest ogre that you can be.
Infidel lives matter says
Who is funding this pathetic cardboard figure? Alex Soros? Who else? I don´t give a crap about Greta. She is irrelevant. Stop taking the bait.
Troybeam says
RANSOM Gaza will view her as a money machine, who will pay for her?
Greg says
If Hamas wants a ransom for her I’ll reply “how much to keep her!”
Hugh Fitzgerald says
See O. Henry’s “The Ransom of Red Chief.”

LOL I loved that book.
Kosh's Shadow says
I call her Joan D’ark, because if she had her way with energy, we’d all be in the dark.
As for the ship, it should be seized and auctioned, and just to rub it in, actually give what is left after paying for legal costs, airfare, and other costs, what is left used to cover aid to Gaza instead of having Israel pay.
No one will let their ship be part of it any more.
Westman says
Same terrorist headdress. Gretta, channeling Yasser Arafat in the misadventure of her young life, protesting the continual, resolute defense of Israel while she is blind to the impending loss of her own homeland to Islam.
It’s not cute anymore. If there is ever a “Gretta” perfume line, the first fragrance should be named, “Foolish Distraction”

Love Hugh’s writing. We are blessed to have him.

I liked Liam Cunningham’s character on Game of Thrones–but sadly he is an idiot in real life, at least on this important issue.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
This time, I hope that this boat somehow capsizes & sinks en route to Gaza. Too bad that the drone attack on her last boat from Malta didn’t go all the way & kill her: Gaia would have been one short of a consumer of oxygen
tgusa says
Thunberg is of diminished capacity but what about Liam? Does he have an alcohol problem and goes around drunk and clueless most of the time?

Remember the motorcycling couple who we to some place in islamoland to prove that islam was a religion of peace?. I do.

I do too, but I remember the motorcycling couple as cyclists, or maybe you’re referring to another demented couple?

Peole with disabilities such as Greta’s are easily manipulated, led, and controlled by external influences.. Unable to processively self-actualize on her own leads to her comlete reliance on others to create/fulfil her sense of self (her
self image). Her disability locks her ego in the undeveloped stage of pre adolesence. Without proper developmental coing strategies Greta may never become able to feel internal self worth. A permanent twit.
