What will the French authorities do when they discover that their recognition of the “state of Palestine” hasn’t done a thing to appease many Muslims in France? Appease them some more, of course.
“French experts recommend Palestinian state recognition as option to ‘appease’ French Muslims,” Jerusalem Post, June 12, 2025:
An experts’ report, commissioned by the French Ministry of Interior, recommended that France formally recognize the state of Palestine in order to “appease” Muslim voters and calm internal tensions, as part of a broader report on the Muslim Brotherhood’s influence and political Islamism in French society, which was published in May.
The French Ministry of Interior clarified to The Jerusalem Post that while the ministry made every element of the report, including the topic of Palestinian state recognition, public for all to see, it is not the ministry’s position that a Palestinian state should be recognized at this time.
In fact, it noted that the Minister of the Interior, Bruno Daniel Marie Paul Retailleau, doesn’t believe the current conditions are suitable for the recognition of a Palestinian state, and to do so now would be giving “a victory to Hamas.”
Notably, any recommendation of a Palestinian state was towards the end of the report, which focused largely on the Muslim Brotherhood’s history in France, it’s influence, and further recommendations to address it.
The recommendation, under a section of the report titled “Understand the aspirations of the Muslim population and send them strong messages,” suggested that recognizing Palestine as a state could help ease tensions, signaling support for Palestinians and Muslims in general, while reaffirming France’s commitment to equality and religious freedom for all.
Many in the Muslim community feel that the French government is overly sympathetic to Israel, which they perceive as contributing to their sense of alienation, the report noted. Some argue that France’s position reflects a form of “state Islamophobia,” with the government seen as supporting Israeli Jews over Palestinian Muslims….

How does recognizing a non-existent state make that state a reality? Conversely, no country in the world recognizes a country called Pridnestrovia, but it in fact exists, b/w Moldova and Ukraine. It has all the symptoms of an actual state – independent currency, vehicle licensing, postal system,…. none of which are there either in Gaza nor in Judea/Samaria

Better known as Transnistria. It’s that small exclave east of the River Dniester that is internationally recognized as a part of Moldova. However, since 1991, after the Soviet breakup, Moldova, which is a Romanian speaking country, has been working on getting re-united w/ Romania, and that has caused Russian speaking citizens heartburn. In 1992 itself, the area east of the River Dniester declared itself independent, desiring to be politically a part of Russia. However, the Kremlin doesn’t recognize it as a part of Russia, the way it claims Crimea, Donbass and other parts of Ukraine
Reason I pulled this example is that this is a better example of a country that, unlike “Palestine”, is not recognized by any other country, but is a more functional state than “Palestine”:
⮞ It has its own police and military (PLO has former but not the latter)
⮞ Its own currency & postal system
⮞ Its own vehicle registration system
⮞ Its own coat of arms, aside from flag (which the PLO also has)
⮞ Its own national anthem & constitution
⮞ Does not have either Moldovan nor Russian troops in its territory
⮞ Does not promote terror attacks against either Moldova nor Ukraine
Regardless of what one thinks of Russians, this country has a more legitimate claim to international recognition than “Palestine”. It’s only problem: it’s totally landlocked, and would need either Ukraine or Moldova/Romania to gain access to the outside world, other than these two countries

It’s almost too hard to believe that the French ‘experts” of the Ministry of the Interior so very unaware and even outright ignorant that they feel that by having the government of France officially recognize a state of Palestine “ to appease Muslim voters.
First , appeasement will only make Muslim population of France grow in arrogance , for they would then ,naturally , see those non-Muslim French politicians as weak and therefore make further demands.
Second , terrible behavior should not be rewarded, when considering all those Muslim riots with arson looting and also the sex assaults and even rape of French women , is behavior that needs to be punished and punished hard. Not rewarded with appeasement, that is just outright foolishness and folly.
Third, , this Muslim strategy , in some ways, is very similar to the instruction printed in the book entitled THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu. Which reads, “At first, then, exhibit the coyness of a maiden, until the enemy gives you an opening; afterwards emulate the rapidity of a running hare, and it will be too late for the enemy to oppose you.”

Those government “experts’ in the government of France who have that fool idea of recognizing such a thing as a “Palestinian state,” either don’t know or don’t care that in reality, there is not nor was there ever a genuine land that is “Palestine.” That is a modern fiction. Therefore, that “Palestine flag.” is a fake “flag.”
“The land of Israel was renamed Syria Palestrina by Hadrian, the Roman Emperor. Following the second revolt against Rome in AD 132- 135. The Philistines had always been the enemy of the Jews .and as such it was an insult to the Jewish people.” [1]
It should also be added, that Hadrian had deliberately intended the renaming of Israel to be an insult and offence to the Jews.

Once again, the French get it wrong. The Ministry should have announced: being French means something. If you are a Muslim immigrant, assimilate and become French or leave. At the begining stage of WW II one of the most used phrases in France was “it is better to live under hitler than to die under Churchill” Yes there was some resistance but after the allies, (mostly America) won the war De’Gall acted like the french never surrenderd and many in France wanted to go with the stinking communists.
