I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.’ The women asked, ‘O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?’ He said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women replied in the affirmative. The letter, signed by Sheikh Azizurrahman Muhajir, head of the directorate, claims that “women are incapable of learning to drive and have scattered minds.” It argues that driving is “an important and highly responsible profession” and that even minor mistakes could result in the loss of lives….

Regarding the anti-female essence of Islam, one example of this is with Afghanistan.
For some time back way before Joe Biden gave always Afghanistan to the Taliban. An international news reporter asked an official Taliban representative about the Taliban respecting the human rights of woman if they ever did take over the land of Afghanistan again.
That Taliban spokesman answered that question asked of him about the basic human rights of females, both girls and women, he declared” We guarantee all their rights within the limits of Islam.”
All aware people who understand Islam know that the last four words of that statement has an obvious meaning.
Which is that with Islam the rights of females are very limited. As in within the Islamic view, they have little to no rights at all.
As this has been so well explained by Brigitte Gabriel in her book, entitled THEY MUST BE STOPPED in Chapter 9 of the title “Islam’s Contempt for Women” which informs its reader on page 171 “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islamic ideology.”
In addition, on the next page it further reads” Women in Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.”
The tragic and sad reality is that Islam is a religion of brutal, cruel, harsh and even, at times, murderous misogyny.

I’ve seen members of both genders driving as if they never had a lesson.
I had a friend in high school whose father kept buying him new cars because he kept wrecking them.
I believe it’s more the kind of personality than it is the gender whether one drives well or reckless.

I’ve been driving since 1969. I have gotten a few parking tickets and a couple of warnings for going slightly over the speed limit.

James, thank you. Sounds like you are on the low side of average for tickets; and it’s great you haven’t had accidents. I have been in a few, but it was every time, the other driver’s fault.
One of my daughters had to attend traffic school and the instructor asked if the students knew anyone who had never been at fault in an accident and my daughter raised her hand, “My mom.”
He asked about speeding tickets, and she raised her hand, “My mom.”
On the third question, she raised her hand and he said, “I know; your mom.”
Made me feel really good.

Back in the day I got my motorcycle license at fifteen and a half. Yeah, back them you could get one before you could get a car driver license. No tickets, no accidents, although I have several times narrowly avoided accidents that were initiated by other drivers. My jobs have always required lots of driving. Oh and I did get one ticket back in the late 70’s. I did a wheelie from a traffic light and there was a cop in a lane near me. He pulled me over, complimented me on the wheelie, and then wrote me up for, unsafe start.

OK, many decades later I can admit it. At about 14 I started joyriding my parent 69 VW Bug. But I never got a ticket! I have always been a bit of a rule bender. Hey, I never said I was perfect. On one occasion the whole neighborhood was looking for me including the cops. But they didn’t catch me. I knew every road and I was really good at driving a stick shift. Those were the days.

Actually, women are statistically more likely to have fender benders, but for really bad accidents, including fatalities, men are statistically more prone. Statistically men–as a group, *not* every individual–have riskier driving behaviors.

I have never had a ticket or an accident. I do admit I can not parallel park. When I had my drivers test many, many moons ago, I told the old guy testing me I only wanted my license to go to the mall, not to park between two cars on a hill. He passed me with flying colours. Sweet eh?

Scattered minds should be a catch phrase for the world we live in today. And it is not just in Afghanistan, and it is not just women. With every passing day more insanity bubbles to the surface. I used to think, I wish I wasn’t old. I dont think that anymore. Today I think, I’m glad I’m old and I’m grateful that I was able to experience a world that was mostly sane.
