Ahmed Rehab of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has issued a statement on the shooting of two Israeli embassy workers in Washington, D.C.:
Ahmed Rehab’s supposed unconditional condemnation of the murders of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim implies that the embassy workers might deserve violence, just not outside legal channels. CAIR will often denounce “Islamophobia” when Muslims are presumed guilty by association (e.g., for working at a mosque where a terrorist once visited). But here, Rehab tacitly accepts the idea that working for Israel could make someone complicit in genocide. This dehumanizes the victims and frames the violence as understandable, even if not technically justifiable. “We stand squarely against vigilante violence” sounds firm — until it’s immediately undermined by the qualifier. When CAIR condemns attacks on Muslims or “Palestinians,” the language is often absolute, not hedged.
For example, after a U.S. drone strike, CAIR doesn’t say, “We condemn the drone strike, even if the target was a suspected terrorist.” They omit the justification entirely. Here, they insert one. There’s no acknowledgment that two people were murdered in cold blood.
CAIR statements about Muslims injured in alleged hate crimes might begin with emotional appeals: “We are heartbroken,” or “Our prayers are with the victim’s family.” In this case, no grief, no names, no humanity — just an abstract stance on vigilante violence. CAIR decries the weaponization of language when Muslims are painted with a broad brush — yet here they accuse Israeli diplomats of genocide-by-employment, without evidence or legal process.
Calling it “vigilante violence” minimizes what was almost certainly a terrorist assassination. If a white supremacist murdered two Muslim embassy workers, CAIR wouldn’t call it “vigilante violence” — they’d rightly call it terrorism, a hate crime, and murder. When Jews are murdered, the language becomes clinical and abstract.
There is no call from Rehab for the killer to be brought to justice or for law enforcement to act. In other cases (e.g., after mosque vandalism or hijab-pulling incidents), CAIR urges police and the DOJ to take immediate action. By bringing up “genocide,” the statement suggests that even if someone is a victim, he might really be the aggressor. This creates a false equivalence — that being Israeli, or working for an embassy, makes you inherently suspect and possibly deserving of violence. This statement is meant to appear moderate to media and allies, but it also may signal approval (or at least understanding) to more radical audiences, avoiding accountability for openly endorsing terrorism while quietly legitimizing it. It’s not a condemnation. It’s a justification in disguise.

I’m neither Israeli nor Jewish, so normally wouldn’t claim to speak for them, but I daresay they’d rather do w/o these contrived, fake condemnation of these murders from those people who created that very environment that enabled it

If I was directly involved, say as a Jew, or a family member of the ones murdered, I’d want to say go soak your heads, keep out of it, or something even stronger to these ghouls who care nothing for the victims and would even do the same to other innocents if they believed they wouldn’t get caught.
The goons and ghouls of cair are enablers of terrorism….from the hoaxes they pull, the lawfare they use to make gain, the charges of a fake ‘phobia’….when islime richly deserves hatred…and putting their dirty fingers in every issue while pretending to be all for “rights.”
This ghoul may believe he’s fooling people and he may fool some, but those of us who have seen and heard enough to know what cair is all about, are not fooled.
So ‘rehab,’ should just shut up.

So Hamas is like the mob if it not a sanction hit by them on innocents who are Jewish they give a blanket BS apologue. Not naming the people killed or saying that the murder was you know a bad thing really just they do not want people murdering Jews outside the sanction of their terror organization.? Does CAIR still -non-profit status in America? Why are its leaders not indicated for supporting terrorist organizations in America and overseas? Freedom of speech does not let you threaten people with violence or murder .
