Local residents and shop owners report that the Taliban’s “morality police” have recently barred women under the age of 40 from entering the shared market at the Afghan-Uzbek border in Termez. The restriction, they say, has sharply reduced customer traffic and disrupted cross-border economic activity.
“In the past, families — women included — made up the bulk of our customers,” said one Afghan trader. “Now that young women are banned, our sales have dropped dramatically.”
The regulation appears to be part of a broader pattern by the Taliban of tightening social restrictions, particularly those targeting women’s participation in public and economic life.
Taliban have not commented publicly on the restriction, which affects one of the few commercial spaces along the border where Afghan families had been able to shop and trade together….

The noose get tighter and tighter, soon enough women will have to depend on the men for shopping for food and such. The men will be unhappy and beat the wives for no food in the house because they failed.
The Islamic way of life, always the women faults, no matter how much they cover up, wear gloves, socks to cover ankles the men will find a way to punish women all because the Koran states they are lower than dirt and cattle are given more respect.
Women are the real back bone, they cook, clean, produce children, maintain a home, put up with other wives and yet they are so disrespected and abused.

The burka tent covers could be very inticing to men with imagination. Therefore, the girls should be kept hidden in their house. Better be safe than sorry.

1. How can they tell? The women in question are not supposed to uncover themselves anyway in a public area to verify their identity even if it is a female Taliban enforcer.

2. Wonder if this is to cover some of the economic disruption. It is not that people are staying home because they have no money because the Taliban has no clue how to govern a country; no, they are just staying home because they are too young to shop.

I saw women fully covered in Saudi, sitting in the market movelessly (pls forgive my English) like a rock, begging for money. I guess, they were divorced, no money, and had to support themselves. But they could not work, so begging was the only option even without being accompanied by their male guardians.
That is how Islam “protect” and “value” women, it makes women difficult to live and has to depend completely on men, endure the harsh treament from men. And even in the fake paradise, women are supposed to be only a sex object to men competing with other women, houris and young boys.
Islam is really disgusting.
